One of the four colognes from the Men’s Signature Collection I tried today at the Bath & Body Works boutique on Margarita Island. Note, it’s a pure cologne, not a casual scent; this collection reminds me of Avon’s for that same concentration. Ideal for the home or super casual outings near home. With this, the nearly two-hour longevity is what’s expected. The skin fixation is quite consistent, even after a cold water shower. Definitely the freshest of the four I tried (Noir, Graphite, Cypress and this one). Again, it reminded me of an Avon fragrance I can’t quite recall, but the comparison isn’t bad; it’s a pleasant aroma, quite oxonic with a citrus touch.
A soft fragrance with watery notes, very masculine, projecting for barely two hours and lingering on skin for 5-6 hours. It can be complemented with a body wash and body lotion. Quite pleasant, and if you overapply 6-7 sprays you can achieve a bit more projection. It costs approx $30-35 USD for 100ml, although you can find it at a better price on some department store offers.

I loved it; it smells delicious on my skin, but it lasts barely four hours and projects very little. Ideal for this coming heat and for women’s summer perfumes, although on my skin, fragrances from this season tend to last and project less.
I liked the fragrance; on my skin it lasts four hours and projects very little. It smells delicious and is very suitable for increasingly hot climates and women’s summer perfumes, as on my skin they don’t last or project much.
I won the gel and lotion for their freshness, ideal for summer, and when I saw the perfume on offer, I bought it blindly, trusting the brand. However, the cologne let me down: although it lasts the normal amount for its price, the opening alcohol smells cheap and mutes the notes, something that doesn’t happen with the bath line. Once it settles, it improves, but I wouldn’t buy it again; for $30 there are options that deliver more.
Freshwater by Bath & Body Works is, without a doubt, my favourite fragrance from the brand. Paired with the body lotion, it leaves a watery, citrusy and mossy freshness that is simply out of this world. It might be subjective as it holds a special emotional value for me, but its appeal is undeniable. If you’re looking for something that evokes that ‘clean and fresh’ feeling, Freshwater should be on your list. Although its longevity isn’t the best, I feel the scent is truly worth it. It’s light and refreshing, perfect for everyday wear or any moment when you want to feel revitalised.
