Descripción

Mugler Aura Eau de Toilette is a floral fruity fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by perfumer Olivier Cresp. Upon release, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant freshness with pear, hibiscus seeds, bergamot and lemon (sour lime). The heart reveals a harmony between green notes, rhubarb, jasmine and strawberry, while the base settles on Tahitian vanilla, iris root, musk and ambrette musk.

The Aura EDP hasn’t even been born and the EDT is already out. Blessed Jesus. Hunger to sell (perhaps the EDP didn’t have the expected success…). Judging by the notes, it doesn’t seem like anything in particular. And the omnipresent pear again. Well, I actually like the synthetic pear note.

  • It’s delicious! Very little to nothing to do with the original Aura. It feels like a bouquet of white lilies, white flowers with green stems, more pleasant and wearable than the Aura Eau de Parfum, a bit sweet but the green tone diminishes that. A rich green floral. The original smells like green bananas, more of a poisonous green, yes, very original and unique. This one is rich, better and floral; good longevity but poor projection, skin-level for 5 hours… afterwards a ghost. Its final face is a talcum-powdered flower. I loved it, despite being an EDT. Recommended only for Mugler and Aura fans, as it doesn’t project as much as the Eau de Parfums, and only compensates for those who feel Mugler owes them a debt with

  • I’ve had a right laugh! That’s what happens in these pandemic times. I bought it online and was blinded by its price of £60, as I’d always found it more expensive. Well, I took a chance and now I have the Eau de Toilette, not the perfume, hehe. What a strange fragrance, but it’s so refined, very green, slightly floral, a touch sweet and super exotic, a fine medicinal scent, nice if you like. You can tell the quality of the ingredients. Now I understand the comments, even though I have the Eau de Toilette; I would have preferred the perfume for sure, as it would have been sweeter. When I finish it, I’ll buy it again, somewhere in 2027 hehe, because it’s not very versatile. I’m keeping it for spring and summer. I can see myself wearing it with a long green jumpsuit with tropical leaf prints I own, with a fuchsia lipstick. Very exotic all round. I’ll wear it one night to go to sleep to see if I dream of jungles. It relaxes me a lot, it’s quite medicinal. Try it with a flis, because they don’t give it away. It has a strong opening, but once it dries it leaves a soft trail and lasts well; being an Eau de Toilette, about 4-5 hours, but on clothes it lasts a treat until you wash it. Very expensive for a cologne. Overall, I liked it for being so risky and different.

  • I bought this blind and with a little fear, and… what a delight. It’s fresh with a sweet touch, super versatile and refined; I doubt it will bother anyone, it’s zero-intrusive but the longevity is good. It makes me feel great. What a pity I didn’t know about it sooner. I love it.

  • I don’t recommend it. With the Aura EDP I already have everything; this offers nothing new: fruits that disappear, non-existent vanilla… Longevity 4/10, projection 3/10, originality 3/10. It’s a pity. I adore Mugler, but lately they’re making perfumes without character or magic for sensitive noses.

  • I received it two days ago from a friend who had just returned from a trip. I’ve been looking for the Aura EDP refill, and since she was travelling across Europe and Asia, I asked her to bring it back. She’s been my friend-sister for so long, knows about my perfume madness but not the specifics… I didn’t want to bother her on her trip, so she couldn’t find the refill (a very specific order), but she brought me a little bottle of the Aura EDT, which I didn’t know about. What a treat to try it! Much easier to wear than the EDP; it’s neither as sweet nor as dark-green-extravagant as the dark green gem. On my skin, the medicinal green accord of the Aura DNA stands out but is attenuated, with a sparkling, talcum-powdered jasmine and a vanilla base. It’s not a sweet vanilla, but I perceive it more than in the EDP. It’s easier to wear, less sweet, fresher and more open in sensation. It reminds me of Yellow Diamond, even though they aren’t alike. I love it! I’m sure I’ll use it more than the EDP. I’m just sorry the line is discontinued.

Definitely a total letdown. I had huge hype for the bottle, which I love, and thought it would be out of this world, but upon smelling it, I knew I’d tried something similar before. It’s not a unique or novel scent. Smelled good on blotter, but on skin I didn’t like it at all, and that really put me off. The more hours passed, the less I liked it. The bottle is the most beautiful I’ve seen, but I can’t do this perfume. It stresses me out so much. I’m sorry, Mugler, even though I’m a fan of your collection, this isn’t for me. The trail is wide and the longevity is amazing.

No point in trying with me and Mugler perfumes. I don’t know if it’s just me, but there’s a note that smells like old urine and I can’t get past it. Definitely this and Angel will make you smell unique and special, whether that’s good or bad depends on each person. For me, they are a big and resounding NO.

Not even Mugler is going to work for me. There’s a note that smells like old urine, full stop. Definitely, this and Angel will make you smell unique and special, whether for good or ill depends on the individual, but for me, it’s a resounding no.
