Although it says Woman, a man can wear it with total naturalness. It opens with a fresh floral touch, slightly powdery, mixed with creamy citrus and that typical soapy accord from the musk and aldehydes. It’s discreet but stays with you, with a longevity that surprises given how light it seems. In the same family, but sharper and more acidic, is Comme des Garçons’ Marseille, which intensifies the freshly laundered laundry smell with a more vibrant soapiness. I’ve worn it for a few days and people have asked if I’m wearing Chanel No. 5 or Loewe Aire. They have nothing to do with each other, but I understand the confusion: the common point is that aldehydic soapy sensation that evokes cleanliness, though here it is softer and more elegant. There are perfumes that scent the present and others that open a door to the past, like a whisper saying everything was fine. 🍀

  Day 40: smells of cleanliness and shine from the very first second, retaining that freshness even as it dries down. It’s a classic aldehydic floral, powerful yet with that first-skin sensation. Towards the end it becomes more floral and musky, without many extra surprises. If you like clean, simple perfumes with a strong floral touch, this is a good choice. Although it has a high concentration and is Amouage, there are cheaper options that resemble it and justify the price better. Rating: 6/10. I tried it in the Amouage Discovery Set that Scentxplore sent me in 2023.
