Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2011, the nose behind this composition is Olivier Gillotin. • I tried it today and it has a sweet and sour opening that I thought was green mango or passion fruit, but turns out to be raspberry. After a few hours, that sweet and sourness transforms into a sweet caramel or chocolate type. The final note is the same as the Fantasy by Britney Spears. Some will like it, others won’t due to the sweet and sour part, but generally it’s a good perfume. The bottle is very beautiful, almost magical.

  • I found this morning at the pharmacy in the El Corte Inglés and I sprayed it on my wrist. I didn’t believe it would be available in Spain and I was keen to try it. At the start, the raspberries and blackberries are overwhelming but pleasant; then it softens so much that you have to press your nose to the skin to notice the change towards something sweeter. It smells of caramel or clean chocolate and floral. My boyfriend thought it was a cheap perfume, and I don’t think it’s a marvel either, more in the style of celebrity perfumes.

The hook is the design, but I was disappointed when I smelled it. It is too sweet for a primary school girl; I didn’t like it.

  • BextorGlow

The design is top, but when I smelled it I was disappointed: it’s so sweet it reminds me of primary school girls’ perfumes, it didn’t convince me.

  • I bought it recently along with its little brother Enchanted. I like the presentation of both very much, they are very similar, just different shades. They are trying to imitate a magic potion bottle, with small charms hanging around the neck of the container. At first it smells like guava or passion fruit to me. I don’t like it much. Afterwards it leaves a charming sweetness, like cotton candy. I prefer it for cold days or for the evening. I like Enchanted more.

  • I bought it alongside its little brother, Enchanted. I love the presentation; they look like magical potions with hanging charms. At first, it smells of guava or passion fruit, which I don’t particularly enjoy, but then it settles into a delightful sweetness like cotton candy. I prefer it for cold days or evenings, although I still favour Enchanted.

  • I really don’t like it. I was so excited to smell it that when I did, everything vanished. I really thought that being by Taylor Swift it would give a bit more, something sweet and innovative. But I didn’t even like the smell. It disappointed me so much. Now I’m waiting to smell Enchanted to see how that is.

  • I really do not like it. I was so excited to smell it that when I did, everything vanished. I thought that being by Taylor Swift it would offer something sweeter and more innovative, but I simply did not like the scent. I was so disappointed. Now I am waiting to smell Enchanted to see how that one is.

  • It smells of peach and mango, sweet and soft. I liked the aroma a lot, however I decided to wait for its evolution during the day. I did well… after an hour it had disappeared from my skin. I would have bought it if it didn’t have such poor longevity.

I was dying to have this perfume; they always gave me samples at Sears and I was just saving up the money, and finally today I bought it. What can I say, it’s a unique scent, first sweet and sour, then fruity and finally sweet. I love the sweet and sour aroma, like blackberry, and I haven’t worn it, but whenever they gave me a sample it had good longevity on me. The bottle is innovative and very charming, not to mention the iridescent touch. If you only like sweet perfumes, this isn’t for you… But if you like special perfumes that end up being common, this is perfect. I love it.

  • I bought it at the weekend along with a few other celebrity perfumes just to see what they were like; they’re cheap and have lovely bottles, including this one which I couldn’t smell in the shop as there was no tester and it’s sold in a box with the cream and gel. What fell me in love was the bottle, so beautiful it looks like a fairy’s, as if it came straight out of Tinkerbell. When I got home and tried it, it wasn’t to my taste, but I wear it because I own it. I don’t think I’ll buy it again even though it’s cheap. On Tuesday I wore it before going out and lots of people asked about it, saying it smells exquisite; some said it reminded them of Pink by Lacoste, others things, but always compliments. The worst part is they asked me what it was called and I couldn’t remember. I didn’t like it much, even though they said it was delicious, because it wasn’t. On my skin I don’t feel any change; it smells the same all day, it doesn’t become sweeter or sharper, nor does the trail fade. What does it smell like? I can detect amber, vanilla, peach and freesia, but I don’t find it that nice. I’ll finish it slowly because the scent doesn’t drive me mad, but the bottle has me enchanted, so it will stay in my dressing table as a decoration for a long time.

  • To like this, you need to love super-sweet perfumes, be very young and adore Taylor Swift to the point of wanting everything she does. If you don’t meet these criteria, you probably won’t like it at all. I honestly wanted to run away as soon as I tried it… it is not for me.

