Delightful. Once dry, the vanilla comes through clearly.
Delicious, romantic, radiating cleanliness and tenderness.
I had it in the shop and in a friend’s dressing room, but I never dared to try it. Finally, thanks to Gisy’s reviews, I decided to buy it yesterday and I have no regrets. It radiates cleanliness and tenderness, almost innocence, and suits any age. It’s timeless; I’d use it in the bedroom to scent the pillows. It’s not overly sweet, adapting to the skin like a soft layer. It feels light and lasts longer than recent offers from expensive brands.
Indescribable and charming. The talc and vanilla notes fit perfectly for autumn or rainy days. It gives me a cosy, romantic feeling. It’s one of those perfumes where, when you shower, the steam fills with its scent. Simply perfect.
It was my first perfume, ‘truly my own’. My mother bought it for me when I was 13 because she thought it was a soft, delicate and clean scent, suitable for a teenage girl.
Ciel is an extremely talcum-scented perfume that evokes cleanliness, freshness and innocence. At first, it smells a bit of alcohol, but within a minute a lovely vanilla appears accompanied by powdery iris; I notice the rose very faintly and the amber disappears on my skin. It is a simple, comfortable fragrance that doesn’t show off and has no great pretensions, but wearing it makes you feel clean. It’s versatile, informal yet no less beautiful, has good longevity, a soft sillage, is affordable and uncommon; I consider it better than many designer brand perfumes.
I owned this perfume and it was totally powdery and soft, smelling of vanilla doll.
Ciel is very talcky, evoking cleanliness, freshness and innocence. At first it smells a bit of alcohol, but within a minute the vanilla and talc iris appear. The rose is very subtle and I don’t detect the amber on my skin. It’s simple, comfortable and unpretentious, yet it makes you feel clean. It’s versatile, informal but pretty. It has good longevity, a soft sillage, is affordable and better than many designer brands.
It is a very powdery fragrance with a very subtle vanilla note. The scent seemed childish to me. It stands out for nothing in terms of longevity or projection.
Ciel is now my second favourite fragrance after Blanc Violette by Histories of Parfums, simply because I adore powder scents. This perfume is exactly that: a very tender musky talc, the smell of my childhood that I have finally rediscovered. It makes me very sleepy, I think because of the musk, so I always use it on my pillow to sleep like a baby. In summer, it becomes a bit heavy for me, so I use its twin, Powder Flowers by Montale, which has less musk but smells the same. I hope it stays in stores forever; I already have four bottles and buy more every month. My husband says I’m addicted and hoarding, but I can’t bear the idea of the day Ciel is no longer sold.

I love it; it’s a timeless fragrance that reminds me of my childhood. It’s delicious, with a subtle powdery note and a sweet vanilla that isn’t overwhelming. Its longevity is very good; the iris note reminds me greatly of Guerlain’s Insolence. Ciel is a classic that captivates.
I bought it because it reminded me of my childhood, very talcky and fresh. I think I only bought it because it reminded me of a doll with that scent.
I bought it because it reminded me of my childhood; it’s very powdery and fresh. I think I only wore it because it made me smell like a doll.
It has a pleasant, powdery, and soft scent. The only drawback is that it doesn’t last long on the skin.
It was my first real perfume, a gift from my aunt. I wore it daily to school and felt incredibly coquettish. As I remember, the violet note is prominent, leaving a powdery scent without being unpleasant, while the vanilla base is rich yet not gourmand, more balanced. I’m not sure about the longevity; I think it lasted around four hours with a moderate trail. The box was lovely, sky blue with silver details, and the bottle had texture rather than being smooth. I wouldn’t buy it again as I wouldn’t give it the use it deserves, but it’s fine for a child or teenager.
I love it; it smells like a doll straight out of the box. I use it occasionally to help me sleep. It seems suitable for girls, teenagers, or older women, but the downside is that it doesn’t last very long.
