What a beauty! Like with Dame de Noir, I believe it belongs to the same family as Kenzo Flower Oriental, but less spiritual and more misty. It starts lactonic and spicy, as if someone had scattered pepper in a dense mist. Then heather takes control, giving it a dry and wild air, with that lovely hint of wet broom. At the end, it’s a classic woody floral musk with very soft warm and amber notes against others that are more balsamic due to the rose and patchouli, which don’t feel separate. It was a blind gift and, although it’s not my style, I love its delicacy. It reminds me of Deborah Turbeville photos: misty, serene, melancholic, natural girls in poses of careless indifference. It captures Clinique’s philosophy: effortless elegance, simple, seductive, and natural, without artifice but well-made, warm and familiar. It could be what Elizabeth Taylor would wear in Giant: delicate yet wild, rugged. It goes perfectly on men, with that touch of old hygiene products and an indefinite image of the American Midwest, but without being outdated, very current. Excellent longevity.

It opens lactonic and spicy, like a mist in which someone dropped pepper. Then heather takes over, giving it a dry and wild air, with a lovely hint of wet broom. Finally, it’s a classic woody floral musk, with soft warm and amber notes against others that are more balsamic due to the rose and patchouli, which I don’t notice separately. Today I treated myself and I couldn’t be more delighted. When I thought it was impossible, I believe I have found my personal fragrance. I’ve been sniffing this delicious aroma all day with great greed, and it doesn’t smell like a dessert or anything. Seeing the bottle, incredibly elegant and beautiful, one thinks of delicate white flowers and a light summer perfume, but it’s not that. This delight smells like a forest in winter, like a white witch’s cabin full of spices, bunches hanging from the ceiling, and logs in the fireplace. It smells delicate and wild, undomesticated, like a woman of pure heart moving through that forest as if it were hers, while the wind ruffles her hair and fills it with flowers. I don’t know how to describe it better. I am fascinated, regretting not having bought the 100 ml instead of the 50 ml… and this counting that I never finish any bottle, so I always buy 30 ml. It seemed impossible, but I think my search has ended. I couldn’t be more delighted, and although it’s subjective, I recommend testing it before buying, especially now, because Aromatics in White, which seems like a clean potion with a dark hint, doesn’t follow current trends, won’t be in the bestsellers, and it’s easy for most people not to like it.

I am fascinated and regret not having bought the 100 ml version, although I never quite finish a bottle and always buy 30 ml. It seemed impossible, but my search has ended. • It’s the only one I dared to buy without testing it first. Upon applying it, I knew it would be my favourite for a long time. It’s a wet, clean, and bright rose, with a lot of personality. It blends with the scent of a forest undergrowth wet with mist or fine rain. It’s a bold, woody, and mysterious scent that gives me serenity. I identify with it completely.

  • It’s the only perfume I bought without testing it several times on my skin. As soon as they applied it to me, I knew it was going to be my perfume for a long time. It’s a wet and aromatic rose, clean, bright, and with personality. The rose note blends with a scent of forest undergrowth wet with mist or fine rain. It’s a bold, woody, and slightly mysterious scent that brings me serenity. I identify completely with it.

What a beauty! Aromatics In White is a crisp rose, spiced, with an overload of clean musk, accompanied by a considerable good touch of patchouli that I am very much in love with. I know the rose, musk, and patchouli combo is very trite, but this one is truly special. I suppose that, as a less commercial jewel, it is about to be discontinued just like its sister Aromatics in Black, as I see both at ridiculous prices with many discounts. So grab both while you can! They are beautiful potions. It won’t attract everyone; you must appreciate the patchouli and its slightly masculine scent. This composition is terribly sensual, yet so clean it evokes the most expensive soap ever created. Super comforting, ideal for winter and autumn. It has excellent longevity, a solid eight hours easily, and on clothes… until you get bored. It’s an oriental chypre skillfully blended to attract the young, but I think it’s for trained noses, although it’s not my case. Still, it’s gorgeous and mystical. It would be the perfect elixir for a witch in Antarctica who cares for wildlife, has been suffering for centuries over a scumbag who broke her heart, but finds the strength every morning to fight climate change.

What a beauty. Aromatics In White is a crisp rose, spiced, with an excess of clean musk, alongside a good dose of patchouli that has me completely hooked. I know the rose, musk, and patchouli combo is very common, but this… is truly special. As a less commercial jewel, I believe it is heading towards discontinuation just like its sister, Aromatics in Black, as I see both dropping in price with heavy discounts. So you know what to do: grab both while you can! What two beautiful potions to own. Aromatics In White isn’t the kind of perfume that will appeal to everyone; you must appreciate the patchouli and its slightly masculine scent. I find this blend (rose, musk, patchouli) terribly sensual, yet so clean it reminds me of the most expensive soap ever created. Super comforting and more suited for winter and autumn. Aromatics In White has excellent longevity, a solid eight hours easily, and on clothes… until you get bored. It’s a skillfully blended oriental chypre aimed at attracting the masses, although I think it’s for trained noses to appreciate this beautiful potion (which isn’t my case), but the clear thing is that, although it’s not the quintessential Tom Ford originality, I find it gorgeous and mystical. Aromatics In White would be the perfect elixir for a witch living in Antarctica, caring for wildlife, and although she’s been suffering from heartbreak for centuries due to a scumbag who broke her heart, she finds the strength every morning to fight the melting caused by climate change.

