It smells incredibly elegant. The opening is very fresh, and as it dries down, it smells like lime with a touch of fine wood. It doesn’t last long, but for the price, there’s no complaint; you can bathe in it without guilt.
Yes, I have it, and I’m going for the second bottle… and yes, I really like it; it’s my guilty pleasure. People ask if it’s Bleu de Chanel, and I always say yes, haha. The notes are rich and synthetic but smell very masculine and fresh; the pepper is a bit heavy, but for the price in Mexico, I’ll buy it again. As it dries down, it’s more pepper and wood with a little grass and patchouli. If you’re not a perfume guru, give it a chance; personally, it’s the only one I like from the Cubas range.
First try when freshly opened in a hot spring. It smells good initially. Then, with the heat, it becomes slightly sweet and woody without losing freshness, perhaps due to that Iso E Super they mention. At $6 on sale in Chile, it lasts five and a half hours; although it projects strongly only for the first hour and a half, I’m not bothered by carrying a decant to reapply before heading to work. Ideal for everyday wear or the office, neither too mature nor too youthful, perfect for ages 25 to 45.
It has brought me compliments that even my more expensive perfumes don’t get, and I always joke about its price. It has worked very well for me, and its longevity has surprised me; I would buy it again, with the proviso that it doesn’t perform quite as well as my current bottle.

A cheap option for Bleu de Chanel, exactly $10. I recommend it for the evening, for outings of no more than six hours. You can perceive it as it dries down after 15 minutes; at first, you put it on and don’t notice anything, but as it dries, who tells you it isn’t Bleu?

It reminds me a lot of Bleu de Chanel, but in my opinion, they’ve gone a bit overboard with the pepper. But if you like it, it has more than acceptable longevity and sillage at a very good price.
Very good fragrance at a laughable price. It’s not an exact clone of Bleu de Chanel, but it resembles it greatly; it’s fresher and, in my view, very versatile. A blind buy without any issues. Good sillage and excellent longevity. Highly recommended.
All the Cubas are so watery that, although they give a kick at the opening, this Shadow compared to Bleu de Chanel EDT, you can’t even perceive them after an hour. You have to spray 15 times to notice it a bit, and watch out, after 3-4 hours, forget about it; it’s finished. That’s life. If you’re a die-hard fan of Bleu de Chanel and can’t afford to buy it (it’s expensive, I tell you, and never drops in price), save a little for the Missoni Pour Homme which, at 35-40 euros, is brilliant and resembles it 80%, or better still, look at an equivalent from the Spanish house Saphir (or Caravan, they’re the same) or some supermarket clone which, at 8-10-12 euros, are quite well done and surely will last much longer than this Cubas Shadow.
This perfume has earned my respect. It does last for me; perhaps it has good fixation. I have Bleu de Chanel Parfum and this Cubas Shadow; without having such high quality, it goes along this line of the Bleu. Throughout the day, it throws bursts of the scent; if you want to know how you get on with this type of fragrance, this is an excellent option due to its low cost.

The only drawback is that it fades quickly; if you want it to last like a normal perfume, you’d have to bathe in it without overdoing it. With normal use, it might only last half an hour.
I was looking for something cheap for everyday wear without spending too much. I didn’t want to try the Cubas because the 2000s ones smelled old (probably because my dad and brother kept them in the bathroom). But when I tried this Shadow, I loved it, bought it straight away, and have no regrets. I even use it to sleep in after a shower. If you see it, buy it; it’s a winner and you won’t stop using it.
