It’s simply a feminine perfume, recommended for a bride! It’s white, creamy, delicate, and super long-lasting; with a little quantity you get a delicate but perceptible trail. Highly recommended, especially if you like Mugler’s Alien. Combined… oh my god, something else.
An exquisite neroli, creamy, pure and sweet without being cloying, with a touch of jasmine. I thought I hated nerolis because I had only tried cheap synthetics, like shop air fresheners that give you a headache. Discovering this perfume changed my opinion and now I love this note. What does Narcotic V smell like? Neroli, neroli, and neroli. If you don’t like it, it’s not for you. But watch out, it’s a clean, creamy neroli, slightly green, less carnal than Carnal Flower and less potent than a Fracas. If you don’t have access to this, I’d say it’s similar to Profumo di Fiori’s Yellow Bloom, but without the ylang-ylang, much cleaner and more realistic. While Bloom is a yellow floral, this is clearly white. They also say it smells like Armani’s My Way or Alien, but they’d like to. Not a chance. It’s animalic but curious, clean and sexy. Intoxicating. I don’t notice the spicy notes much. Let’s not deceive ourselves, it’s expensive; the price of 30ml is outrageous and borders on immoral, but oh friend, it’s a delicate, feminine, fine, and divine perfume. An elegant bouquet of clean nerolis. Ideal for a date, a wedding, or a special summer night…
It arrived today and I loved it; I bought it blindly with a little fear regarding the neroli note which is not my strong suit. At first, upon applying it to my wrist, it was a disappointment: I only felt neroli and jasmine at full strength… but over time, as the intensity lowered, I fell in love so much I can’t stop smelling it. What a fine, delicate, and feminine aroma. I adore it; moreover, it has lasted 6 hours with very little quantity. It’s a great perfume! This wonder lasts over 12 hours on skin and on clothes for an eternity!!! 🖤
If there is a tender perfume in my collection, it is undoubtedly Narcotic Venus; when I first sprayed it, I felt a scent so sweet and floral, like a bride’s bouquet of white flowers, it made me feel warm and delicate; I bought it because it was the eve of my wedding and I was searching for that special fragrance; what a surprise, I loved it!! You perfectly smell the jasmine and the nerolis, the most real, natural nerolis, and the jasmine that my mother brings into the house; without a doubt a beauty, the best compliment my husband gave me at the altar while we were listening to the priest was that your flowers smell so good, and I replied: no love, it’s not the bouquet, it’s my perfume! 🙃 and he loved it.
I am not at all in agreement with the previous reviews. This smells like plain melon bubblegum. Have you smelled Fructis Hair Food shampoo? It smells like that. Nothing more.
Narcotic Venus is one of the perfumes I longed to own alongside Black Afgano and Pardon, and it must be said that it has surprised me the most due to its immense simplicity yet complexity regarding the neroli, which is the flower in which Alessandro Gualtieri presents his most hypnotic facet. With a white spicy floral profile, Narcotic Venus opens with a powerful and (very true to its name) narcotic note of incredibly well-developed, easily identifiable spicy neroli alongside jasmine and lily of the valley. However, in this perfume I can perceive many more ingredients than initially declared by Fragrantica, such as notes of narcissus, violet, and angelica, which at times remind me of Tom Ford’s Jonquille de Nuit (the latter focused entirely on the narcissus note); in this composition, the spices play a secondary role and accentuate the white flowers more. The perfume remains linear throughout its life but without failing to maximise the performance of the neroli with the other white flowers. The dry-down is where this perfume truly made me fall in love, as the jasmine begins to take centre stage alongside the neroli; added to this, the jasmine also gives the perfume a slightly creamy quality. The more I smell this perfume, the more nuances I find in it and the more I fall in love; I have tried several nerolis before, but none are so characteristically multifaceted as this. While the Nasomatto line is identified by having compositions more oriented towards a male audience, Narcotic V. is, from my point of view, an entirely feminine proposal. I would always wear this with dresses, as the handling of ingredients in this composition leads me to perceive it more for evening events, parties, romantic dates, and intimacy. It has been perfect for me to use in Spring, Autumn, and Winter, as in Summer the neroli note can be quite intoxicating to the nose. Of atomic longevity, I can still perceive it on me in the mornings and in my bed after sleeping; on my dresses, the scent has remained (and even stained the clothes) for days. Of high performance, take note before buying your little bottle that for the price (and 30ml of extrait) there may be other options within this perfume’s profile. (As a note, when I used this perfume for an evening party, I noticed a man couldn’t stop smelling me and I could tell because his breathing was too obvious; here is where I realised the true seductive power this perfume has). This is undoubtedly one of the most seductive and purposeful perfumes I have smelled with the neroli note and one of my signature perfumes for going out at night.
Upon smelling Narcotic Venus, I stepped back 20 years and it brought to mind traditional Carolina Herrera; it’s an intoxicating and very feminine perfume. It’s neroli at dawn in its full splendour.
