Bottega Veneta Eau Légère is a floral-aquatic scent yet it avoids the ozone or citrus notes typical of aquatics; it possesses a divine carefree freshness that feels utterly natural. Perfumer Michael Almairac describes it as passing the original BV EDP through a waterfall… and he’s right! A floral with an incredibly tender wet leather nuance. What a beauty easily one of the brand’s finest. It’s that kind of perfume where you’re not quite sure where to wear it but for all the right reasons boasting ethereal qualities that speak of excellent craftsmanship. They’ve released some wonderful flankers since the beginning yet strangely have discontinued them all including the original. I’m not sure where the brand is heading but given these widespread decisions I get the distinct impression that its future will be rather dull.

A floral scent with prominent pink pepper notes. I find it somewhat masculine or unisex.
