Ekos Pedra by Natura is an aromatic woody fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2025, unveils a new olfactory interpretation under the direction of nose Verônica Kato. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with elegance: the top notes, composed of white cedar, lavender, bergamot and hyssop, give way to a mineral and fresh heart where cypress and geranium take centre stage. The trail settles on a warm and earthy base formed by amber, moss and patchouli.

It’s curious. I detect quite a bit of moss and a metallic side. It doesn’t kill me, nor do I dislike it; I want to continue testing how it behaves.

It’s a beauty, it looks like an expensive designer perfume. Fresh, citrusy with masculine touches. It bears no resemblance to Alma, which I also love. After months searching for something surprising and different from the ordinary, it has succeeded. Admirable for its price and longevity.
A pure mineral fougère, Natura DNA from head to toe. An incredible opening of bergamot and lavender that mutates into a mossy green mineral, avoiding dryness thanks to that perfect balance. I don’t know how to suck on a stone, but the mineral aspect blends beautifully with the green notes. It’s rare, addictive, lasts for hours, and projects wonderfully in the first hour. Totally unisex; it’s a magnet for compliments. It doesn’t follow the path of Alma (I have the 2019 and 2025 versions) but it’s closer to Raíz, a marvel. Same price as a good Arab fragrance, yet I can’t think of one that smells like this; entirely worth paying the asking price.

Then the mineral note comes into its own, as if smelling of a river stone with mossy and floral notes that transport you to the valleys and rivers of Elqui. At the base, the woody sandalwood isn’t dominant. It’s not for everyone or for daily wear; it’s too special. I’ll use it for olfactory experiences rather than outings. Natura keeps surprising me more and more.

Its main note is Breu-Branco, an affordable option compared to the exclusive Oud, with high-quality essences that are less synthetic. As a football player who sweats, my teammates think it’s an Arab fragrance or from Tom Ford. I spray it at noon and it lasts the two hours of the match; after showering, it still smells. It’s a niche that every man should own before Natura discontinues it.

By the way, it reminds me of OLM from Zoologist… it’s not the same, nor a dupe, but if you were craving that special edition, here’s an easier option to use. The notes and the name didn’t particularly catch my eye, but once I tried it, it was a different story: fresh, aromatic and unisex. It can lean towards masculine, but it’s super friendly and easy for a woman to wear.
