@allan27880 describes it brilliantly; I’d give points for the animalic note, the quality of the ingredients (with that OUD), and the 8-hour longevity, which is a feat for me. It works in any season except summer. The price is crazy, but the experience is worth it.

@allan27880 describes it perfectly; I detect an animalic touch, top-tier ingredients with OUD, and it lasts 8 hours, which is madness for me. It suits any season except summer. The price is outrageous, but the experience is worth it.

  • At first, it smells of pure animalic oud, so do not wear it to work or on a date. After ten minutes, the oud recedes and the flowers take over with a wonderful freshness, particularly the violet at its sweet spot. Finally, the amber takes the lead, and Laudamiel demonstrates their mastery by harmonising everything. The projection is low, but it lasts for ten hours on the skin. It is an excellent fragrance that many do not understand because they are looking for an oud and rose bomb like The Night, but they only resemble it at the beginning. The name does not fit the idea of death or darkness. Be careful, as all perfumes from this brand have been reformulated by another perfumer, which is a pity. Look for pre-2024 versions.

  • I initially thought this would be a challenging scent, but fortunately, it turned out to be exquisite. It is delightful and enjoyable, bringing me immense joy whenever I wear it. The only drawback is the price; while there are more expensive options available, the fragrance is so elegant and radiant. The animalic notes are subtle, and the woody elements are sublime. I believe it is the perfect definition of an Arabic perfume: I can imagine a Sheikh after his Bukhoor ritual, with oud oil applied to pulse points, and this magnificent scent rounding everything off. It is a daily-wear fragrance that embodies luxury, exclusivity, and love in a bottle.

  • The expectation of a ‘challenging aroma’ fortunately dissolved into an exquisite fragrance. It is very pleasant, very enjoyable, and brings me immense joy. The only downside is the price; I know there are more expensive perfumes, but what an elegant and radiant scent. The animalic notes are soft, the woods sublime. I believe it is the perfect definition of an Arabic perfume; I can imagine a sheikh after his Bukhoor ritual, with OUD oil on his pulse points, rounded off by this magnificent fragrance. I would wear it daily; it is luxury, exclusivity, love in a bottle.
