  I was sent a sample of a perfume I had already purchased. I had seen the brand but knew nothing about this fragrance. If you want to know what it smells like, it’s as if an animal had defecated in a bakery where chocolate biscuits had just been baked. But what predominates is the excrement. It literally smells of shit.

  I’m not a fan of gourmands, but this is beastly: opening with black chocolate biscuit and the dirty animal facet appears quickly. I don’t detect the raspberry; the vanilla is very subtle, in the background and not standing out. It reminds me of Delizia Oscura by Kalaj at first, but then it takes another direction, becoming much more animalic. For me, it’s a 10. Buy blind, it’s the most different thing I’ve smelled lately.

  I was looking for something similar, not identical, to Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscana and was guided by a niche sales assistant. They have nothing in common, even though both are gourmands. This smells like wild animal mixed with an old, well-burnt biscuit. It’s a powerful scent with a strong presence, but I wouldn’t call it sweet at all. To me, it shines more on cold nights for those who don’t mind going unnoticed. I think it’s more masculine than unisex, although that’s very subjective. In the end, I discarded it.
