They gave it to me for Three Kings’ Day and I love it; suitable for both day and night. I’m a fan of 80s and 90s fragrances, which never go out of style.

  • Antonio Chile

It’s a very sweet and long-lasting fragrance on the skin; you can tell there’s vanilla in it. It’s available at a good price online or in specialist shops.

  • One of my first perfumes, something lovely, unpretentious, fresh, youthful, and innocent.

  • It’s quite sweet and the vanilla comes through on me. Although it’s for daytime and youthful, I find it elegant. I like how it changes throughout the day on my skin. Hot won’t let you down; it’s affordable, long-lasting, and never goes out of style.

  • Patty López

It’s a good, affordable lotion with a fresh, pretty, youthful scent; I recommend it for daytime wear. It’s accompanied me since my teens, though I only have the bottle left now and wouldn’t buy it again for the moment, but if you want it, go ahead! It’s highly recommended. I also learned here that it’s unisex; I previously thought the red one was for women and the blue for men. Good luck!

I wore this years ago and liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it again; it felt more feminine than unisex, and I think it would look odd on a man.

  • I bought it too, but unlike my friend nossion, I found it more feminine than masculine. I used it until I finished the bottle, but I wouldn’t buy it again, unless it was to give as a gift to some girl.

  • I bought it according to the unisex description and really don’t think it is. It’s a very vanilla perfume, even more so than fresh, I find it sweet. I suppose it’s the perfume’s idea, to contrast with Cold, which does seem extremely fresh to me. For the price it’s more than okay, however, its aroma seemed synthetic and feminine, totally to my dislike. It ended up being just a gift.

  • I perceive it as a warm perfume; I only use it in winter, perhaps due to its woody base and vanilla. I find it somewhat masculine, it’s similar to the golden bear Tous, but I won’t buy it again.

  • One of my teenage perfumes; back then I would bathe in HOT regardless of the hour or season. Nowadays I don’t like it, I feel it can be overpowering if you go overboard with sprays, but I remember it with much affection.

  • I use it on cold days; in me, the sandalwood and peach stand out. I was given it a long time ago and always keep a bottle. Its longevity is over six hours on me; it makes me feel comfortable. I don’t find it unisex at all, but very feminine.

  • It’s a very affordable perfume; I bought it online even cheaper than in store. It’s not as if it should be the eighth wonder, it’s something economical, with a pleasant scent and good trail. The room smells quite a while afterwards. It’s light, I gave it as a gift and the truth is you look good with this. It’s a light and lovely perfume, and the bottle is fun.

  • Stuffy and sweet, I love it. It’s like an R&B version of Myrurgia powders, with more sandalwood and a wonderful woody sweetness. It’s one of those cheap perfumes that survived the creamy woods trend. Apart from the initial phase of apricot and stuffy citrus, it leaves a creamy natural sweetness with plenty of rosewood, sandalwood and plush vanilla, nothing cloying. It would be perfect if it didn’t have that artificial lacquer tone that sometimes comes through, but it’s not too obvious. It’s in the same vein as Dior’s Dolce Vita or Honeymoon Vanderbilt. Although it resembles Allure, during its evolution it recalls the great By from D&G and Very Valentino, with that refreshing, stuffy and sandal-tinged sweetness those discontinued scents had. Nevertheless, it’s an illusion; By was the bomb, very androgynous and transparent, dry and sweet, but masculine. This Hot, with unisex overtones when dry, is a women’s fragrance. I use it by the bucketful because I can’t help using what I like, especially if it has sandalwood; it takes me to the ends of the earth like a dog with a bone. It’s a very decent representative of the sweet woods of the turn of the century.

  • The first time I tried it, I found it horrible. It smells old-fashioned, nothing youthful as they claim, more like grandmothers’ lotion by tradition, not because of a good scent. It’s very warm, spicy but flat.

  • guadalupe villalobos

I bought it again out of nostalgia; I used it when I started work at 16 and didn’t recognise the scent until I saw it online at a ridiculous price. I wanted to relive those youthful times, although I admit it didn’t impress me now. It smells more citrusy to me now, without the vanilla or fruits that were promised. I bought it last year and have used it only a few times; I haven’t even noticed how long it lasts. It’s not a bad perfume, but simply not for me. Perhaps my taste has changed with the years and I no longer feel it’s feminine; I prefer floral-fruity scents.

  • _bembacolora

Hot is timeless; it simply doesn’t go out of fashion. Due to its woody notes, it’s elegant and nothing scandalous. In its dry down, after 2 hours, the woody scents stand out. My boyfriend is obsessed with it, and so am I.

  • pathypooh

It’s a delicious scent. Woody, fresh, vanilla-scented, and fruity. I liked it very much. It’s totally unisex and has excellent sillage and longevity. It’s vintage but smells super current. A budget jewel, totally worth the price.

  • Melimontecino

It’s an elegant and versatile fragrance that suits any occasion. Although it has vanilla, it’s not very intense or cloying. To me, it seems more feminine than unisex. I had it a few years ago and would buy it again.

