Rich scent and very similar to the 2014 version; in fact, I hesitated between buying the original or this one because I’m not sure which I prefer, but this does seem a little more earthy after about two hours. I believe it has the same projection and longevity on the skin as the original, just with a different aroma. As I couldn’t decide, I now have both. They are excellent classic perfumes, very different from most of the current fashion launches.
La Panthère Légère is a bit complicated at first (it smelled like glue to me, I don’t know how to describe it), with an overwhelming opening where the musk and aldehydes take centre stage. You have to let it settle for minutes and minutes until that feline essence with body emerges, delicate and tender, giving presence and cleanliness. It suits perfectly in the evening on cool nights. Neither vulgar nor sublime, nor dense, but with very defined personality against current commercial trends. It radiates luxury and sophistication. In my case, luck that I knew how to wait; like a good feline, it made me wait and only emerged when it felt confident. It lasts several hours with great elegance.
I’ve just finished the bottle of La Panthere Legere… What can I say? It is a chypre, truly a chypre with a capital C. This perfume is exceptional and very different from everything we’ve been served in recent years with that sweet and fruity trend. It’s a chypre from before, from the old school. The beauty of the patchouli is more noticeable in winter (plus, in winter I can distinguish notes of champagne even though they aren’t in the pyramid), while in summer the gardenia, nuts and moss take centre stage. I think it’s totally versatile, suitable for day and night, romantic and perfect for the office. And the bottle… simply beautiful. Longevity and trail are very good. Definitely, I will buy it again.

A wonder of wonders, an ELEGANT perfume with a capital E. Modern floral but with a classic touch. Intense and soapy. Incredible trail and excellent longevity. On my skin it has a small citrus opening giving way to all the flowers in their splendour, and finally leaves me with a softer floral aroma with aldehydes that remind me of the touch of Chanel No. 5 without being as overpowering. I gifted it to my mother because I feel it’s perfect for a mature woman who makes a strong impression with great class. The carved bottle seems worthy of decoration in any dressing table. In short, when I’m twenty years older I want to smell like this.

I like it very much. At first, it reminded me of Chanel No. 5 but without being so strident. Aldehydic opening with bergamot, then gardenia, ylang-ylang and a touch of rose. Thank goodness on my skin the fruity notes don’t stand out, which I don’t like. In the base there is well-defined musk, patchouli and oakmoss, especially a sweet apricot, almost in syrup, ideal in temperate climates. On my skin, the apricot, oakmoss and gardenia predominate. It’s a well-executed chypre that recalls an elegant woman from the 1940s. It suits better in autumn-winter and works for any time of day.

This review isn’t about notes or technical depth; it’s just my personal experience. La Panthere Legere is my soulmate; from its launch it captivated me and through its evolution it hasn’t disappointed me, unlike other perfumes, but rather it has only improved, to the point that by the end of the day I was hers and he was mine, and I believe we’ll continue like this for a long time. It’s a perfume that makes me feel alive, powerful, secure, subtly seductive without being aggressive or invasive; its presence is noticeable. It’s a quiet panther, incredibly elegant in its posture and feline movements, yet without losing its wild essence.

This perfume evokes the sensuality of a woman: that mix of tenderness and seduction. Gardenias, pear, tiare flower, musk and leather 😍. Simply magnificent.
Super sensual and feminine, it has the Panthère DNA but is sweeter and deeper. On my skin, the nut notes stand out, very rich. But I still prefer La Panthère EDT. Overall, it’s for special occasions, more evening. Very rich.
Very pleasant, feminine, elegant, soft, fresh and sweet. This Panther lacked a bit more moss and leather for me. Ideal for spring, autumn and even summer without issues in the heat, or for enclosed spaces. Very versatile. Thumbs up 👍. I’ll stick with my Panthère Soir and the EDP 💖; the Soir version is bolder.
What a beautiful scent! I had doubts about buying it blind due to the aldehydes, which usually give me a vintage vibe on my skin, but here Cartier handles them brilliantly: gardenia, nuts, jasmine, patchouli and musk smell deliciously sensual and powerful. The leather, oakmoss and green notes make it a perfect unisex fragrance. Trail and longevity are excellent, and the quality/price is impeccable. It’s a timeless floral chypre for unisex. Happy with the purchase. ❤️
I don’t usually go for floral or earthy perfumes, but Cartier breaks the rules. Panthère is pure delight and I love it. The trail and longevity are top-notch; every time I wear it, I discover something new. Does anyone know if it pairs well with any Mancera fragrances?
