Eau de Lingerie

Descripción
Eau de Lingerie by Guerlain is a floral musky woody fragrance for women. This creation, signed by Olivier Polge and launched in 2013, unfolds an olfactory pyramid where top notes of bergamot and jasmine give way to a heart of rose and musk, settling on a base of sandalwood and vanilla.

Another Guerlain gem that, frankly, doesn’t quite reach the heights. It smells good, of course: it’s that vintage musk from Mon Precieux Nectar, nothing like that clean Norit-style musk or the trendy animalic notes, but rather something powdery and sweet, like a floral nectar without sugar or vanilla. The problem is that it’s weak on projection; after three hours, it’s barely noticeable on clothes or skin. For the price they’re asking, it should last at least eight hours. It’s a poor investment, and I feel they’ve gone too far trying to rip us off with excuses like ‘bedsheet perfume’ when it’s just a watery, weak fragrance. There have been several like this; let them know we’re being had.
I liked it; it’s very soft and talcum-powdered, but you’re right, dhoakohime, it’s not worth paying its price. Luckily, I only invested in a sample and not the full bottle.

Musk, talc, myrrh, frankincense, cinnamon, and natural vanilla; what more could you ask for? Perhaps a hint of vetiver. How happy the mummies must be in eternity.
It’s a purely feminine fragrance, subtly sweet, with a scent of plastic doll, talcum-powdered, and dominated by iris, rose, and vanilla, with a very subtle touch of sandalwood and musk. Although it’s pretty and feminine, it’s not my favourite of the four; I’d place it third because it’s very similar to its sister, Eau de Lit, which is a little more complex and special. Still, Eau de Lingerie is ideal for feeling sexy and elegant at the same time. Of the four, this is the one that lasts the best, a maximum of 7 hours.