  • Conditions for you to like this perfume: – That you like extra-sweet perfumes. – That you are very young. – That you like Taylor a lot, to the point of loving anything she does. If you don’t meet these requirements, you probably won’t like it at all. I honestly wanted to run away when I tried it… it’s not for me.

  • I bought it a few days ago without being able to try it in a store; I just smelled the cap and loved it, so I paid for it. It smells citrusy and sharp, like blackberries with a touch of sweetness, reminding me of Victoria’s Secret Love Spell. However, I was disappointed by the longevity: not even half an hour, nothing. I know I am not the only one who comments on this. It is a pity because it smells delicious but leaves no trail. I have to reapply it every hour, whereas my Love Spell lasts all day. If you don’t have a tester, do not buy it.

  • I bought this perfume a few days ago; the place where I bought it didn’t have testers, so I only smelled the cap and I loved its scent, so I paid for it and took it home. These days I’ve been using it; its scent is indeed an acidic citrus, effectively smelling of blackberries, very tasty, with a sweet touch but it’s more citrusy. It reminds me a bit of Victoria Secret’s Love Spell, but I have to admit it has disappointed me. The scent is great but it doesn’t last half an hour, nothing at all. I don’t know if it’s me, but it seems I’m not the only one in this group commenting on this, so I can’t recommend it. It’s a pity because it really smells delicious and it’s infuriating that it doesn’t last at all. If you want to buy it, go to a shop that has testers, enjoy it, and check the longevity, and if it’s good, go ahead and buy it. But if it doesn’t last at all like it did for me, then don’t even think about it; it doesn’t leave a trail either. In short, simply disappointed!!! My Love Spell lasts much longer and leaves more trail all over the house, and this perfume I have to reapply every hour!

This perfume has a charming scent; it’s special and also has good longevity. I really recommend it; its bottle is very lovely and it has lovely details too.

  • Estherxu93

Its packaging caught my attention a great deal, and according to the notes, I thought I’d like it. I sprayed it on my skin and oh my god, what horror; I wouldn’t know how to describe it. I left it on the shelf and went back the way I came. I don’t know… I suppose everyone has their own perception, and when I’ve recovered from the shock, I’ll try it again and give a more detailed review.

  • I agree; its bottle is beautiful, its colour, everything, but ultimately the scent disappointed me; it’s very strong and unpleasant. Everyone has their own tastes, I respect that.

  • It is my new acquisition, but it did not live up to my expectations. It smells a bit synthetic; it is sweet without being cloying, but the fruity notes do not work well together. The presentation is beautiful and the price is good, but I think I would not buy it again; it is a little too strong. Taste is subjective, but it would be good to try it before buying. Despite being affordable, if you do not like it, the money is wasted.

  • This is my new acquisition. But… it didn’t please me as I thought. Hmm… it smells a bit synthetic. It’s sweet without being cloying. But the fruity notes don’t play well together. Beautiful presentation and very good price. I don’t think I’d buy it again… it’s a bit strong. It’s a matter of personal taste. But it would be good to try it before buying. Despite being affordable, if it doesn’t please you, you’ve wasted your money.

This scent is very sweet and youthful. It smells of blackberries and sugar. I recommend it for daily use because it’s not at all sophisticated. It’s ideal for young girls. The bottle is gorgeous and looks very good on the dressing table.

  • I’ve had it for four years; my mum gave it to me because she’s a huge fan. When I first smelled it, I didn’t like the scent at all; it seemed like a perfume for someone older. At that time, I was 16, and I stopped using it for a while. Now that I’ve smelled it again, it seems such a rich and elegant scent. It’s sweet without being cloying or overbearing. It has considerable longevity, as even on my clothes, the scent is noticeable up to two days later. I love it; that’s all I can say.

  • LaraVergara_

Delicious, but I feel I’ve smelled it before. I bought it because I know it’s discontinued (at least in Argentina) and I found it on offer in a pharmacy, plus the bottle is collectible. Wonderstruck opens with a sweet and sour note (blackberry and raspberry) which makes it elegant and powerful; it gave me an olfactory déjà vu with Girlfriend by Justin Bieber, they smell the same, but while JB’s doesn’t evolve, this one does. Over time it leaves that overwhelming acidity to give way to a achieved, warm and enveloping vanilla, without feeling cheap or synthetic, more like a creamy dessert than an artificial sweet. It reminds me of a perfume from my childhood, “Little Women – Sunny”. The longevity is surprising, about 6-7 hours, with a heavy trail that can be suffocating if overapplied. The packaging is beautiful, with an iridescent effect and charms, it looks like a collectible. It’s a pity it’s hard to get; if Taylor had done more marketing or had a more accessible price, it would have sold more. I give it an 8.5, deducting points for lack of originality, but celebrity fragrances rarely revolutionise. Over time I went from “I like it” to “I love it”; it seems like the mature and less cloying version of Midnight Fantasy. I think it will become my signature scent and I’m very sad it’s discontinued, I have the 50ml bottle hidden away as if it were a dragon’s egg.

