  It begins with an intense Oolong tea aroma that soon blends with citrus and flowers. It’s a delight that evolves over time: fresh at first, creamy at the end where a top-quality magnolia really shines. I’m very demanding when it comes to unisex scents and look for them to lean towards the masculine, but this, even though it’s neutral, I absolutely love it.

  Sometimes it’s scary to give an opinion, fearing people will tell you your nose isn’t educated or that you can’t tell good from bad. But I don’t care. To be honest: three sprays on the wrist and it smells like bitter, expensive tea. After a minute, it’s gone. That’s it. Nothing else remains.

  In the debate over whether perfumes have a gender, everyone sprays what they please. But we live in a culture, and Wülóng Chá X doesn’t smell of typically masculine ingredients. It’s a floral and tea extract. On a young girl in summer, it’ll turn heads and everyone will smile. On a bearded balding bloke, it’ll be the talk of the town: girls will ask where he bought it and colleagues will joke about stealing it from his sister. Nishane wants to sell it, and if calling it unisex helps, I’m not here to contradict their marketing. It smells fresh, with something sweet, floral and fruity. Quite pleasant, but outside the internet, in real life, it isn’t unisex.
