Descripción
58 Avenue Montaigne pour Homme by S.T. Dupont is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2012, this composition was created by nose Nathalie Feisthauer. Its top notes of clementine, cardamom, bergamot and grapefruit offer a citrusy and spicy opening. The heart reveals sage, pepper and marjoram, adding depth and warmth. Finally, the base notes settle with elegant ambergris, cashmere wood, sandalwood and vetiver, closing the olfactory pyramid with robust and sophisticated longevity.

It generates rejection for two simple reasons: longevity and sillage. The scent is not poorly crafted, even seeming original to me, though very synthetic. Unfortunately, it lasts only two hours on the skin when applied generously, and if you wear it on your wrist and then wash your hands, it disappears completely. They forgot the fixative.
It turns people off for two simple reasons: longevity and sillage. The scent isn’t poorly crafted; in fact, I found it original, though very synthetic. Unfortunately, it lasts only two hours on the skin even when applied generously, and if you wear it on your wrist and then wash your hands, it disappears completely. They forgot about the fixative.
A curious fragrance by Simon Tissot Dupont: it opens with a luxurious sweet and fruity citrus combo that explodes within 10 minutes, then mutates into a spicy note. In the heart, you can detect a soft sage with mint. The dry down shines with ambergris, woods, and a sweet touch. Its performance is refined across all stages; after the initial burst, it becomes apolite, unsurprising, with a masculine and gentlemanly image. Projection is moderate to low, ideal for dinners or lunches as it isn’t intrusive. Two sprays are enough for personal enjoyment, perceptible by close contact up to 50 cm. It lasts five hours, and if you want more potency, you can overapply without issue. I’d define it as soft: citrus at the start, fresh, predominantly ambered, spicy (fruity, sweet, and woody). It reminds me of James Bond 007.