  • LaraVergara_

Delicious… though I feel I’ve smelled it before. I bought it because I knew it was discontinued (at least here) and found it on offer at a pharmacy (there was only one left); I’d wanted it for ages, plus the bottle… what can I say? It’s a collector’s item. At first, Wonderstruck opens with a well-acidic and slightly sweet top note (certainly blackberry and raspberry) that makes it elegant and ‘knockout’; this phase gave me an olfactory déjà vu with Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend—in fact, they smell the same; I have the JB bottle right next to it and the combination is identical. The difference is that GF doesn’t evolve… whereas Wonderstruck, wow! As the hours pass, it leaves that overwhelming acidity behind to give way to vanilla (a very well-done, warm and enveloping one… it doesn’t feel cheap or synthetic at all) and sugar (not listed, but there’s a very strong note). At this stage, you might be thinking: ‘Is this Britney’s Midnight Fantasy?’ No, just to give you an idea. MF is a sweetness that evokes more of a synthetic sweet: jelly, gummies, etc. WS, on the other hand, has a creamier aftertaste… like a dessert, but without reaching gourmand territory. This phase reminds me a lot of a perfume from my childhood, ‘Little Women – Sunny’. The longevity and sillage are surprising, well above average, with a heavy sillage that can suffocate if over-applied and a longevity of about 6–7 hours. As I mentioned, the packaging looks like a collector’s piece! The marketing team did an excellent job with that iridescent effect and the charms… it’s simply beautiful. It’s not unique, but it has something that catches the eye… it attracts a lot of attention. It’s a pity it’s so hard to get hold of and if it’s been discontinued, that’s a shame; they could have squeezed more sales out of it if Taylor had made a minimum effort to promote the fragrance or if it had been launched at a more accessible price. In my opinion, it has a solid 8.5, 2.5 points less due to the lack of originality, but if we’re being fair, celebrity fragrances (with a few exceptions) aren’t there to revolutionise the world of perfumery. Update 2/12/18 Over time, I’ve gone from ‘I like it’ to ‘I love it’; this perfume seems to be the mature and less cloying version of Midnight Fantasy. They are quite similar, but Wonderstruck is much more mature and sensual. I think it’s about to become my personal fragrance and it pains me greatly because it’s discontinued. I have the 50ml bottle hidden away as if it were a dragon egg or something similar.

  • I have a sample and it smells incredible. The bottle is gorgeous and really catches the eye. I haven’t bought it yet, but it’s already on my wishlist.

  • Dani Machaca Wonderstruck 💜 is the first fragrance from the young American pop singer Taylor Swift, launched in cooperation with the cosmetics company Elizabeth Arden. The perfume was created by Olivier Gillotin from Givaudan. Wonderstruck was launched in 2011, inspired by the feeling and impression you get when you first meet someone you like; it’s a charming floral gourmand with bright fruity tones over a woody base. The top notes are raspberry, blueberry, green tea, freesia, and apple blossom, which lead to its heart of sweet vanilla along with honeysuckle and white hibiscus. Notes of golden amber, musk, sandalwood, and peach are in its dry down. Its notes don’t say it, but you get a delicious touch of liquor. Its sillage is felt at a metre’s distance; it lasted six hours on me; it’s a cheerful, fun, and cosy perfume, like a warm tea on a cold day during the afternoon. Good blind buy!!

  • It’s a soft perfume; on my skin, at least, it has neither great sillage nor great longevity (about three hours); it’s more of a shy one, very pleasant. I can smell the tea all the time. The opening is sweeter; you can feel the blackberry, freesia, and raspberry a lot, and as it dries down, the peach and vanilla start to become more present. It’s like a bakery smell, nothing synthetic, delicate, warm; it reminds me a bit of the tea houses in my city, like old houses with huge windows, remodelling, decorated with plants, pastel colours, and vintage furniture. It’s exactly like the bottle; I think the word is ‘charming’ or ‘sweet’. The bottle is simply too lovely; I was surprised the dials were metal and that iridescent mother-of-pearl over the indigo glass… I love it. I feel it’s very suitable for autumn or spring, one of those fresh or rainy days, for more informal occasions or even to relax at home.

