Kim Kardashian by Kim Kardashian is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2009, the nose behind this creation is Claude Dir. I gave it to my mum and it smells fresh and different. It’s very elegant and 100% recommended.
The first time I tried it, I didn’t know Kim, but I loved it straight away. It smells like my mother’s lipstick when I was a child, a heavenly, floral and delicate scent. It doesn’t matter who the owner is; all I know is that it transports me back to my childhood, and that’s what counts.
At first I didn’t know Kim, but the scent delighted me. It smells like my mother’s lipstick when I was a child, a heavenly, floral and delicate aroma. I don’t know much about the famous person, but it doesn’t matter; all I know is that I like it, it makes me happy, it transports me back to my childhood and that’s what’s important.
I bought the miniature for the bottle. When I smelled it, it reminded me very much of the Michel by Michael Kors that I owned and gave away because it became too strong for me, although I liked it, until a note came out I couldn’t tolerate. In this Kim one, I smell everything I liked about the other but without that unpleasant note and it’s not so heavy, so I definitely want it. While using the miniature, the smell of Nardos and more Nardos is muuuy rich.
Very good fragrance. I’m not a Kim Kardashian fan, but it’s an elegant and floral scent, in the style of Chanel’s Mademoiselle or Ricci, at a very accessible price. Recommended for daily wear and special occasions. The Nardos, gardenias, jasmines and a creamy note I can’t quite identify are very noticeable. It’s a good perfume – smell it without letting the brand influence you.
I’d never tried a Kim perfume before, but this stands out for being different from the typical celebrity scents: good but simple and safe aromas. I was given this in a blind swap and, straight from the cap, I liked it; on the skin, even more so. It’s a good perfume unfairly stigmatised. On my skin, I first smell the musk, then a natural and well-made neroli, which I appreciate. It smells very natural, like the fresh neroli altars at church when I was a child. I’d highlight that I can detect many notes: delicate jasmine, cheerful tuberose, orchid, and a base of woods, spices and sweet and sour mandarin. It’s a strong floral, it may not suit everyone but it will surprise. Recommended 100% for fresh days, as it suffocates in the heat. Longevity and trail are good, about three sprays are enough. What a lovely gift!
I’d never tried a Kim Kardashian perfume before, although this caught my eye because it has a different composition to most celebrity scents, which tend to be good but simple and safe. Recently, with a Fragrantica colleague, we did a blind swap and I got this. Smelling it straight from the cap I liked it, and on the skin even more so – I realised how undervalued it is. A good perfume stigmatised by the brand. On me, first the musk, then the Nardo, which seems well-executed and natural – something I appreciate. It reminds me of going to church with altars covered in fresh Nardos; my mum associates it too. I highlight that it’s one of the perfumes where I’ve most easily distinguished notes: the jasmine adds delicacy, the orange blossom is a youthful spark and the orchid completes the bouquet. It’s very floral with a woody, spicy base and a few drops of sweet and sour tangerine. It’s a strong aroma that will surprise many. Recommended 100%, better for fresh days as it might be suffocating in heat. Longevity and sillage are good; about three sprays are enough. What a lovely gift I received!
I love it – it smells delicious. It’s a bouquet of jasmine, gardenia and Nardos. I know girls who have bought it several times for its fantastic scent. My only gripe is that longevity on my skin is weak, and I’d love for it to last longer. Sillage is moderate.
Although some might get hung up on the name, it’s worth trying and being surprised. It’s floral, innocent and romantic, with neroli, gardenia and jasmine giving it a creamy feel. The sandalwood is comforting and the vanilla ties everything together in a spiced sweetness. Curiously, at first it smells like banana bubblegum, childish and fun. It has a strong trail and lasts 12 hours. Ideal all year round, though I’ve used it more in spring and summer; in winter it would be glorious.
It may have detractors because of the Kim Kardashian name, but it’s worth giving it a chance and forgetting the fame. It delivers a delightful surprise. A floral aroma dominated by innocent, romantic Nardos, with gardenia and jasmine adding creaminess, while the sandalwood is comforting. I’ve never felt so much tonka bean; it unites everything in a vanilla-spiced sweetness from start to finish. To me, it smells like banana bubblegum at first – curious, childish and fun. Sillage is moderate to heavy, with real presence. It lasts twelve hours; I use it all year, especially in spring and summer, but in cold climates I think it would be glorious.
Stunning – it smells like Absolute Nardos, that’s what I notice most. The longevity is prodigious. I recommend it; it has pleasantly surprised me.
I’ll sum it up in one word: STUNNING. When I bought it, it was more than I expected. I own several Kim Kardashian perfumes, but this is the best. It’s rich, fun and yet elegant. Longevity is very acceptable. Highly recommended.
