Descripción
Gold Woman by Amouage is a floral aldehydic fragrance for women. Launched in 1983, this composition was created by perfumer Guy Robert. Upon release, the scent unfolds with valley lily, rose and incense; the heart reveals incense, jasmine, lily root, myrrh and labdanum; while the base settles on agarwood, musk, sandalwood, amber, cedar, oakmoss, ambergris and patchouli.

I’m in love with this perfume… I bought it in the UAE, the dome-shaped bottle is a work of art. It cost a fortune back then but was worth every penny; I keep the bottle because it’s a marvel. The cap still smells even after all this time… I’d love to have it again…
To my nose, the incense overpowers everything else. It sounds far too dense, dark and closed-in; I tried it right to the end but it just wasn’t possible for me. Definitely not for me.
For my nose, the incense overpowers all the other notes. It feels too dense, dark, and closed off; I try to wear it until the end, but it’s simply impossible. Definitely not for me.
I managed to find an Aromaniacs equivalent as the original has become too expensive for me. It’s certainly a fragrance that lasts for hours, but I don’t think it suits me; I believe it’s aimed at women over 40.
I come looking for reviews of this perfume to decide whether to buy it or not, and I find reviews of clones… girls, please have at least a little bit of shame…
It smells of oriental talc, it is delicious and very soft.
Totally animalic. It is super sensual, creamy and lactonic. It has excellent longevity. By the way, regarding that comment by Lucianasosa, I will tell you that you can leave your opinion without insulting anyone; that shows a lack of education. I think it is perfectly fine for someone who has tried an equivalent, some identical to the original, to leave their opinion. I do not know what bothers you, buy yourself the original, darling, and draw your own conclusions.
There are people who cannot afford expensive perfumes and opt to buy equivalents, inspirations, or clones, call them what you will. From my point of view, it is just as dignified and in no way shameful to write a review of an equivalent (provided you state that it is one) as writing about the original. There are very well-executed equivalents that are worth the price. With all due respect and without offending anyone. ♥️
Gold Woman is a delight, a first-quality sweet pea with a sprig of roses. It has a creamy, soapy opening that reminds me very much of the current Lanvin Arpège, though it takes a different path as it dries down. It has good longevity and I see it as ideal for evening wear and autumn.
