  A niche cult pop fragrance with all the hype, discontinued and now ridiculously expensive, just like everything else this American perfume house has released. Bond Nº9 NYC, which, by the way, is known by very few people, especially in Europe. Plum overload, oud, little flowers, incense and musk. All in all, given how many snobbish, compulsive consumerist types are utterly obsessed with perfumery (whether designer-pop or niche, it makes no difference), I’m not surprised people are bidding up to 600 euros for a vintage or discontinued bottle at auctions. If you’re worried about finding one, don’t worry; there are plenty of cheap clones or inspirations out there. As they say in Latin America, check it out, mate, on YouTube and online. In my opinion, the world could perfectly do without this Andy Warhol Bond Number 9. And no one should take this amiss, but in my view, there are at least 20,000 fragrances on the market, especially in the Arab perfume world, that are better (and, above all, much cheaper) than this one.
