Smells generic; I expected more from Lagerfeld… Soft trail, minimal longevity, and at a high price for what the fragrance truly is…
I find it hard to contradict my esteemed Kirtash, because he is right, but… I cannot say I dislike it; on the contrary, that blend of lavender and mandarin is delicious to me. Generic yes, unpleasant no. For a youthful target (not juvenile), aged 20 to 40. Ideal for spring evenings.
At first, I sensed violet, bergamot and mandarin; to me, a soft lavender. After two hours, it settles into bergamot and violet, recalling fragrances like Zegna Uomo, which is why it feels generic. After five hours, amber and sandalwood emerge, but the violet lingers. By seven hours, sandalwood dominates and the finish fades away. The trail was moderate to weak; it lasted over twelve hours, but the last four were skin-only. It seems suited for intermediate seasons due to its fresh and oriental notes. It is not bad, but I think Karl Lagerfeld erred by being too uninnovative when relaunching his line; he could have dared something more, but settled for a safe yet boring bet that doesn’t distinguish him from many others.
It seems similar to Zegna Uomo, only that the Uomo is more potent and performs better. It is not bad, but not a great discovery either; it could have been a great perfume if it had struck a balance. The truth is, I would stick with Zegna Uomo, which is very similar and offers much better performance.
It means nothing to me. I also bought Paradise Bay at a good price and it doesn’t hook me either; generic scent, poor trail and longevity
A perfume that tells me nothing; I also bought the Paradise Bay variant for the price and it tells me nothing too. Generic smell, poor trail and longevity.
From Lagerfeld, I have a more mass-market idea than before; it’s far from a Classic or Photo. Nothing new, it’s a good fragrance, but it gets confused with similar ones
I have an impression of Lagerfeld that aligns with mass-market proposals of recent years; it is far from a Classic or Photo. Nothing new, it is a good fragrance, but it can easily be confused with similar ones.
Very good scent, reminiscent of YSL L’Homme Libre; super fresh, revitalising and comforting. Longevity is short, about two hours, then it stays close to the skin, but at such a low price there is no problem in reapplying.
It is the perfect example of a generic men’s fragrance: a trendy blend with poor longevity and projection, entirely dispensable.
