Very lovely and perfect for everyday wear! Although its longevity and projection are limited, it smells fantastic. It is almost identical to Animale For Men with a touch of tobacco, and the price is outstanding.
Another gem from Cuba Paris that surprises with acceptable quality for a ridiculous price. An interesting fragrance with moderate trail and longevity, ideal for hot days and perfect for over-applying without guilt. Cuba Grey smells very much like the classic Calvin Klein Eternity. I can’t believe that with just three notes they’ve created such a well-executed clone. It also resembles Animale For Men, as georgequeue mentioned. After trying it a few days ago, I no longer dare to buy the original Eternity. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 7/10, Projection: 6.5/10, Price: 10/10.
Agreed: Cuba Paris Grey resembles Calvin Klein’s Eternity For Men, and consequently, Chanel’s Egoiste Platinum. It is more linear than the Eternity and its dry-down isn’t as spectacular as Chanel’s, but between this and the Cuba Paris New York lies the best of the house. Highly recommended at 100%.
What a pleasant surprise! Not just for me, but for those around me; it leaves a good impression on women when they smell it. I’ve already bought several for my mother because she sells them in her shop, and, as the Chilean almost always leaves everything until the last minute (though that’s changing), neighbours use them as a last resort for an forgotten gift. I don’t know if it resembles Eternity as I used it years ago, but it has something distinct yet familiar that causes that feeling of satisfaction the opposite sex desires when we use it in daily life. It’s versatile like all Cuba aromas, so I know what my next purchase will be. To sum up… it’s that black jacket that always suits you and you’d wear it all the time.
Highly recommended for the office. It has a nineties vibe. Florals (juniper) and lavender dominate, with touches of classic Cuban leather and tobacco. It suits me better in winter and spring, but with a bit more application during the day, there’s no problem. For the price, it’s a beast.
Yesterday I bought Cuba Grey and Cuba Gold. I didn’t expect Grey to smell as good as people say, and on top of that, it has very noticeable similarities with CK Eternity and Egoiste Platinum. It’s a great option for hot days, and its older sibling, Cuba Gold, for when it’s cold. I’ve found my two daily perfumes after years of trying things that nowadays aren’t worth paying for. Now I just need to buy another bottle of my ‘signature scent’, but that’s another story.
I was looking for something with vetiver like Eternity, but in the end, it’s something else entirely. It reminds me more of Animal than what I expected, with lots of geranium and lavender. And to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of smelling like Animal. Just kidding.
