  Exquisite! It doesn’t invent anything new nor is it original, but it smells rich, cheerful, juicy, and refined. Totally summery, although it feels like springtime in the office. I’ve never tried a kumquat, but it smells of citrus orange. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d take it home.

  Brilliant and fresh, it vibrates just like Vitodito. It’s not a revolutionary gem; it smells of things we already know, but it’s so well-made. The best part is its performance: it projects like a citrus and lasts longer than usual. The orange note isn’t the smell of peeling a freshly bought fruit, but rather blends with bergamot, neroli, and ginger. I remember tasting a kumquat as a child: bitter, with the skin, like a miniature orange. That’s exactly this scent. As it dries, the citrus quickly yields to the lavender and that spark of ginger, though the acidity remains. It closes with a musky base that cleanses and evokes nostalgia, like opening a window to childhood memories. If you like citrus and don’t mind spending on quality, give it a look.
