To me, it’s a lighter version of Armani Code… more ‘stuffy’, musky, floral, and powdery. It smells like talcum powder after a while. It might suit many people, but not me, and it’s not particularly glamorous either. There’s something that smells like cheap tobacco (the kind with barely any tobacco in it) and, to top it off, a dentist’s surgery. In short, I detect a synthetic note that I just hate.
It’s my go-to fragrance; it clings to my skin and lasts for hours. I prefer scents that aren’t overly sweet, and this strikes the perfect balance between sweetness and a citrus note. I like that musky side without it being cloying. What a pity they’ve taken it out of the catalogue.
I bought this as a gift for myself in 2008 when I was 20, and it never worked for me; the packaging was certainly cool, but the scent was rubbish—stale and foul. No, seriously, I had to throw it away. It was frustrating to see such a lovely bottle with such a terrible smell inside.
