  • It’s my childhood perfume: someone gifted it to me fifteen years ago, and I bought it back purely out of nostalgia. It smells of white flowers, citrus, and very intense soapy and talcum-powder notes. It reminds me of Nivea cream, insecticide, and Dove soap, but it doesn’t disgust me. I feel they’ve reformulated it; I remember it as more animal and sensual, whereas now it feels more innocent. Still, the trail and longevity are brutal. Be careful with the amount, or you’ll flood the room.

  • La Clochard

It’s not bad; it’s soft but doesn’t speak to me, and at first, it put me off. Overall, it’s wearable and you could gift it to anyone. It just doesn’t fit the Glow concept of brilliance; it should be more exuberant and isn’t. Nothing sexy, it’s an innocent fragrance. What a pity about the beautiful bottle that highlights JLo’s curves. It does have that freshly showered scent, though that wasn’t my first thought. The good thing is it lasts five hours without issue for the price. It could work for layering since it’s neutral; putting something stronger over it, like citrus, would be nice, because the grapefruit note isn’t noticeable as it should be at first.

  • Melina Mores

I was gifted a sample, and besides bringing back the 2000s, it has that strange touch: it doesn’t smell bad, it’s a pleasant blend, but be careful not to overdo the sprays as it can be invasive. Ideal for personal spaces, and at 40, don’t overdo the application. 😉

  • I met Glow through an aunt who had it years ago; I’ve always liked it for that clean scent, like baby powder. In 2024, I decided to rebuild my collection and started with it for two reasons: I wanted a fresh scent for the house, and the price is a steal. Upon smelling it again, it seemed stronger than before, but with time and maceration, the sensation faded. If I define it: orange blossom with talcum powder. I love it for hot days after a shower or for sleeping; I don’t wear it out much because it makes me feel too trendy, it’s more for personal enjoyment at home. The trail and longevity are generous; I sleep in it and it still smells soft the next day. I think it’s appropriate all year round, although in spring it has a special charm: at my parents’ house there was an orange tree that bloomed then, and I remember that delicious, romantic, and fresh scent that evoked childhood memories for me; now I enjoy it without complications.

  • I followed the notes and reviews… I love neroli and orange blossom, but on my skin I only detect jasmine, amber, and a heavy musk. It has a soapy touch and something familiar I couldn’t identify… until I remembered: it smells like hairdresser curling tongs, those old wooden ones that are used. That’s why some find it reminiscent of disinfectant or insecticide; strictly speaking, it smells like hair bleach. It’s not a scent that stands out or evolves; I’ll leave it as a bathroom air freshener. A Meh! For me. I won’t buy it again.

  • I was looking for something cleaner, but it smells like soap, as if you’ve washed with Dove. It doesn’t convince me.

  • It smells like creamy Dove soap. What a pleasant surprise to try fragrances without prejudice. Ignoring the packaging that doesn’t match the contents, let me tell you what it smells like: a moment of ‘you’ve just come back from the beach, used Dove, and put on Nivea or an aftersun… ET VOILÀ!’. Yes, it smells a bit synthetic, like drugstore stuff you don’t know if they’ll keep around soon. But it sticks and has its point, listen! Within this style sits Nivea Eau de Toilette; soapy, musky fragrances for informal use and personal pleasure. Luxury? No. Guilty pleasure? Maybe. Do I wear it and like it? Also yes.

  • Brigitte Betancur

I absolutely love it 🥰. It evokes a woman with soft skin. It smells clean, sweet, with that talc note that I adore.

  • Allure_Laura

I bought it blindly because of the reputation that it smells clean. It reminds me of soap bars, Dove-style creams, or floral versions of Nivea. If you like those scents, you’ll love Glow. It’s very cheap at the moment. The longevity on clothes exceeds 24 hours. It’s not formal; it’s for enjoyment and daily wear. It’s very versatile, suitable all year round except in extreme heat. For me, it extends the feeling of post-shower wellbeing, very pleasant, although the opening is intense and can be startling. I won’t repurchase when it runs out, although I’ve rarely repeated perfumes in my life.

  • This fragrance confuses me. Sometimes I understand it as a bouquet of white talcated flowers, warm and clean. Other times I sense a blast of disinfectant, a sterile and artificial smell. It doesn’t settle for me, and on top of that, it lasts a long time on my skin; on bad days it has given me nausea. It’s too intense; I don’t recommend it for heat.

  • ClauZorros

They sold this to me as fresh and clean, but it smells like aerosol insecticide. I didn’t like it at all; I used it as a bathroom air freshener.

  • It smells like body creams, clean, then moderates and gains definition with the amber and vanilla base. Brutal longevity. I use it daily.

