Ladies and gentlemen, here we have the clone or dupe of Xerjoff’s Deified Tony Iommi. I do not own it, but I have heard it worn four times by a friend who is absolutely obsessed. To my nose, it is an olfactory affront. What stands out most is the leather: not polished, but tarred and industrial, dominating everything. The rose and saffron notes are barely perceptible, suffocated by the heart, while the apple and cinnamon offer only a sweetness that isn’t overly synthetic. It is inflexible: suited for men over 35 with a villain or Batman aura, vintage and defiant. It only endures night and cold; in heat, it becomes dense, oppressive, and repulsive, projecting an annoying heaviness. As for attraction, it is a resounding no: its exaggerated and musty power makes it unappealing to young women, projecting a heavy masculinity. When to wear it? I do not know; it lasts and projects a bestiality, and the trail is brutal.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the clone or dupe of Xerjoff’s Deified Tony Iommi. Do I own it? No, I’ve heard it four times from a friend who is obsessed with it, but for me, it’s an olfactory offence (that’s my opinion, of course). The dominant note is leather: not polished and elegant, but tarred and industrial, dominating everything. The supposed roses and saffron are barely felt, suffocated by the dense heart; the apple and cinnamon only provide a sweetness that isn’t too synthetic. Its use is inflexible: older male public over 35, with a villain or vintage Batman aura and a challenging vibe. It’s only tolerable at night in the cold; in the heat, it becomes dense, overwhelming and repulsive, projecting an untimely heaviness. As for attraction, it’s a resounding no: its powerful and musty character makes it unattractive for most young women, with a heavy masculinity. As for occasions? I don’t know when I’d use it; it lasts and projects a brutal beastliness, although I don’t know the exact time, its trail is immense.

  • This fragrance is repulsive; I cannot fathom what they were thinking, and I simply cannot stand it.

  • It’s lovely, though not wow or particularly novel; it sits in the style of Homme Nomade or Armani Rosa by Arabian Oud. It’s masculine with that blend of leather, wood, and rose. In my experience, they all smell similar, but this has a softer, more wearable rose. Like all leather, wood, and rose fragrances, it hints slightly at floor wax, crayon, or pencil tip, and occasionally an old-school right-wing vibe. It’s not for heat; it’s quite dense.

  • It is lovely; it is not wow or particularly novel, more in the style of Homme Nomade or Armani Rosa de Arabia. It is masculine with that blend of leather, wood, and rose. In my experience, they all smell similar, but this one has a softer, more wearable rose. Like all leather, wood, and rose fragrances, it smells slightly of floor wax, crayon, or pencil tip, and sometimes of far-right old lady. It is not for heat; it is quite dense.

  • First time here on Fragantica. I already owned the Vulcan Feu, and seeing this edition with its black cobra and ruby eyes, I thought of something dark with oud or incense. I was wrong, but in a good way: it smells of fresh apple with a clean leather that intensifies without being overwhelming. It’s one of the purest leathers I’ve tried; the blend with roses is impeccable, nothing like old petrol, but a made-up leather that softens the profile. I see it as very masculine because the rose accompanies the leather without taking the spotlight, making it more agreeable for others than, for example, the Tom Ford one.

  • This is my first review here. I already own Vulcan Feu, and when I saw this with its black cobra design and ruby eyes, I was taken aback. I expected something with oud or dark woods, but smelling the tester brought me immense joy. It opens fresh with apple and a leather base that intensifies without becoming overwhelming. It’s one of the cleanest leathers I’ve ever heard; the leather and rose blend is impeccable. It doesn’t smell of car wheel, but rather of leather dressed with roses that impart cleanliness. I see it as very masculine because the roses complement the leather rather than stealing its focus, making it more agreeable than Tom Ford’s offering.

  • A great surprise with this Vulcan edition. It doesn’t give me the same DNA as the Tony Iommi (which I own), but rather it’s closer to LP’s Gasoleather (also mine). To be honest, the Vulcan lasts longer and has a much better atomiser. Imagine walking into an 80s mechanic’s workshop on a cold but sunny day, wearing an old leather jacket; I detect a very present petrol note that lasts throughout the evolution. I think you can buy it blind without fear: it’s cheap and sure to surprise you. Its scent comes and goes, avoiding olfactory fatigue, and it has already generated compliments. It’s ideal for fresh weather, but I’d have no problem using it on a 35-degree day.

  • Hello, this is a niche fragrance at 40 euros. It smells different when first sprayed compared to when it dries, but it’s absolutely brilliant in both stages, very masculine. I tested it on four people and everyone loved it (three women, one man); it doesn’t even smell like old leather. It lasts over eight hours with beastly projection. The trail is strong, so four to five sprays are already too much—I almost find it scary to wear. It’s not for young people nor does it smell like an old man; no one has said anything strange. Being so bold, if someone likes it, they’ll give you compliments without holding back, but they might also dislike it entirely. Ideal for cold weather, autumn, and winter at night or formal events. I haven’t smelled the original, but they say it’s 80-90% identical.

  • A real surprise with this edition of Vulcan. It doesn’t share the same DNA as the original Tony Iommi, leaning more towards Gasoleather by LP, though it lasts longer and has a far superior atomiser. Imagine walking into an 80s garage on a cold, sunny day in an old leather jacket; the unlisted petrol note is prominent and lingers all day. It’s safe to buy blind because it’s cheap and reliably surprising. The scent comes and goes, so it doesn’t fatigue the nose. I’ve received compliments already. It’s designed for fresh wear, but I’d have no problem using it at 35 degrees.
