I like this perfume, although I wouldn’t pay the asking price. It’s a blend of red fruits with woods and green notes. I even detect a hint similar to Still. It smells lovely, though its longevity and sillage aren’t exactly world-class; you have to overapply for it to be noticeable. For me, it’s a sweet and fresh fragrance ideal for daily wear. Scent: 8, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 5, Value for money: 4, Versatility: 9, Overall rating: 7.

You’re not yet worried about the adult world; you’re in the village, returning home from a friend’s house where you just had the chocolate and bread hour, and you’ve already eaten your snack. You pass through a vegetable garden straight after a shower, everything is very green and wet, and among the grass grow fragrant herbs that reach above your ankles. You can hardly see the path, yet you know it so well you could walk it with your eyes closed. Halfway there, you’re already soaked in aromas of thyme, mint, hints of liquorice… it’s green and fresh, it’s… it’s inevitable to buy a bottle to travel back in time. Delicious; I hope you can transmit this sensation to me as I have, and if you don’t know the feeling, may it generate a similar memory for you.

PRAKT means splendour, and that is exactly what it smells like: a semi-gourmand fruity cocktail, fresh, green and crisp. @laenfermeria’s description fits perfectly; it transports you straight to a wild field or garden. I love it as an olfactory experience to relax and enjoy now and then. Although the projection is medium-low, it is a revitalising and refreshing perfume with very well-executed accords. Perhaps the longevity hovers around four hours, but there are others that don’t even reach that. In short, it has immense quality. PRAKT, alongside Sadel, Fröjd and Idyl, is the best from this Swedish house.
