One of my favourite gourmands; it makes me instantly happy just by smelling it. Although it’s sweet and dessert-like, it’s not overly serious. Little anecdote: on a car trip, the petrol station attendant asked my husband what air freshener was in the car because it smelled so delicious; he laughed because he knew it was my perfume.
At first, it smells of cherry syrup, then it softens. If you recall anything of Lost Cherry by Tom Ford, that’s fine, but I don’t smell the macarons from that illustration.
What a delicious gourmand! Smells like custard, dulce de leche and marzipan, with cherry and candies in the background, heliotrope creaminess and myrrh. Everything is balanced: sweet without being cloying. Makes me happy, unisex-feminine, with good projection and acceptable longevity (around 6 hours). Linear until it fades, easy to please. Simple bottle, but the little black silk pouch adds a special touch.