On my skin, only the gardenia prevails; the other notes disperse. But I like it – it’s very affordable and long-lasting.
Kim Kardashian left me absolutely floored! In the shop, I thought ‘exquisite’ and took it straight away. It’s feminine, elegant and very seductive. On my skin it lasts eight hours, but if I use the body wash and body lotion with the perfume, it goes up to twelve. Bright, sweet and intoxicating notes: opens with a rich tangerine, honeysuckle, lemon and orange blossom; the heart is pink jasmine, tuberose, gardenia and spices; a warm base of tonka, jacaranda, vanilla, musk and creamy sandalwood – a prodigious harmony. It’s not just for daywear; the sandalwood gives it sophistication for evening. I wear it to weddings and nights out – my husband and friends love it. It has nothing to envy from the high-end brands, it has great projection and is suitable all year round. Applause to Claude Dir, the talent behind this black bottle with rose-gold accents.
Top longevity and sillage with character and elegance. After just five hours, it was already dominating my skin with a powerful, irresistible gardenia note.
An elegant, seductive and intoxicating fragrance, a bouquet of white flowers. It surpasses Tease by Paris Hilton. Neroli and jasmine dominate, creating something dense, rounded and sweet that intoxicates you. Good trail and medium longevity (6-7 hours). I see it more for cold weather. Scent 9/10, longevity 8/10, trail 8/10, value for money 8/10, versatility 8/10. Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
Kim Kardashian is elegant, seductive, and intoxicating, a bouquet of white flowers. It resembles Paris Hilton’s Tease quite a bit, although Kim outshines it. Above all, it smells of neroli and jasmine. It’s somewhat linear, dense, and rounded, highlighting the sweetness of the neroli which makes it intoxicating. Good trail and intermediate longevity, around six to seven hours on my skin. In my opinion, it’s more suited to cold weather. Scent 9/10, Longevity 8/10, Projection 8/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.
I had high expectations because it was hard to get hold of here. Unfortunately, on my skin it smells very strongly of catalogue and I only detect the gardenias. A pity; I had to give it away.
I had high expectations as it wasn’t available in my country and I finally managed to get it. Unfortunately, on me, it smells like a very strong catalogue perfume, and I only detect the gardenias. A shame; I had to give it away.
I didn’t have many expectations; I imagined it as a typical sweet celebrity scent. It put a lump in my throat; thanks to this, I’ve started to love white florals. I can imagine Kim wearing it. It’s in my top three favourites of all time. I would buy it again and again without thinking twice. I would bathe in it.
I didn’t have many expectations; I thought it would be a typical sweet celebrity scent. It put a spring in my step and thanks to it, I started to love white florals. I can imagine Kim wearing it. It’s in my top three all-time favourites. I would buy it over and over again without thinking, I’d bathe in it.
Neither here nor there; a disappointing blind buy. That said, it is long-lasting, perfectly six hours. It seems identical to Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori. It doesn’t have that neroli found in Fracas or Carnal Flower.
I’m surprised, but for the better. It has good projection and longevity. I compared it wrist to wrist with Gucci Nettare Di Fiori, which lasts me nothing (saying one to three hours would be generous). In contrast, the Kim version lasts five to six hours on skin, which is perfect. If I have to be honest, the Kim version is more linear and lacks the evolution of the Gucci.
Normally I don’t like celebrity fragrances, but this one surprised me, albeit with mixed feelings. It seems exquisite, feminine, and the neroli comes out beautifully and creamy. The downside is that the longevity and projection are very poor. Given it’s a budget brand, it’s understandable, but it’s a pity because with better performance it would be a great fragrance. It reminds me of the classic Carolina Herrera, which I adore, but here in a watered-down version.
A pleasant surprise when bought blindly. On my skin, it smells different from Gucci Nettare Di Fiori. It’s a white floral with neroli, gardenias, and jasmine, with touches of sandalwood and musk that make it very feminine and elegant; excellent for any season, especially spring. The trail reaches two metres, lasts over seven hours on skin, and has an excellent price. As time passes, it develops more, causing me great well-being. Without a doubt, it can be bought blindly if you like this olfactive family.
I bought it blindly based on good reviews and was utterly disappointed. It smells very synthetic and has nothing to do with Gucci Bloom; the neroli here feels like cheap market stuff, whereas Gucci’s comes from Mexico. On my skin, it lasts less than two hours. I’m very let down. BEWARE of Notino reviews; don’t trust them; they delete the negative ones to sell more. These are honest opinions, and I’m sure others will have the same experience.
It’s a creamy floral, perfect for cold weather, but I find it cloying. It’s elegant, though not everyone will like it. The neroli is very prominent.
Smells almost identical to Carolina Herrera.
