Smells like classic Toulouse violet sweets from start to finish. The opening is slightly misleading with a synthetic ink-like note that lasts about five minutes, but then the sugared violet scent emerges, lasting for hours and offering great longevity. I don’t detect any iris at all. I see it as more feminine, ideal for autumn or spring; in hot weather, it becomes overly sweet and heavy. Projection is decent and it lasts long on the skin, still noticeable after eight hours. Personally, it’s not for me: I like violet, but preferably with incense like Exultat or bolder, like in Fahrenheit. I can’t stand it being so sugary, even though I love sweets. If you like smelling like those sweets, this is for you.

Reminds me of a sweet I used to eat as a child, though I can’t recall which one. The floral notes are clear, and there’s a woody, mentholated finish shared by all this brand’s perfumes. They have two clear things: a very natural and rich aroma, but a performance that doesn’t justify the price. It depends on your wallet, of course. Some people use Neroli Portofino or Jo Malone, which last less and they don’t mind. For me, spending €100 on 30ml that barely project, leave little sillage, and become intimate after an hour is hard. They last a maximum of three or four hours before becoming undetectable. If you can afford it and reapply often, I recommend it if you like sweet, fresh, and woody scents.