  • Dama Incognita

Here I want to distinguish ‘talcated’ from ‘soapy’, which are often confused on websites. This fragrance is more soapy than talcated. It’s fresh, clean, and slightly astringent due to the citrus. You can detect the orange blossom and a bit of rose. It reminds me of low-cost Venus soaps. It’s not unpleasant, but not for formal occasions; I use it after a shower to relax and sleep. Today I reviewed perfumes I bought in a body lotion and gel set, because their trail is weak and longevity low, but it’s worth it for the price.

  • It’s a fragrance that confuses me: it smells clean, very pleasant and relaxing. But I feel an excess, from the start, of a very powdery rose with a synthetic nuance that eclipses the other notes. Longevity is excellent; it lasts a long time on skin and clothes.

  • Forget my comment from two years ago… I love it today! With that kind of love where I’d buy it a thousand times. My nose has evolved… Glow is a creamy, clean foam bath that relaxes you and restores the freshness that summer steals.

  • whisper_of_love

I tried this summer and thought it was very good: longevity, trail, and aroma. But it’s not for me. Like with other clean scents, I think it’s the neroli or the floral blend that gives me a headache. With respect, I don’t agree that those who like D&G Light Blue will like this; they are very different clean scents: D&G is citrus and fresh, this JLo is floral and soapy. Edit: I re-read and realised I misunderstood a comment about D&G. I’m sorry for the confusion! I thought they cited JLo as similar, but basically I said the same thing: it’s not citrus but floral. My apologies.

  • I’ve had it for months, gifted to me along with Enduring Glow. If I have to choose, I prefer Glow as it suits daily wear better and its notes feel less synthetic. While both are fresh, Glow is more soapy and Enduring Glow sweeter. It’s a generic fragrance, its scent reminiscent of the smell after a shower or bar soap on the skin. If you want that freshly bathed smell, this affordable option or the body lotion will suffice. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s a perfume, but the first impression was the typical catalogue rose for ladies. Now, after a rainy afternoon, I enjoy it for sleeping with the fresh air from the balcony. It doesn’t project, it’s skin scent. Being relaxing, I use it at home or post-shower, although there are better body mists. I wouldn’t buy it, it’s for personal enjoyment while you have it in hand.

  • Captures that lily note that reminds me of the original Anais Anais. Smells like rose soap and gives a sense of cleanliness, mind you, it’s not fresh. It’s very floral, perhaps for those seeking something citrusy like the DG Light Blue.

  • I don’t want to compare it to others, just to affirm that it’s a clean, floral, and soapy aroma. Ideal after a shower to perpetuate that fresh scent on the body. I find it comfortable for doing housework at home. It’s quite synthetic, but for the price, one can’t ask for more.

  • To me, it’s a super bitter grapefruit with white flowers. A clean smell but so astringent that it makes me feel uncomfortable. Extremely synthetic.

  • If it smells clean and creamy, it’s more accurate to say it smells like Dove cream. It’s not a perfume out of this world, but I loved it because it takes me out of the floral, sweet, and citrus zone. It’s for everyday use and versatile, it’s Dove made into a perfume. And it’s affordable, I paid 28 dollars at a department store in Mexico.

  • kelevrabby

Searching for soapy perfumes online I found Glow and bought it blindly. Upon trying it, a talcum powder smell like old lady nail polish came to mind that put me off. On the other hand, it smelled like sunscreen, which I do love. As I use it every day I notice more of that clean scent (white flowers and sandalwood) and practically it no longer smells like nail polish. Still, no matter how much cologne I spray, I never smell enough and I don’t see projection. I like it to prolong the shower moment, wear it around the house, or sleep with it, it’s fine for smelling it on yourself or spraying clean sheets. For the price I didn’t expect much, I’ll enjoy it but I don’t think I’ll buy it again, though we’ll see in summer. PS: I don’t understand those who say it smells like insecticide, not at all!

  • My passion for perfumes has gone through several stages; now I’m obsessed with soapy scents. I wanted to try it a year ago and bought it blindly online at a good price. Indeed, it’s a little bar of soap, like a body cream. It’s very linear: the opening is strong but lasts 15 minutes with that sensation, then it softens. I can’t distinguish the notes well, only the rose. It’s pleasant but feels somewhat vintage. On my skin it has great longevity; in the end, a strange little scent remains but it doesn’t bother me. This perfume is a magnet for compliments.

