Smells 100% musky. Citrus notes come out strong and rich, with fruity scents like watermelon, melon and grape for the first hour. Then they fade to make way for flowers, patchouli and musk. I didn’t have a chypre in my collection and I’ve loved it. Projects for about 5 hours and lasts 8. Recommended for collection, it’s perfect for summer and autumn.
Top notes have pleasant, non-pungent tropical fruits. Over time it becomes very soapy and clean, reminding me of white Dove soap. Dries down floral; I see it as unisex, perhaps slightly feminine, but I adore it and my wife is attracted to it. Good trail and longevity, easily 8 hours. A Montale that doesn’t surprise but pleases.
Bought blind and hit the jackpot. Citrus opening, less fruity than others say. Dries down soapy, clean and elegant. Ideal for heat, day or night. Projects well and lasts just enough. Not as loud as other Montales, but everyone loves it.
