A fantastic fragrance and the best daily alternative to the original Fan Your Flames. If you know the original, there are no surprises or redundancies. Note: it does not smell like Le Male. It opens fresh, resinous, and spicy, followed by a balanced floral nuance that keeps it from being feminine. The rest is burnt coconut, tobacco, and tonka—the pure essence. It’s 100% unisex: the coconut and tobacco suit a man in warmth, while a woman won’t mind the tobacco if she prefers deep fragrances. It’s versatile, less mossy than the original. Ideal for wearing Fan Your Flames in the morning and reapplying this in the afternoon, or as your distinctive tobacco-coconut scent. It feels niche, expensive, and exquisite. In terms of density, a normal spray is worth four of this.
Top notes are a sweet coconut opening that settles into a formal wood base, yet retains that intact sweetness. I adore the longevity and trail. I was torn between this and the original, but since every skin has its own pH, I chose this one as it’s more wearable for me. Forget comparing it to Le Beau; here, you smell like money.