  • Glow had the makings of dazzling me and didn’t deliver, not because it’s unpleasant but due to its imbalance and lack of substance. It’s as if someone had dealt a blow to its base and it lacks support. Sometimes I notice almost imperceptible bursts of sandalwood or musk, but they appear fleetingly without solidity. As for the rest of the base notes, no trace. If Glow were a toy, it would be a teeter-totter: it wobbles and you don’t know where it’s going. The aroma is very pretty, I can’t fault it there, and it could be more beautiful if it weren’t synthetic, although it’s not among the worst I’ve smelled. It doesn’t remind me of insecticide or repellent, as others comment. In the opening I do detect a hint of citronella where there should be grapefruit. I don’t dislike citronella, but it’s often used to substitute more expensive citrus essences. I don’t claim this is what it is, but I do say the opening could have been more subtle with lemon, lime, or petitgrain essence. The orange blossom and neroli are a prelude to something that could have been and wasn’t: a meagre bouquet of neroli and jasmine without zest or consistency. Does it leave a sense of cleanliness? Yes, but I don’t find the body milk creaminess that so many comment on; its trail on me is that of a shower gel, not even a mist. From the second it’s on, it’s skin scent with no projection. More than a Jennifer movie, after half an hour it’s most like another, but of Chuck Norris: it disappears in combat. Perhaps my bottle, bought 5 months ago, came off the production line years ago as it’s no longer in physical stores. Or it’s a pH thing, I don’t know. As an aroma it works for me, but it’s a pity it limps so much as it seems an embryo of Gucci Bloom that never prospered. Perhaps other skins will have more luck, it’s pretty. Meanwhile I use it for sleeping and it fulfils its purpose.

  • It smells clean to the max, it’s like prolonging the shower moment all day. It’s a creamy, talcum-dusted and crystal clear scent. I bought it last year to try and, without realising it and having a decent collection, I’ve already spent more than half of the 100ml bottle. I’ve used it a lot in the mornings all year, it’s impossible for it to bother anyone and it’s noticeable, but I feel the perfect time is summer for that cleaning effect without falling into the typical Light Blue trap. I’ll definitely replace it again and again, I love it!

  • Candycandy40

Top celebrity perfume. It’s floral, soapy, and powdery—a bouquet of white flowers that smells clean and spring-like. I absolutely love JLo perfumes, and this is one of the best.

  • Monsedoll85

I tried it back in 2005 and it was a resounding NO. I added it to my blacklist because it smelled indefinable, like perfume from an old lady. In the shop, I literally went to the bathroom to wash it off with soap and water. I wish they had reformulated it, but I’m not even tempted to try it again.

  • It smells powdery and clean. The longevity is 8 hours or more on the skin and lasts days on clothes. I recommend it more for daytime wear in any season.

  • amatista77

I bought it blindly due to the hype and… no… NO… it’s not for me. I prefer gourmand scents, though I’ve loved some citrus, dark woody, and masculine notes. This smells like soap, and not the fine kind. It disappointed me. EDIT: We’re getting to know each other and it no longer just smells like soap; now I can detect the white flowers. We’re heading towards a relationship.

  • I’m obsessed with this perfume, although I notice it’s a bit synthetic. I wore it in winter (it’s too much for summer daytime) and it’s the most praised in my collection. It smells like clean clothes, detergent, Barbie, second skin, but with a fantastic, crystal-clear, hyper-feminine shine. It’s nude. No one knows if you’re wearing perfume or just had a shower, but you smell delicious. It’s different from the rest: at night it baffles everyone, even though it’s a daytime scent. I don’t understand why so many men and women love it. People compliment me excessively, which fascinates me. To me, it’s sweet and clean, yet it has something sexual and carnal. As someone said: ‘What perfume are you wearing that smells so good, you’re mad?!’. A colleague said it smelled like insecticide, but I brushed it off because I like it so much. Sometimes I wear weird perfumes like Kenzo Jungle and I don’t care. When people compliment me like that, no one complains. I feel gorgeous in it. It’s not for those who want to be unnoticed. It’s fine if you like clean and creamy scents. A bit citrusy, floral, soft, bright, fine, clean, and creamy. Great performance and extraordinary longevity. Moderate-to-high sillage. Everything at a low price. Finishing it and replenishing it is what matters.

  • Creamy, softly floral, and sweet. It’s not fine, but it’s a basic for going to work feeling clean. It doesn’t smell natural or sexy, but it is feminine and wearable. A matter of taste. It lasts little on me, focusing on a touch of sandalwood and vanilla at the end.

  • I tried this perfume a few days ago and I didn’t like it at all. Sorry! It smells ‘X’. I agree with whoever said it smells like insecticide, haha…

  • JLo Glow is one of my favourites. It runs out and I already buy the next one. People say I smell good and want to know what perfume it is. I met it years ago in a duty-free shop and it was love at first sniff. It smells fresh, spring-like, powdery, clean, like just out of the shower, and lasts all day. Plus, it doesn’t cost a fortune.

  • Editing my comment: I let myself be swayed by the reviews and yes, it is a clean perfume for summer and spring. The price is okay, but the body lotion scent is too synthetic. Although its longevity isn’t great (more on clothes), it has the capacity to overwhelm without leaving compliments or letting others feel it. I’ll try to use it and then move on.

  • I don’t love it, it’s not my favourite. But for some reason, it’s one of the perfumes that has earned me the most compliments. Even an aunt asked me to get it for her. It’s one of the soapy perfumes. You’ll smell fresh and clean. Ideal for hot climates or summer nights.
