This is the first Kyse fragrance I wouldn’t repurchase. It’s not because of the scent, which is pleasant, but because on me, it sits very close to the skin. Furthermore, it recreates the smell of gummy sponges in a realistic yet light way, a result I find simple and childish. Although I adore Kyse, this perfume and I just haven’t connected. Thanks to Cnidaria for this decant of a marvel I’ve been wanting to try for months. Have you ever heard a scent and thought, ‘I want to be this’? It happened with me and the marshmallows. I’ve always preferred smelling them to eating them; since childhood, they seemed like art. In secondary school, I met girls wearing Ésika or L’bel body mists that smelled of marshmallow cookies; I never knew the name and searched in vain. I’ve spent over 15 years looking for a literal marshmallow scent; I tried almost everything and was disappointed that none were that real (except Guimavue, which smells nice). Meeting Delizia di Marshmallow in person gave me nerves; I was so excited I feared letting myself down or having a weak trail. I felt like before a first date after a string of bad ones. My hands were trembling: ‘Will it be my blue princess fragrance?’. Upon application, I felt like Wendy and her brothers after being dusted with fairy dust, wondering if they’d fly like Peter Pan or fall into the void. I swear I held my breath. I took the leap to see if the fairy dust of Delizia di Marshmallow worked… I was flying! Or rather, I fell into a giant bowl of soft, fresh-from-the-bag marshmallows. What magic and warmth. It’s a literal marshmallow scent, exactly what I was looking for, and I swear I didn’t want it to end. The first spray is like a greedy assassin putting your head in a bag of marshmallows, but the performance is divine: it kisses your skin and leaves an aura of sugar, soft vanilla, and those realistic, fluffy marshmallows. Contrary to my belief, it lasted over 12 hours with a pleasant trail for those around me. I had a bad day, but its scent put me in a good mood. What a delight. I want to convert this decant into a full bottle. Scent: 10/10 Sillage: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Bottle: 6/10.
I tried this little perfume with high expectations regarding Kyse’s performance. It’s soft and gorgeous, like putting your head into a bag of sweet, powdery marshmallows, with subtle vanilla and nothing cloying. It’s gorgeous, but there’s a catch: it’s super subtle, staying close to the skin no matter the sprays, and that didn’t thrill me. I think I would enjoy it more with layering but I’m not brave enough yet. For now, I wouldn’t buy it again due to its poor performance on me.
I must start by thanking Cnidaria for this decant of an absolute gem I’ve been dying to try for months. Have you ever felt a scent whisper, ‘I want to be this’? With Marshmallows, it was exactly that; I’ve always preferred smelling them to eating them, a true art form since childhood. Back in secondary school, some friends wore Ésika or L’bel body mists that smelled of marshmallow cookies. I hunted for that scent everywhere but couldn’t find it, yet the smell was so realistic. I’ve spent over 15 years searching for that literal aroma, trying almost every perfume that claims to have it, only to be disappointed until I found Guimavue, which smells nice but not quite the same. Meeting Delizia di Marshmallow in person gave me butterflies; I was so excited I feared I’d be let down or that the sillage would be weak. I felt like someone waiting for their first date with someone special after a string of bad ones. My hands were actually trembling: ‘Will it be my blue princess fragrance?’. Upon application, I felt like Wendy and her brothers after being dusted with fairy dust, wondering if they’d fly or plummet due to physics. I swear I held my breath. Finally, I took the leap to see if the fairy dust worked… I was flying! Or rather, I fell into a giant bowl of soft, fresh-from-the-bag marshmallows. What magic and warmth. Delizia is the fragrance most similar to what marshmallows or bonbons should smell like; many contain the note but rarely represent it. Delizia smells exactly like the scent of opening a bag of marshmallows: sweet, powdery and very vanilla-forward. I agree with Gaby: the longevity isn’t the best, but it smells so well it’s irrelevant. I got the small format (15ml) and I think I need another bottle because I have to reapply. Gourmand lovers looking for a bonbon scent, this is it!
