Descripción

Ekos Alma 2025 by Natura is a woody-spicy olfactive family creation, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, has been developed by nose Verônica Kato. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with top notes of white cedar, jasmine, mandarin, and Sicilian lemon; a heart composed of priprioca, passionflower, and valley lily; and a base that evokes copaiba balsam, priprioca, amber, and coumarin.

I own it. I haven’t tried the 2019 vintage, but this one is fascinating: it smells like a tree pouring itself into the Amazon. It’s very balsamic, with fruits, berries and flowers that give the sensation of having licked the spot where it soaked in. I love that it doesn’t have vanilla, as I find it too nerfed; every perfume has it and this one doesn’t. The sweetness comes from other notes like coumarin, Breu Branca and copaiba balsam. It’s niche rose, I’d say it even is. Ideal for winter, I feel like using it as olfactory therapy. 10/10 perfect unisex, but not for teenagers. For 35 plus, with a formal or semi-formal look, for men with character. Don’t apply too much as it’s potent.

I own both, and this one casts a shadow over the other, though it lacks the density and complexity of the 2019 version. It projects more and lasts a treat, yet feels more ‘finished’ and less balsamic, retaining that sweet fig and wet earth accord. They say it’s more feminine due to that intense floral opening that fades in fifteen minutes, but once it dries, it’s identical to its sibling: for me, totally unisex. Is it worth it? It’s pricey for 50ml, but it compensates with longevity and projection. It comes at a price similar to a good Arabic fragrance, but they lack these Amazonian accords, except for Emper Black 92, which smells similar but is drier and more linear. In the end, it comes down to personal taste.
