Smells like soap, strong yet pleasant, fitting the clean scent profile perfectly. The longevity is good, especially on clothes, where the trail is potent even though the aroma remains discreet. For me, it’s a blend of Chanel No. 5 (for the yellow floral notes) and Prada Infusion d’Homme (for the soapy aspect), but here the soap is stronger and less floral. Ideal for everyday wear, unisex, and at €13, it’s absolutely worth it. Scent: 7, Longevity: 9, Sillage: 8, Versatility: 9, Value for money: 10, Overall: 8.
Pure, hard soap, almost the scent of the original Dove bar, but with immense potency. I was looking for something clean and soapy, but this is too much for me; I got bored after a week. If you want to smell like soap all day because it lasts forever, don’t hesitate to buy it.
Bought it based on the reviews, and on smelling it, I thought it was identical to Arba Wardat and Sonia by Rasasi, just less feminine. It has that soapy oriental base that isn’t noticeable in French scents; here it smells oily, something suffocating that takes away the freshness. Once dry, it smells like Dove soap and a bit talcum-like. Honestly, it has nothing to do with Chanel No. 5, not even like Van Cleef’s First, which does smell like Dove soap with Chanel. This is another world. It lasts all day, but that oily and dense sensation, far from what CLEAN gives, is what doesn’t convince me.
I have tried it again and I notice that if I spray it in the air and walk underneath, it smells less suffocating and is a pleasant bar soap. My husband says I smell like a chemist’s shop, which I did not like, but it could be. Anyway, to smell like a little soap, it is not bad.
Bought it based on the reviews, but on smelling it, I thought it was identical to Arba Wardat and Sonia by Rasasi, just less feminine. It has that soapy oriental base that French perfumes lack; it smells oily, as if it’s missing oxygen and freshness, quite suffocating. Once dry, it reminds me of Dove soap and a bit of talcum powder. Honestly, it has nothing to do with Chanel No. 5; it’s a different world altogether, unlike Van Cleef’s First, which does smell like Dove soap with Chanel. It lasts all day, but that dense, oily sensation, very characteristic of orientals, is overwhelming and takes away from the cleanliness CLEAN offers.
Agreeing that it smells like Dove soap at maximum expression (not at all like a chemist’s shop). I would say it is mixed with a body cream like Nivea. It is a strong mix of both. To smell clean and freshly showered. Soap in a tube! But it is not for mixing with citrus or mentholated fragrances; it is soap and more soap, just as it is. Hope this helps.
I completely agree: it smells like Dove soap at its finest, nothing like a chemist’s shop. It’s as if they mixed it with a Nivea body cream; a powerful blend of both. It’s perfect for smelling clean and freshly showered, truly soap through and through! But be warned: it’s not for mixing with fresh, citrus, or mentholated fragrances. It’s just strong soap and body cream, that simple.
After using it on a winter afternoon walk, I say it’s for ‘giving the impression’ of being clean, with all that implies. It has an aura of approachability, of knowing how to be present without being loud, yet with presence. It’s cheap and very, very long-lasting. Wearing it gives the comfort of knowing you are well-groomed. I’m convinced that whoever smells it is looking for the presence of that wearer (I’m not saying anything sexual or sentimental, though it could be).

I tried it today and it is true that it reminds me of the Dove soap bars from the 80s and 90s, when they really smelled good. It is a pleasant clean, soapy scent. It is not overwhelming or cloying; the first half-hour is strong, but then it settles down and becomes very wearable, without being annoying. A man can wear it without issue; the soapy scent is unisex.
80s and 90s bar soap. For €10, it is worth having in your collection. It lasts a very long time, you can tell, and creates a rich aura. If you like soapy fragrances, do not hesitate.
Totally unisex and suitable for almost any occasion, though better for daytime. Afshan is a soapy explosion from the start, with Ylang-Ylang and florals that maintain that unisex touch. I agree it smells like a mix of bar soap, Dove, and an old-fashioned barbershop, but with great power and longevity. It is fairly linear but well-constructed. Its best assets are longevity, projection, and price. PS: Try it before buying, because although it is versatile, its potent scent can be monotonous for some.
I fully agree with the previous reviews: it’s unisex, linear, and very soapy, similar to Dove. It reminds me a lot of Yves Rocher’s Clea, but with more style and a more wearable quality, mixed with Chanel No. 5. The sillage is moderate to noticeable and lasts around 8-9 hours. It’s an all-rounder with excellent value for money. Scent: 6.5/10, Longevity: 8.5/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value for money: 8/10, Packaging: 3/10. Versatility: 7.5/10. I would buy it again, probably yes.
Agreeing with the previous reviews. Unisex, linear, and very soapy, like Dove. It reminds me of Yves Rocher’s Clea but more wearable, with a touch of Chanel No. 5. Notable sillage and lasts 8-9 hours. It is an all-rounder with excellent value for money. Note: the packaging is a 3/10, but I would buy it again.
I bought it blindly based on the reviews and it is exactly as described: pure liquid soap. The opening is strong, but within 20 minutes it softens and stops being harsh. It smells just like the rose soap bar I used in Egypt. It is linear, perhaps a bit boring, but it has great sillage and longevity. Ideal for the bank, the office, or taking the children to school.
This is a marvel. If it came in a different bottle and cost €150 under a niche brand, everyone would talk about the genius of smelling like soap all day. The longevity is top-notch, and that immaculate clean scent doesn’t tire at all.