Delizia di Marshmallow is the fragrance closest to what marshmallows or bonbons should smell like; many perfumes feature this note but rarely represent it well. As my fellow reviewers say, Delizia smells exactly like opening a bag of marshmallows: sweet, powdery, and very vanilla. I agree with Gaby: the longevity isn’t great, but it smells so good it doesn’t matter. I got the smallest format (15 ml) and I think I need another bottle because I have to reapply. If you’re a gourmand lover seeking a bonbon scent, look no further.
Here comes the review nobody asked for but which I’m happy to give: yes, it’s clear. Today I’m talking about this beauty that deserves attention… DELIZIA DI MARSHMALLOW… OMG. My previous experience with Kyse wasn’t the best; although I’m a gourmand fan, those perfumes seemed like fried food to me due to the butter. But with friends we decided to try new things. Since they don’t ship to Mexico and there’s nowhere to get them, a search led me to these bonbons and I got this wonder. Little did I know it would become my only backup perfume. Delizia is delicious, it keeps its promise: bonbons. A freshly opened bag, soft vanilla and powdery, without any makeup powder smell. It’s linear, with just three notes: bonbon, vanilla and sugar. It’s not boring or cloying. Of course it’s sweet, but I’ve met others that give headaches. Delizia isn’t one of them. On me it lasts decently 6 hours on skin and forever on clothes. Do you like bonbons? This is your best option. Terri Bozzo nailed it.
White bonbons, you can feel the powder. When I first sprayed, I thought it would smell intense like Pink Sugar, but no; these bonbons are very realistic, natural, like holding the bag close. Drying down, it becomes very personal, close to the skin, with the sweetness of melting or burnt bonbons. Not fresh, but warm. It doesn’t tire me. It’s linear, a typical gourmand.
I bought a 15 ml bottle and liked it so much I went back to buy a larger one. It’s sweet but not cloying, and I agree with several reviews: it sits close to the skin. Although it doesn’t project much, it has good longevity. It works brilliantly for layering with other perfumes. Personally, I find it wonderful.

What defines Kyse is its realism. Before, I tried Douceur Brûlée and didn’t like it; it seemed cloying and greasy. With Delizia di Marshmallow, it’s a different story: it smells like powdery bonbons, neither artificial nor cloying, like opening a new bag. It’s so delicious that several times people told me they wanted to take a bite. It projects well, people comment it smells like bonbons or biscuits, and lasts about 8 hours. The only downside is the atomiser which leaks and crystallises the sugar, wasting product.
If Kyse Perfumes is known for realism, I confess I used to hate Douceur Brulee and Delizia di Marshmallow from the tester set; they seemed cloying, as if I’d just eaten a homemade dessert and had grease on my fingers. With Delizia di Marshmallow, everything changes: it smells of powdery bonbons, nothing artificial, literally like just opening the bag (as other reviews say). It’s so delicious that several times people asked if I wanted a bite. Projection and longevity are top-notch: it smells of bonbons or cookies to those nearby and lasts about 8 hours. The only downside is the atomiser; it drips liquid, causing the sugar to crystallise and wasting more product than I use.
The marshmallow note is executed perfectly and this perfume lasts an eternity on me. Very sweet, ideal for cold climates in casual events. It has quite good sillage without being tiring.
It’s a beautiful perfume, but it smells very similar to Bianco Latte, which I already own, except this one lacks that alcoholic afternote I notice in the other. It’s a caramelised, creamy, very sweet vanilla, without being cloying. It has excellent performance. I think, had I not owned Bianco, this would have surprised me immensely, but I found it somewhat redundant.

It’s caramelised vanilla, creamy and very sweet without being cloying. Excellent performance. I think if I didn’t have the Bianco, I would have been hugely surprised, but I found it somewhat redundant.
At first, I was doubtful about this fragrance, but I completely retract that opinion. It’s a gorgeous marshmallow with the exact powdery sweetness that creates an atmosphere leaving a trail wherever you go. I’ve received many compliments, and the best part is its enviable longevity; it lasts all day projecting well. Not a bomb, more of a sillage cloud. Out of all I searched for to smell like marshmallows, this is the only one that achieved it on my nose.
A must for cold days: warm and powdery like marshmallows, though on my skin it leans more towards chocolate, reminiscent of Greedy but with more personality. Drying down to milk chocolate with hints of marshmallow, perhaps cookies too. Top-notch sillage and longevity.
