Aigner Black for Men is a dark, heavy scent at first that exudes class. The spices are clear, paired with very balanced leather and delicate mint. It left a good impression: masculine, elegantly retro yet modern at the same time. A refined approach that pleasantly stimulates the senses. The longevity is sufficient and the trail is soft-medium if you apply a little more. Something different from the usual, which is much appreciated.
It resembles Armani Code Ultimate, though it’s not identical; they share the same vibe and character. The leather, orange, tonka bean, and vanilla are very prominent, with a fresh touch of pine and mint. It’s very well balanced; Aigner is like Lalique: affordable yet high quality. Rumour has it it’s discontinued, but it’s easily available at Rossmann in Germany. A real hidden gem.