Total joy. It leaves me smelling like fresh soap and clean all day long. It clings to the skin like few others and the performance is brutal. A fantastic fragrance at a price that has no rival.
Well… I must say it’s probably the discordant note in the reviews or my nose isn’t made for these aromas. I don’t detect any of the Dove soap smell, which coincidentally is the shower gel I use and I’m amazed by. What I perceive is soap smell, yes, but old, from many years ago, perhaps with something rancid. The sensation it gives me is like when you were small and a grandfather hugged you: clean old grandfather smell. My experience has been catastrophic; if anyone wants it, I’ll sell it cheap, it has exactly two sprays left. As for longevity, I sprayed it once on each side of my neck, and after more than 12 hours, it smelled and projected to the point of being overwhelming and boring; even after showering and putting on another fresh fragrance, my wife said that underneath that second scent, this asphahan was still detectable. Bestial projection, clearly. Summary: Longevity over 12 hours on my skin, very potent projection minimum 4-6 hours. Incredible price for 100ml. Let no one misunderstand, it’s a good fragrance, these Rasasi ones do things well, it just absolutely doesn’t suit me. If you like the smell of your grandfather and smelling as if you just came out of a geriatric garden, it’s your fragrance.
Well… I must say it is probably the discordant note. I do not detect the Dove soap smell, which is my shower gel and blows my mind. I do smell soap, but old-fashioned, from many years ago, perhaps with a slightly musty touch. The sensation is like when a grandfather hugs you: clean but old. My experience has been catastrophic; if anyone wants it, I will sell it cheap, it has exactly two sprays. The longevity is over 12 hours on my skin and the projection is bestial for a minimum of 4-6 hours, overwhelming even after showering and applying another fresh fragrance; my wife said it could still be felt. Incredible price for 100ml. Let no one misunderstand, it is a good fragrance, Rasasi does things well, simply I do not like it at all. If you like smelling like your grandfather or the garden of a nursing home, it is your fragrance.
This perfume is curious and has made me smile. Anyone who was a child in the 70s or early 80s remembers the home shower that was fashionable out of necessity. Mum would put a pot of water on, take out a white enamel bath, and use a perfumed soap for special occasions, not the strong yellow one for laundry. I would soap myself up as if there were no tomorrow until the water cooled, a spa-like experience, clean and perfumed. Afshan is a hymn to soap; someone who has gone through that childhood created it. It is monolithic, uncompromising, as if you were showering without taking your clothes off, leaving a trail of exaggerated cleanliness. Looking at the notes and smelling it, I don’t think all of them are there, but I love cleaning scents. The soapy note is very thick, mitigated only by flowers in the background, projecting enormously for about two hours. I don’t know if I would wear it to work, perhaps in a spice shop without colleagues. Not in the gym either, unless you are a champion of desert excavation. In enclosed spaces, it could cause mass fainting if it is not liked. A love it or hate it perfume, but if you are looking for something powerful that combines flowers, soap, and spices, try it with caution.
Two requirements to enjoy it: you must like the smell of soap and you must like that it projects a lot. The note pyramid is useless; it smells like that. And leaning towards classic, saving distances, the comparison with a chypre like Arabian Woods isn’t far-fetched. The price helps, but it hasn’t quite convinced me; I doubt many people will dislike it, but there’s something missing. Scent: 5.4, Projection: 8.5, Longevity: 8, Originality: 3.6, Recommended: Low.

Well, it smells like the blue Deliplus fabric softener from Mercadona, full stop.
This smells exactly like Deliplús fabric softener from Mercadona, the blue one. No more, no less.
What a blunder. At 5:30 I tested a spray on my hand: industrial soap smell. At 6:30 I showered with the intention of smelling like soap. Upon leaving, at 7:30, I applied Polo Blue EDP before going to work. It is 1:22 am and it still smells on my hand, overpowering Polo Blue. It is not a pleasant soap for me, so I give it a pass to see if anyone else enjoys it.
I also bought it blindly due to its reputation for being potent. On my skin, that has not been the case. It has good performance, but nothing spectacular. I imagine they have already tweaked the formula. As for the fragrance, yes, it smells like soap, even reminiscent of Dove with a bit of imagination. I don’t know why, but it hasn’t won me over.
Clean aroma, very strong at first (bordering on classic chemist’s shop soap)… perfect for a long day with lots of movement or effort, such as helping with a move or carrying boxes in a vinyl shop and wanting to arrive smelling clean. In that case, yes!
I bought it out of curiosity regarding its reputation for smelling like a chemist’s shop soap, that ‘grandma perfume’ so many detest, and what a wonder. I see nothing oriental; it seems more like an aldehydic floral. It reminds me of Santa Maria Novella’s Melograno, halfway between Fougère and Calèche. The opening is strong and strident, typical of cheap Arab fragrances, but then it settles into a soapy floral that smells like a bar of yellow flowers. Excellent longevity (I applied it at 9 and it was still there at midnight) and good projection for the first two hours. PD: almost identical to Isa by Ulric de Varens.
It smells exactly like Dove soap: intense and sharp. Ideal for days of hard work or movement, as suggested in another review. I like it, but a single spray is enough if you plan to layer.
It is the epitome of classic white bar soap. I only detect faint musky floral notes, perhaps a hint of pink, but it is not purely floral. I’m not sure if they’ve reformulated it, but on my skin it works brilliantly; in winter, it smells spectacular and everyone compliments it. After a few hours, it smells like a luxury body cream. I bought it comparing it to Chanel No. 5, but they do not smell alike. It is comforting and a safe haven for aldehyde lovers (ironically, undeclared).
