  1. It smells like Hermès with that earthy base, but on my skin it bursts into something sweet: ripe orange peel, orange blossom, and a potent patchouli that lasts seven hours. It leaves an amber trail, sweet as talc with noble woods, super creamy. I hesitated to see it marketed for men, but I sprayed it on my wrist and they were blown away by that fresh, almost floral touch. Overall, it’s magnificent, distinguished, and perfect with jeans and a black jumper. I love it for rainy autumn and those grey Madrid mornings in winter; it adds a note of soul and luminosity to dull days. Tip: spray sparingly to avoid overwhelming, a discreet and elegant gesture.

Olivier Polge working with the meticulousness of a goldsmith in a modern homage to oakmoss, that cardinal axis of chypres, paired with a soft, slightly smoky patchouli and bergamot. A gift for the most exquisite palates.