  • Subtle and shy, lasting about three hours. On my skin, the tea note is very prominent, starting with a sweet blend of blackberry, raspberry and freesia that gives way to peach and vanilla. It smells like natural bakery goods, delicate and warm. It reminds me of those old tea houses in my town, with large windows, plants and pastel colours. The bottle is enchanting and tender, featuring metal charms and pearlescent indigo glass. Ideal for fresh or rainy autumn/spring days, for informal occasions or for relaxing at home.

My favourite perfume of all time, and I have several in my collection (not many, but several). I’ve had it for three years; it was a gift from my mum for my birthday. I went through three bottles of this perfume, and whenever I asked what my favourite perfume was, everyone would reply ‘the Taylor one’… I kept it so well stored that I didn’t want it to run out, one because it smelled so good I wanted to save it for special occasions, but oh surprise, all its contents evaporated in my room and there was nothing left, and I didn’t even realise… for a long time my favourite was the Britney Spears one, and everyone knew it too. Now that I know it’s discontinued, I ordered it from Mercado Libre at a deal of 1,000 Mexican pesos for the largest bottle with shipping included. I must admit I absolutely adore the scent of this perfume and I think it will be one of my favourites forever; it’s a pity it’s been discontinued…

  • Marlenegvc

It is my favourite perfume of all time. I have had it for three years; it was a birthday gift from my mum. I went through three bottles, and when people asked which was my favourite, they all said ‘the Taylor one’. I kept it so well that I didn’t want it to run out, but it evaporated completely in my room without me noticing. My previous favourite was the Britney Spears scent, but now that I know it is discontinued, I ordered it on sale on Mercado Libre. I absolutely adore its smell and it will remain one of my favourites forever; it is such a shame it is no longer available.

  • I used this perfume in early secondary school; I didn’t pay much attention to it for a while and recently finished by gifting it away. I remember it had a longevity of 5 to 6 hours and a strong sillage (I think due to the sandalwood); if we talk about the scent, on my skin I felt it as a floral woody and very powdery aroma. Only recently did I realise it was categorised as ‘Floral Fruity’ because I didn’t smell any fruit at all. Perhaps because my country has a humid tropical climate.

  • The fragrance is quite gourmand; you can smell a lovely berry tea. It’s very teen. The good thing is I got the 50ml bottle for $9,000 in Argentina, but the bad thing is it’s for personal enjoyment only, as it lasts just two hours close to the skin and then disappears like magic. On the other hand, the truth is I bought it for the little bottle, so I can’t complain… Chan.

  • Ana Verónica

The most horrendous smell I’ve ever encountered. What a shame the little bottle is so beautiful.

  • This is one of the perfumes with the most beautiful packaging I’ve ever seen. At first, I didn’t like the opening much; it’s a bit alcoholic, but the smell improves quickly and the top notes become more apparent. The raspberry and blackberry scent stands out, followed by hibiscus and tea; I don’t perceive the other notes much, but it smells fruity and sweet without being cloying, as it also has a slightly talcum-like scent and I detect an undeclared lipstick note. It’s ideal for young women; it’s a pity it’s discontinued because it evolves so beautifully. Fun fact: this perfume belongs to my mum; when she bought it, it was very cheap, and only when we realised it’s now invaluable did we notice. I still can’t find a dupe that does it justice.

  • Without a doubt, the presentation is simply beautiful. The scent is nice but not great, perhaps it doesn’t quite match the packaging. At first, I hated it, but over time, as I started to smell more of the vanilla, I grew to like it. It smells like a berry tea with a vanilla base. The tea note is quite noticeable, especially at the beginning… so either you love it or you hate it. It’s youthful, more for casual outings. Regarding the presentation, I must say the perfume is cracking the part around the diffuser. Nothing serious, as it’s not very expensive, but I really don’t like it when that happens 🙁

  • First impressions: I find it fruity, sweet, and creamy, very soft. For now, it has low sillage and projection, but it lasts quite a while close to the skin. It stays in the hair until you wash it. It’s rich; in Argentina it’s cheap, and I wanted to try it because they say it’s discontinued, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • It’s an exquisite perfume; I’ve already bought it for the third time and gifted it many times. I wish it lasted longer on the skin, though given the price, the longevity is acceptable; on my skin it lasts about four hours (and I’m not known for great sillage), but the trail is good. It reminds me of some notes in Play Intense Violet or CH Violet. If you like those perfumes, these notes will suit you well. The bottle is magnificent.
