  I bought this blind from the brand’s website as I’m exploring niche fragrances. I’ve tried around 150 so far; some have delighted me, others disappointed, but most have left me indifferent, which is unforgivable in the niche world, so expensive and supposedly superior to traditional high perfumery. That said, Fraîche Passiflore is no such case. The beauty of this tropical fruity scent is immense; its peach, raspberry and taje notes blend masterfully at first, and when the passionfruit emerges, pure magic happens—a tropical explosion I haven’t smelled in any other fragrance. It’s said to contain jasmine (though its presence is subtle) and a hint of pepper or paprika, which I don’t particularly appreciate in themselves, but I think they help enhance that wild fruity character. The sandalwood and musk base have just the right presence, something I adore because nothing is quite as disorienting as fragrances that start one way only to reveal a completely different base, leaving you wondering if they’re even the same scent. Longevity is quite good, though not beast-mode, and the trail is discreet and wonderful, radiating pure joy with that soft natural sweetness of fruit rather than added sugary notes for gourmand scents, which are all the rage now but aren’t my cup of tea. In conclusion, I’m utterly in love with this beautiful perfume; I wish I’d discovered it sooner.