Over time, colours fade, not just those of the sight but also those of the feelings. Walking through the old quarter is like stepping into a dream where the sun and memories strike you all at once, revealing a tranquil sky and a flowing river. My city is a contrast between earth and hill, gothic and modern, colour and austerity. While my companion is drenched in Narcotic Venus, this spicy-floral fragrance with a heavy touch of neroli reminds me of pink; it’s fiercely feminine, vintage yet modern at the same time. It doesn’t evolve, only changes volume over time. For those who love the classics, it’s a total attraction. It opens almost mature, full of flowers, unlike old constructions. The longevity is moderate; I expected more for an extrait, but it smells wonderful on a woman’s skin, potent indoors. It’s eccentric and smells great for the wardrobe; it’s not for everyone, but if you like neroli in generous doses, give it a try.
The most romantic, sweet, and natural neroli, to wear as a bride. More than Narcotic V, it should be called Narcotic Neroli. It envelops everything and floods everything. I imagine a woman at a business meeting with everyone hypnotised by the perfume, nodding to her proposals. A bride’s perfume, but also a boss’s perfume: high heels, straight skirt, white blouse, and black glasses. Longevity and trail are enormous; I expected no less for that price. It’s a gem, fiercely feminine.
The most romantic neroli, the sweetest, the most natural, to dress as a bride. More than Narcotic V, it should be called Narcotic Neroli. It envelops everything, floods everything. I imagine a woman at a business meeting with everyone around her narcotised by the perfume, rather hypnotised, nodding to all her proposals. Bridal perfume, but also boss perfume. Heels, straight skirt, white blouse and black glasses. Longevity and trail are enormous; I didn’t expect less for that price. It’s a gem, outrageously feminine.
Very balanced white flowers. Despite not mentioning anything sweet, it feels like it is; slightly sweet neroli and jasmine that evoke romance. On my skin it’s very long-lasting, hours and hours, with a moderate to high trail; it always feels like it’s moving with me. A perfume that a bride could wear on such a special day. Definitely its scent is narcotic.
Chapter 9 for tuberose lovers: Narcotic V. is like a piece of contemporary art in motion. Alessandro Gualtieri has sculpted this soliflore with mastery, smoothing out the rough edges to create a narcotic yet potent, luminous, light, almost ethereal neroli, with a soapy touch that sets it apart from the dense, creamy nardos that can sometimes be overwhelming. These nardos from NV seem freshly cut, fresh, with droplets of dew still on the petals. It is less green and exotic than Carnal Flower, and less indolic and sweet than the legendary Fracas. I see it on the skin of someone with impeccable, minimalist, polished style, walking along a rooftop in Manhattan while the city shines at their feet, in any season. A discreet, vibrant, captivating luxury. 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎

Narcotic Venus. One has to acknowledge that Gualtieri or his marketing team know how to name things. The name seems great for a feminine perfume, with tuberose and jasmine. With these floral notes and some well-played musks, it offers a very pleasant and attractive aroma. I’d say it’s my favourite among women’s perfumes. The opening has a good explosion, without being out of control like other times with Gualtieri, of benzyl acetate and musks from the start, which fades away little by little leaving a bit more trail in the dry-down. I like it, but I think there are more ‘narcotic’ jasmines and tuberoses for any Venus. Cheers.
What a lovely jasmine, please.
With this Narcotic Venus I’m emboldened to write my first review. It seems delicious, elegant and addictive: a paradox of luminosity and almost obscene animality. It’s a jewel. It opens with a very potent neroli, like rubbing against a bouquet and crushing the petals against the skin. As it dries, the scent lasts for quite a few hours, especially in the hair. That initial hit of neroli relaxes and the animal side comes out; it gives the sensation that the perfume is beating and breathing, with intense bursts throughout the day. Super sexy and extremely elegant. Tremendously addictive.
With this Narcotic Venus, I’ve mustered the courage to write my first review. It seems a delicious, elegant, and addictive perfume: a paradox of luminosity and almost obscene animality. A jewel. It opens with an incredibly potent neroli, almost like rubbing against a bunch of nardos and crushing the petals against the skin. As it dries, the scent lingers for quite some time (especially noticeable in the hair). That initial explosive neroli relaxes a bit, and the animal side emerges. It gives the impression that the perfume beats and breathes, occasionally offering intense bursts again. Super sexy yet incredibly elegant. Tremendously addictive.
I tried this wonder of white flowers and I liked it very much. It’s a perfect combination of neroli and jasmine. The jasmine is very present and persistent. I would like the neroli to be a bit more potent, but it’s an excellent perfume with impressive quality. Fine, sexy and elegant. I loved it 🙂

I would like the neroli to be a bit more potent, but it is really an excellent perfume with impressive quality. Subtle, sexy, elegant. I liked it very much 🙂
Narcotic Venus by Nasomatto is a masterpiece of white florals. It stands out for its sensuality and elegance, offering something different from the usual. There’s no doubt that NO ONE will be indifferent to it. The blend of neroli, jasmine and lily of the valley with an animal touch makes it magical and incomparable. Each note intertwines to create a unique experience. Moreover, its longevity is wonderful; it lasts all day, recommended for any lover of florals seeking something exquisite.
I bought it blind and I’m so glad I did. Oh, what a beauty. I’m a lover of white flowers and this is the best. Beautiful flowers, just right, with no acidity whatsoever. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist.
I love it; it’s a subtle, loving fragrance. Imagine a bouquet of white flowers walking down the aisle on a sunny day in Italy. Jasmine and harmony, nothing cloying. I want to wear it every day; it’s a wonder. The only drawback is that it doesn’t leave a trail on my skin, which detracts slightly from its value.
