  • Pleasant, fresh, and clean aroma. Fragantica says it’s similar to Hugo Boss. Good price: 100 pesos in Mexico. Moderate longevity. Ideal for spring and summer.

  • Smells identical to the Hugo Boss Cantimplora bottle version, but with a stronger green apple note (unofficial note). On skin, 90% is the original; only an expert would notice the difference. Lasts 4 to 6 hours, very soft and skin-scented. For the price, it’s worth reapplying without guilt. In Mexico, 100ml costs $10. A good alternative to Hugo, I liked it a lot. EDIT: After several tests, it does feel synthetic between the 4th and 6th hour, but it remains a valid option.

  • Smells similar to CK One, more citrusy and unisex, but I can’t detect the wood and vetiver notes. It feels a bit artificial, like household cleaner. Didn’t like it much, gave it away. Not bad, just not what I expected. Moderate sillage, ideal for warm climates.

  • Bought it for the price and the initial impression, but it feels so synthetic that it made me dizzy quickly; it’s not a scent I’d want to project.

  • I agree that it resembles Hugo Boss Hugo, but maybe only 60%. Also, don’t think it’s very similar; besides, it smells too synthetic. Its opening is very strong; when I asked them to show me by spraying it on my skin, its aroma made me feel a bit dizzy. There are better fragrances from Cuba; I don’t recommend this one. If you’re thinking of buying it, try it first, feel its scent.

  • I agree it’s about 60% reminiscent of Hugo Boss Hugo, but it’s not an exact copy. The downside is that it smells very synthetic and the opening is so potent that it made me dizzy upon application. There are better Cuban alternatives available; if you’re interested, try it first before buying.

  • A sister gifted my father a bottle of Hugo Boss Cantimplora several years ago. I never intended to try it until one day she asked if I was spraying it secretly… I replied no because at that time I was using Only Brave by Diesel. I was quite disappointed with my perfume then… Now that I think about it, I tried Cuba Green once but it left me indifferent. I adore Cuban fragrances except for this and others that haven’t made a definitive mark on me to return to using them.

  • It’s a good option for summer and spring. You can sense a citrus note, I think it’s the blend between oakmoss and green notes. It’s not a bad perfume; it’s fresh, with moderate sillage at a good price, not bad at all.

  • pathypooh

Delicious, very herbal, with green notes and oakmoss. Super summery, fresh and sparkling. The house of Cuba knows how to make good fragrances; although they imitate expensive ones, they are of good quality and offer excellent value for money. A very good option.

Rich, rich, rich, very herbal; I can feel the green notes and the oakmoss quite strongly. Super summery, fresh and sparkling. The house of Cuba knows how to make good fragrances; although they imitate more expensive ones, they are of very good quality. In terms of price-quality, it’s a very good option. I like it a lot.

  • wood-leather

At first, it smells of alcohol, then disappears, leaving the green notes. The first 45 minutes are strange, almost medicinal, but not offensive. By the hour, it changes to something soft yet shaped, very pleasant. By the second hour, the earthy moss appears, exquisite. Projects for 4 to 5 hours with 5 sprays. Ideal for the price. I recommend it for summer or rainy days to get the most out of it. Fixation: 7/10, Versatility: 7/10, Sillage: 7/10, Aroma: 7/10, Projection: 7/10.

  • Cuba Green is rich; the green notes dominate from the very first moment, reminding you of that colour, with herbal notes that make you feel fresh, like in a green field. It’s very economical but feels like higher quality. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long, about four hours with poor projection of just 30 minutes. Would I recommend it? It’s a fragrance you need to try; it wins you over with its docile and wearable character. Give it a go, but don’t expect miracles in terms of longevity. It’s perfect for walking, the gym, sports, or at home on a hot day, transporting you to a green field scene. It’s versatile, but more so for summer and spring, day or night.

  • Cuba Green is exquisite, with green notes from the very first moment, like a fresh field. Very economical and feels high quality. Pity it doesn’t last long, around 4 hours with poor projection. I recommend it if you know what you’re getting: it’s well-behaved and wearable. Try it, but don’t expect longevity. Perfect for walking, the gym, sports, or staying in during heat. It transports you to a countryside setting. Versatile, better for summer and spring.

To my taste, it’s not too heavy, but it has a peculiar scent. When applied to the skin, if the woody notes come through, it smells like perfumes from the 90s. At first, it smells of alcohol, which is normal for the price. Personally, I like it a lot because I’m a fan of green scents. If you prefer something sweeter or aquatic, this isn’t for you.

  • I was looking for something within my budget and found this based on references that it’s similar to Hugo, my wife’s favourite. Well, there’s no difference to be noticed. Come on, thanks Cuba Green!

  • Cuba Libre Green smells awful. I bought it based on good reviews, what a disappointment: it smells like a sweaty, perfumed worker, with an unpleasant effect that makes you dizzy and gives you a headache.

  • I’ve never understood people who get dizzy from perfumes. Anyway, everyone has their own taste.
