I always find it hard to notice the citrus notes, because here the wood and musk take the show; I know several Chypres and this is one worthy of the name. I haven’t used it much so as not to ramble, but it smells great.
Smells nice and I liked it, but honestly it smells exactly like a casino office air freshener. It’s not the player’s area with cigar smoke and people; it’s a reserved manager’s office. That’s the scent.
The scent is pleasant and I liked it, but it smells exactly like a casino office with air freshener, not the gaming area with a smell of cigar and people. Rather, it’s like a reserved manager’s office cubicle.
Let me clarify that Las Vegas by Cuba Paris has nothing to do with Hugo Boss Red, as people say. I own both and Hugo doesn’t share a single note with this. On the contrary, it is closer to Davidoff’s Champion, which shares two of its three key notes: oakmoss and bergamot. As I also own Champion, I tested everything, and even compared it with Kenneth Cole’s Black, which I initially thought might have some relation.
Starts very well, festive. The mossy patchouli feels rich and the woods make an immediate appearance. The downside is that once it dries down, the trail drops significantly and the scent becomes rather unappealing, smelling like bathroom or car air freshener. It’s a synthetic scent, like some dental surgeries: astringent, medicinal, almost benzene-like. I know, it smells like the room where cleaning and disinfection supplies are stored in a business (hotel, hospital, restaurant). Suitable as a gift for an unpretentious nephew.
It starts very well, festive, with a rich mossy patchouli and the woods making a quick appearance. The downside is that as it dries, the projection drops off a treat and the scent becomes rather unattractive, smelling like a bathroom or car air freshener. It’s suitable as a gift for an uncritical nephew.
Soft, fresh and slightly sweet, incredibly similar to Hugo Boss Bottled in its dry-down. I thought it couldn’t be the same, but it is. I would describe it as soft, sweet and woody. It works brilliantly for everyday wear or air-conditioned environments; it’s wonderful in the office because it’s elegant, and also for meetings or casual outings. Super accessible price for a well-crafted scent that is close to the skin and lasts about 6 hours. It has brought me many compliments; I didn’t expect that given its poor projection. Ideal for those over 25 due to its formal character. If you like soft perfumes or are looking for something affordable that smells expensive, in the Hugo Boss B style, with similar performance, it’s a good option.
Soft, fresh and with a touch of sweetness, as it dries it smells almost identical to Hugo Boss Bottled, it can’t be! It’s elegant, perfect for the office or casual outings. Accessible price, smells expensive and is close to the skin with about 6 hours of longevity. I’ve received many compliments for its poor projection. Ideal for those over 25 if you’re looking for something formal and soft or affordable that smells expensive.
I own both Vegas and Hugo Boss Bottled, and in my opinion they are over 90% the same. It smells delicious, old-school elegant style. Perfect for a little night out, brilliant!
I own Cuba Las Vegas and Hugo Boss Bottled too. In my opinion, they’re over 90% identical. A rich, old-school elegant smell. Perfect for a night out.
It’s over 90% identical to Boss Bottled 1998. At first, it smells synthetic, but within minutes it gives way to a blend of apple, cinnamon and cloves. It lasts well for the first two hours, then settles into a personal bubble for another 5 or 6 hours. For the price, you can’t leave it out of your collection. Ideal for going out at night, rainy days or air-conditioned offices.
Buy this fragrance, it’s definitely over 90% similar to Boss Bottled 1998. At first it smells slightly synthetic, but after a few minutes it disappears, leaving that apple, cinnamon and clove scent. Lasts well for the first two hours, then lingers in a personal bubble for another five or six hours. For the price, you can’t afford not to have it in your collection. Ideal for evening wear, rainy days or air-conditioned offices.
I used it when going to primary school at 11 or 12 years old. I bought it blindly and don’t remember the exact scent, but I do recall it was easy to wear and nothing outdated.