  • It was my first perfume. I bought a small bottle when I was at university, many years ago. I had little money and would sometimes enter retail shops to buy cheap clothes, passing by perfumes knowing I couldn’t afford anything there. One day, on the way out, a boy gave me a blotter with the fragrance. I liked it instantly: a fresh citrus opening but also sweet. I asked the price and fell out of my chair: 5,990 Chilean pesos! Very cheap, and I could afford a 30 ml bottle. Later it wasn’t sold in retail, and over time I found it in importers, where the bottle was already old and slightly rancid. I find it different: not elegant, but a comforting, pleasant, and sweet aroma without losing freshness. It’s one of my classics that I always try to have. Now, good luck finding a bottle in good condition. Yes, I find it similar to Allure with its reservations, but it’s funny to notice how alike they are. Today it’s sold very cheaply in importers, but the scent isn’t as sparkly and fresh as in its first sprays years ago. Perhaps there was a reformulation. It’s good as a daily cologne, pleasant, floral, I can smell the iris, and has a certain warmth over time. You can detect the sandalwood and woods, which give it more consistency and appeal. I can’t describe it well, but it’s comforting and of medium longevity. Edit: I like it a lot!

  • locadelosperfumes

It’s too citrusy for me and very masculine. I tried it during my adolescence. I would give it another chance now that I’m an adult.

  • I bought Cold some time ago and as I loved it so much, I decided to purchase its companion. Expectations were exceeded: Hot is very good, balanced, and rich in nuances. Plus, it has those three B’s we love (Good, Beautiful, and Cheap). It smells citrusy and fruity at first, but with a woody aura noticeable the moment you spray it, accompanying you until the end. The fruity part is feminine due to the apricot, but don’t be alarmed as it fades over time, leaving a very pleasant ensemble. It’s sweet (also citrusy), creamy, velvety, and has a talc-like touch that gives it that vintage vibe I adore. The notes that stand out most are sandalwood, rosewood, and vanilla. If you like perfumes with sandalwood, run and try them. I was very surprised by the longevity: 12 hours with strong projection for the first 3 hours and moderate sillage, all on my skin. Projection and sillage are normal, but the longevity wasn’t what I expected; I thought around 6 hours. It’s versatile for any season, though I prefer it in spring and autumn; it also works well in summer. Ideal for a signature scent, work, or going out with colleagues. Unisex? Yes, slightly more feminine but nothing serious. Many websites already list it as unisex and I think it’s a success. If you want to see more content, check out my YouTube channel: Perfúmate Con JL.

  • Super delicious! Much more feminine than anything and very similar to Allure. On women, it’s incredible. Girls, it’s a super budget-friendly Allure.

  • I bought it blindly based on the price and reviews, thinking it was like Allure. Mistake. I identified a note I hate in many perfumes: iris, the very same note I can’t stand in Anaïs Anaïs and Grès Cabotine. Allure doesn’t have that, and here it is too sweet and loud. The positive is that I’ve learned to spot that unpleasant note to avoid it in the future. If you like it or it doesn’t bother you, it could be a great budget option. Edit: I absolutely love the base notes; on my skin it has eternal longevity, still smelling close to the skin the next day. What a shame I don’t like the heart.

  • A little sweet for being purely citrus; you can detect the sandalwood and palo santo, yet it remains feminine and elegant. The best way to describe it is as fruity, citrusy, and woody. For me, who adores fruity gourmand scents, this is far too exquisite.

  • Anfítrite

Tiny Kenny Green. This fragrance, alongside Cold, has piqued my curiosity. Although I haven’t tested it myself, I can assure you it is not a clone or copy of Allure; Hot launched in 1997 and Allure in 1999, according to Fragrantica. Any resemblance is likely due to the era and style, or perhaps Allure copied Hot. I simply wanted to clarify that when two perfumes sound alike, the cheaper one isn’t always the copycat. I’m not saying whether it’s good or bad as I haven’t used it, but I look forward to trying it. Best wishes.

  • I give it a poor rating. It smells more floral than citrus or woody, but it doesn’t feel that way until you apply it. It doesn’t last on skin or clothes. What a pity about the pleasant scent, as there are cheaper perfumes that last longer.

  • I don’t understand the criticism of this classic; every perfume smells different on every skin. On my skin, it opens with a fruity and woody blend, moves to a floral and amber heart, with oakmoss standing out. Unfortunately, it has been reformulated several times, though I have a 2015 bottle that respects the original line.

  • Smells like makeup powder. Lasts like a body mist, but for the price it’s excellent. Edit: it’s Chanel Allure in body mist version 😆

  • Adictaalodulce22

A real bargain for the price. Smells like baby powder and talcum. At first on my skin it’s a bit odd, almost like pizza, but then it settles into that talcum scent and stays that way. Lasts about five hours.

  • It brings back memories of the 1990s hairdresser: tobacco, hairspray, and mixed perfumes. Upon opening, it smells of aldehydes, then flowers and sweet woods. It’s feminine, lasts well, and I picked it up for five pounds as a room freshener.

  • SusanaMor

At first, it smells very woody and masculine, then turns into a baby-vanilla and powdery scent. After two hours, it’s sweet with fruity and vanilla notes. I’ve loved it; it will be one of my favourites.

  • Miriam Huerta

It opens with alcohol, followed by woody and citrus notes. Over time, it becomes powdery with amber and oakmoss. It smells rich, neither sweet nor invasive, but on my skin it lasts only about ten minutes.

  • I tried an old bottle today; the recent reformulation was a disaster. However, the original dries down to an exquisite and elegant scent. For the price, it’s a bargain.

  • I’ve wanted this since I was fifteen and rushed to buy it when I heard it was still in production, but I grew bored within a day. It gives me olfactory fatigue and I no longer like it.
