It feels like Halloween has gone on holiday in the tropics.

I loved it. It’s sweet and fresh citrus with a hint of acidity that settles into a fruity sweetness. The base ties everything together nicely. I enjoy citrus, sweet spices, and dry powdery florals that contribute without dominating. This one is a huge favourite of mine.

It’s fresh, summery, somewhat citrusy but with sweet strawberries. I like it; it smells nice. Sillage is moderate to light, but the longevity is a pity, only 4 hours on me. If it weren’t for the longevity, I’d buy it again. They don’t share notes, but their dry-down, sillage and longevity are very similar to Ralph Lauren’s Ralph.

It smells purely of apple. I don’t detect the pineapple, violet, or vanilla. Although they say there’s no apple, the opening smells of green apple and something herbal. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t impress me. It’s not romantic or sexy, just fresh and clean.

I wore it for a long time and it was wonderful; I would buy it again.

Not as tropical and fun as its sibling Live Luxe. This Live by JLo is a floral citrus with a powdery touch from the violet; I sense it more floral than citrus. Caramel is noticeable at the base, but it’s not the Prada Candy sweetness. Good value for money, but I’ll stick with Live Luxe, which is much more radiant.

My opinion is complex because it changes with the weather and what you’re wearing. It’s a good perfume and lasts quite a while, but for me, it’s only delicious in the heat; then it becomes refreshing. The pineapple predominates; it’s acidic yet sweet, and the peony does wonders. In summer, it’s enchanting, but in the cold, I reject it; it seems bitter to me.

It is sweet, fruity, and citrusy all at once (giving it a freshness), without being cloying, yet it doesn’t stand out. It smells like an affordable perfume and it is, though the scent is nice, it just lacks that distinctive something to be memorable. What I detect most is the pineapple. Its longevity is average. I don’t see it as purely youthful, but rather suitable for all ages; I use it casually, daily, and in spring.

Ideal for spring-summer (perhaps more for spring than summer), as with high temperatures and if over-applied, it can become overpowering. In my case, the trail lasts about two hours with 5-6 hours of longevity on the skin, although it lasts all day on clothes. In winter, it struggles to lift off as much as in spring-summer, which is why I prefer it in that season. To be considered celebrity-worthy, it is more than acceptable. I see it for any age: fresh, very fruity, slightly talcied, and sweet. From my point of view, it is ideal for someone of a certain age who feels youthful; the talcied violet note makes me think of someone more adult, but the fruitiness suits someone young. In fact, by the bottle and the scent, it would suit Wendy from Peter Pan perfectly, a fairy of considerable age but with a youthful appearance, and the bottle seems designed for them. It is very daily, but in the heat, one must be careful with over-application so it does not become overwhelming. In the scent, the pineapple and the citrus top note are very noticeable, with the pineapple remaining in the base. A few minutes later, the violet emerges, talcying the pineapple and mixed with blackcurrant and peony, all sweetened by caramel, vanilla, and a light sandalwood. I imagine a slice of pineapple with traces of violet caramel that talcys it, over a base of vanilla with traces of sandalwood and lemon juice, adorned with a peony and a few red blackcurrants. If you like fruity, slightly talcied, and sweet scents as well as citrus ones, it cannot be missing from your collection, especially in spring.

First time buying blind and it has disappointed me (what luck that it is not my only mistake). It lacks power, projection, and longevity, and I do not detect the pineapple or caramel that attracted me. It is basically citrus with a soapy touch that dries out and smells a bit off, disappearing quickly. Neither sweet nor gourmand. Perhaps if I mix it with some vanilla or caramel it would work better. For now, a definite no. Update: After moisturising properly, the longevity has improved, but the scent still does not please me. I detect the pineapple among the citrus notes, but also a metallic and bitter base. If there is pineapple, it is tin pineapple. It smells of detergent and baby cologne. I have tried mixes and they have been much nicer; they give longevity to short-lasting vanillas and add interesting sweetness and citrus notes. Fortunately. I will use it mixed, although the only nice thing is the bottle. I expected more and probably will not be interested in J-Lo perfumes again. My mother had it and it is beautiful. An original, fresh, and feminine fragrance. I love it.

I bought it today as a gift. I am not a huge fan of J-Lo, but in my opinion, it smells very nice. Pleasant to my nose.

Fruity with lots of pineapple and a hint of caramel, but not gourmand; smells like clean soap, JLo style, as if just out of the shower. Ideal for heat as my other perfumes are too sweet. The longevity is good and the bottle looks gorgeous.

Another winner for Mr Dominique. I love it, it’s striking, smells like a cocktail of fresh and sweet tropical fruits. It’s a bit strong, suitable for casual outings, parties or strolls. It’s very lovely, I’ll definitely buy it again. It suits extroverted, cheerful girls, nothing for the conservative types. Nothing like his brother Live Lux which I bought by mistake.

I’m fascinated by it; undoubtedly pineapple dominates, but it’s forbidden for me as my mum loves it and now I have to keep buying it for her.
