Noir D’Arabie is a hidden gem worth trying. It’s an inspiration for Montale’s Arabians Tonka, sweeter, loaded with saffron, and less masculine; exquisite and fun. It carries the fresh climate to shine. At 22-30€, it’s a marvel with over 10 hours of longevity and an incredible trail.
Smells like sweet roses mixed with horse sweat. I understand some may like it, but for me it’s a resounding no.
Excellent dupe of Montale’s Arabians Tonka, the best I’ve tried. The longevity is a beast, buy without hesitation.
First time and it didn’t convince me: it smells like a tarot consultant’s sofa, strong scents mixed badly. The intensity drops but it remains unpleasant. I give it 2/5 because it could be worse.
Noir de Arabia is for night and cold weather: vanilla, amber, and tonka bean. Over 8 hours of longevity and brutal projection. Sweet and intense, ideal if you’re looking for that profile.
It annoys me to read reviews from people who only know mainstream scents (floral, citrus) and consider oud or leather disgusting. If you don’t know how to experiment with different combinations, don’t give your opinion; your nose is very basic.