  • Another disappointment, not quite as brutal as Aromatics in Black, but a let-down in the end. Unlike its black sibling, which bears no resemblance to the Elixir other than its intensity, this one does share a family resemblance: softer, more powdery, less monstrous. It’s not unpleasant, but once it dries down, it reminds me of old-fashioned talcum powder and my boyfriend at the craft shops. By the way, it’s deceptive; although it seems to fade quickly at first, it lasts for ages.

  • It smells of expensive unisex soap, of cleanliness… I expected it to be more patchouly and feminine. It doesn’t disgust me but doesn’t enchant me… moderate longevity and trail.

Male touch? Soap? I don’t know… to me it’s a dusty rose loaded with amber and patchouli. Contemporary but with retro reminiscences. A velvety, dark rose; the polished white bottle doesn’t match the scent. I was looking for something a bit more boozy and less amber than Miss Dior Le Parfum, where the rose disappears quickly. Spiritually it’s very Narciso Rodríguez. Like Fleur Musc but without that runaway peony, darker and softer. Perfect for autumn and winter, day and night. Although I wear it in summer, ignoring the danger of suffocating. Its slightly talcum touch allows me to use it even in dry heat.

Powdery touch? Soap? I don’t know… for me it’s a dusty rose loaded with amber and patchouli. Contemporary but with retro reminiscences. A velvety and dark rose; the white and polished bottle fits nothing with the scent. I discovered it looking for something more boozy and less amber than Miss Dior Le Parfum, where I notice the rose disappears very quickly. As they have said well, spiritually it is very Narciso Rodriguez. Like Fleur Musc but without that runaway peony, much darker and softer. Perfect for autumn and winter, day and night. • I own Aromatics in Black and adore it, but the White version was not my luck. I tested it on my dry, pale arms, and all that stuck was a brutal musk that completely overpowered the rose and violet. In the end, it left a scent halfway between musk and medicine that became overwhelming; we simply didn’t have good chemistry. It didn’t work on my skin, despite having beastly longevity: I impregnated a blotting paper and it lasted for days. I’m leaving this to warn that this isn’t a blind buy; the scent changes depending on the skin, and others might find it more floral and pleasant, or the musk isn’t as strident as in my case. I really wanted it to work on me 🙁

  • I own Aromatics in Black and I like it a lot. I wanted the White version, tested it on my skin before deciding, but it didn’t quite take. On my dry, pale skin, the only thing that stuck was a strong musk that overshadowed the rose and violet. It left me with a scent between musk and remedies that was overwhelming. We just didn’t have good chemistry. It didn’t work on my skin, but it has great longevity. I soaked a blotter and it lasted days. I’m leaving this to note that it’s not a blind buy; the scent varies on every skin, and I doubt it gives that floral and pleasant smell on others, or that the musk isn’t so brash as in my case. I wanted it to work for me 🙁

  • It’s one of those perfumes that change depending on who wears it or where you apply it. I always tested it on blotter and found it unpleasant, dusty, and dry. I didn’t understand the good reviews, but I decided to try it on skin and what a change. Suddenly, the amber, vanilla, and flowers come alive; it shines, becomes soapy, sweet, and cosy. It’s soft and delicate but lasts a long time. Very vintage, it has an old-world air (not bad, but something to keep in mind). Ripe, tender, and feminine.

Aromatics in White, like its brother Black, has a lot of personality and steers clear of current trends. It smells cosy, like a misty autumn, an open field with dry branches, wet broom, and wild roses wrapped in sweet vanilla, spiced with benzoin, warmed by amber, and soapy from the musk. It’s delicious and strange at the same time. I bought it blindly along with AIB due to my passion for Aromatics Elixir. On first try, it bewildered me; I didn’t understand the aromatic accord because the patchouli eclipsed everything. It lasts hours. As Ícara commented, it made me feel in craft stalls. I let it rest for weeks and it no longer smells of brash patchouli, but in just the right measure. I learned that, like wines, perfumes need to breathe. Between White and Black, I stick with Black. Would I buy AIW again? No; although it’s a rare and beautiful gem, it’s not for everyone.

  • I just bought it at a good price and it was an excellent purchase!!! It’s an amber accord over a warm, creamy musk, dusted with a dry white rose that gives that sensation. The fruity notes of the ripe rose aren’t noticeable, only the dusty florals. There’s a very measured herbal/camphorated patchouli, a base of resins, and a hint of vanilla. It’s classic and elegant, not youthful because nothing sparkles or is fruity. The trail is medium, not powerful but long-lasting. A creamy musk and rose elixir.

  • Sanza Perfu-mística

What a mysterious perfume with such a low price and excellent performance. It’s woody and resinous, giving the impression of being old-school, until it tricks you into thinking it’s vintage when it’s not quite that. The bottle is simple, in that elegant white shade, just what it projects: elegance and seriousness. It’s not one to buy blindly, but if you love dark patchouli in the style of Angel, you will adore this.

  • I bought it based on the reviews, but on my skin it smells like Avon’s Passion Talcs, haha. I gifted it to my mum and she thinks it’s divine. Perhaps my skin is thin and dry? I hoped it would smell like Narciso Rodríguez, but it smells more like a vintage perfume. She absolutely loves it.

  • LizzySpellman

I will always hate this perfume because it smells of rotten and bitter flowers. Although I must admit it has immense longevity and a good trail.

  • LizzySpellman

I’m taking this off hating it; it smells of bitter, rotten flowers. However, I must admit it lasts incredibly long and leaves a lovely trail.