It’s powdery, don’t confuse it with cream or lipstick. The powdery effect comes from the rose, violet, vanilla and earthy notes: clean, sweet, dry and warm scents. It’s the most economical of the powdery ones. Others in the range include Junoon by Al Haramein, Teint de Noir by Villarosi, and Ombre Rose by J.C. Brosseau (the best in my opinion). There’s one from Mercadona and another from Intimissimi that I don’t quite like. It doesn’t smell old because it’s timeless; it’s a matter of vibration. These perfumes harmonise with anyone seeking sweetness in life, as there is a real need for it.
Simple, feminine, tender, delicate; I really enjoy wearing this scent on a cool night after a good bath, it makes me feel clean, calm and comforted. It doesn’t have great longevity, unfortunately it disappears within the first hour on my skin, but it’s just the right amount of time to relax and rest.
This smells like an angel, it’s tender and powdery, an aroma that wraps you in a cloud of vanilla and iris. I bought it blind but I don’t regret it in the slightest; I adore these scents, it fits perfectly with the Ombre Rose and Flower line by Kenzo; if you like that style, you’ll love it. It’s classic, but that’s exactly the kind of aromas I enjoy. The vanilla isn’t gourmand or dessert-like, it’s more refined, delicate and powdery thanks to the iris note. For me, it’s an affordable treasure that is totally worth trying if you like classic powdery scents.
Ciel de UDV is a little piece of heaven when it comes to subtlety, a very economical, classic and powdery perfume; I remember my cousin who suffers from migraines found it the only thing she could tolerate due to its intensity.
It’s a simple yet incredibly rich vanilla; unbelievable how affordable this gem is, I want to keep it right next to my nose all the time.
As they say, unfortunately, it lasts a mere breath and is a perfume that smells very close to the skin with almost no projection. That’s why I wouldn’t buy it again. The scent does remind me a lot of 80s baby dolls with a vanilla smell. It’s talc-like and vanilla-scented, very rich and delicious; I wish there was one so similar but with better projection and longevity. I own Ombre Rose and they don’t resemble each other except that both are powdery and evoke a baby smell, but they are distinct scents. This one certainly appeals to me more in terms of scent. It’s one of my favourites in perfumes; it’s just too tender.
It’s a soft and tender fragrance that smells of baby powder with vanilla; I love it. The longevity on my skin is about five hours, but it lasts longer on clothes.
I usually apply it like this: after a bath, I put on almond oil and vanilla cream, then step outside to bathe myself in the perfume. At first, for the first two weeks, spraying it released an alcohol scent that, mixed with the powdery floral notes, irritated my throat and even hurt my chest. But I kept insisting on using it despite the discomfort, until one day the alcohol scent simply vanished. I now enjoy it immensely: with this routine, it lasts about five hours, which is more than enough when you’re trying to fall asleep. It’s very pleasant because with every movement, bursts of aroma reach you, and when I’m already in bed under the sheets, that angelic vanilla embraces me with its warmth until I drift off. It’s now part of my routine, and as soon as it runs out, I’ll rush to buy another bottle.
It’s a beautiful fragrance, smelling of baby powder. At first, it smelled of alcohol and didn’t last long, only an hour, but a few days later that scent disappeared and it now lasts nearly five hours on the skin, always very softly. I want to keep it with me always; I put it on before bed and it relaxes me immensely. Update: I stopped using it for two months, and when I started applying it again, it lasts over 12 hours! The first six hours are soft, like being wrapped in a fine sheet, and the last hours are very close to the skin but still perceptible. With that longevity, I’ve loved it even more than before.
If you’ve ever opened baby wipes, you know this scent. It’s not cloying, but rather soft and enveloping. On my skin, it smells more like roses than vanilla; if there is vanilla, it’s subtle, spiced, and slightly creamy at the end. For the price, it’s a bargain: it lasts about five hours on me (the average) with good projection, strong but not overpowering, and was noticeable even before removing the cellophane. It evolves well and, far from smelling old-ladyish, feels innocent and ideal for someone starting to play with fragrances or a man who wants to smell clean and warm. I bought it for daily use, to smell clean on you and your clothes, then layer a fuller-bodied perfume on specific zones. I’d define it as talc-like, not gourmand, nor too ambered for a woman. I wouldn’t buy it again not because I dislike it, but because I seek more complex scents and this one is very flat. 8/10
