  It’s okay, it’s a fairly average fragrance that doesn’t really add much.

  I love it. I tried it in 2012 with my husband at duty free alongside other L12.12 scents; we tested them all before asking him to wear this Rouge Energetic. We spent the whole flight enjoying that wonderful scent. Soon after, he bought it and it became his signature fragrance; since then he asks for it whenever it runs out, even ordering from the USA when it disappeared from shops here. It smells of lots of rooibos tea—that wonderful African tea—with a hint of bitter orange (sweet, though it tastes very bitter to me), combined with juicy mango. The ginger refreshes it, the cardamom sweetens it, and the pepper adds its share of seriousness, leaving a very pleasant aroma. The downside is that, although it lasts many hours on the skin, the projection is terrible. But for short distances, what more could we want?

  Rather generic fragrance, smells like foot powder. Reminds me of Polo Black. The only good thing is it’s cheap, but there are better options at that price.

  Rich aroma for feeling fresh, lasts 3-4 hours and needs reapplication. Worth it if you catch it on discount.

  Looking for something with mango? Here it is. Other alternatives to Mango Burnas include Polo Black, Kenzo Night, Ambassador, Guissada, and Mango Skin (note: I haven’t tried the last one, but they say it’s more feminine).
