  I tried a decant today. Upon opening it, I thought: ‘Wow!’. Without reading the notes, it smelled of a creamy, mentholated mojito, with a rum-like alcoholic touch over a sweet, creamy base. However, once applied to the skin, the mojito vanished, giving way to a cappuccino. It smells nice, but it’s a generic woody milk coffee scent I’ve smelled before—a disappointment. Performance and longevity are good, with a notable sillage. The originality lies in the blue hue of the liquid… although yes, it stains! Skin and clothes. Aroma: 7, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Value for money: 4, Originality: 5, Versatility: 6, Overall: 7.5.

  At first, the coffee is noticeable, but it’s not dominant or pure; it’s more apparent on the wrist than in the neck sprays. There’s a strange base note that doesn’t fit well; it could be the mint or the marine element. Over time, it becomes sweet, the coffee blends with the milk and smells like a cappuccino with a sweet background like a gummy bear. The mental image is drinking a cappuccino and eating sugar-coated gummy bears. Perhaps the caramelised apple (which it does contain) gives that sensation, nothing like the acidic apple in other perfumes. I see it as unisex, ideal for cold climates, spring or cool summer evenings. Longevity is good for the whole day in the office, although it’s not a beast in projection. I like the dry-down more than the opening; I give it a pass, but I don’t think it deserves 250€ for 50ml. Everyone judges as they please.

  A great disappointment for me. Poor quality, bad longevity and little creativity. I was fooled by the marketing: the bottle is beautiful, but in the end, what matters is what we smell, not what we see.

  A good perfume. At first, there are pleasant flashes reminiscent of something I can’t quite identify, perhaps an unmentioned fruity touch. Then it stabilises and lasts for hours. It’s a soft coffee with a darker, more distinctive background. Although it has quality and presence, the declared notes aren’t striking; it’s hard to perceive the mint or the marine aspects, even though they form part of the whole. The price is a resounding mystery: 5€/ml is outrageous. I’d pay up to 70€ for the 50ml bottle for the pretty presentation. Brands know that the business lies in selling the luxury dream to the most affluent.

  It’s a great perfume; despite its exorbitant price which might make you hesitate, it smells like a mojito and milky coffee at a table by the sea. The only thing I don’t understand, regarding the creators, is that it stains blue.
