I just bought and tried it; I absolutely loved it. It’s Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan but enhanced. Basically, it’s Qaed Al Fursan with a very clean lavender (not the Phantom type, which I find too ‘chocolatey’). I don’t think it’s similar to Erba Pura, as the latter has no lavender or patchouli but lots of vanilla (it’s noticeable, it’s sweet). Edit: The patchouli is very noticeable; it’s like adding more lavender to Black XS L’Excess.
I tried it today in Liverpool and it reminded me of YSL Y EDP, one of my favourites. It’s a good option at a lower price; it doesn’t have the same olfactory quality but follows the same path.
It’s versatile. The dominant note is peach blossom mixed with lavender, hazelnut, mandarin, and a pleasant spicy kick of pepper, masked by sweet geranium and fresh vetiver. I don’t recommend buying it blindly because the perfume oxidises and changes significantly, and the peach note can become very dominant.
I like it. At first, it smells very much like Y EDP with hints of Sauvage EDT. I suppose it contains ambroxan even if they don’t say so. The name and marketing are misleading; I expected something dark and mysterious, but it’s a fruity blue scent. Now that it’s new, I think they’re charging a bit too much. Except in cold weather, it suits everything, any age, and any season. Performance is average, not as bad as some YouTube reviews claimed. You need several sprays, but after four hours it’s still there until 6 or 7 (though more projection would be ideal). By the way, around Halloween, they seem to mock the fact that it’s a copy of Y EDP: they add an extra ‘Y’ to the name and another on the box with the text ‘you only know WHY’, which is far too obvious.
I usually resell perfumes and this was a best-seller. It smells like Lattafa Al Fursan but with better quality and without being so aggressive. It’s the kind of fragrance women love and often buy for their husbands.
They let me try it in a store and I don’t know if it was my skin or it mixed with another, but I found it very bad. The opening was synthetic and oxidised, smelling of chlorine with a sour milk-like acidic touch. The dry-down improved a bit, but I still don’t like it: synthetic sweet notes and herbal-woody touches.
Pleasant surprise: alongside the classic Halloween and the X, this Mystery is one of my top three. I was surprised by its elegance, although the opening isn’t its strong point. It feels familiar and has a certain air of Bvlgari Man In Black without stretching anything. Performance on skin is poor, but on clothes it might last longer. If you like Bvlgari, buy blind.
I love this perfume. Are there better ones? Yes. Are there worse? Many more. But it’s the one that guarantees compliments from both genders. On my skin, it lasts about 4 hours (after the fifth hour, it’s close to the skin). It’s an 85% copy of YSL Y. All-weather, never fails.
I own this perfume and I love it. Are there better ones? Yes. Are there worse ones? Countless. But it’s that perfume that guarantees compliments from both genders. In my case, it lasts about four hours (from five onwards, it’s skin scent only). It’s an 85% copy of YSL Y. All-rounder, never fails.
The scent is rich, but the longevity and trail are almost non-existent. I sprayed 20 times and my wife said she could barely smell it. It’s like a Rock On but darker; not worth it if you want to be noticed.
I have it and it’s versatile and sweet; women love it. On my skin, it lasts 5-6 hours: strong projection for 1.5-2 hours, then it settles on skin and clothes until the next day. Ideal for autumn, winter, and summer evenings.
In my opinion, Halloween Mystery is underrated. When I try it, I like it a lot; it’s versatile, has some weight, and is ideal for mid-seasons. The scent doesn’t disappoint, and while the longevity isn’t the best, it’s passable for the price. I’d give it a chance: it earns compliments from everyone.
Good perfume; it reminds me a lot of Paco Rabanne’s Black XS. Longevity is acceptable, around 6-7 hours on skin, and it delivers what it promises without any surprises.
It’s a striking, youthful, and nocturnal perfume, heavy on pepper, pineapple, and lavender at the start. Then comes the nutty fruit and a rich patchouli that gives it body and is the best part. There’s not much mystery here: it smells like a clone of Dylan Blue and Black XS L Excess.
Halloween Mystery smells decent for everything, though it’s not excellent at anything. Forget the box’s mystery: it’s fruity, fresh, with lavender and a woody-sweet touch. If you’re looking for something like Dylan Blue for daily wear, it does the job, but if you want something specific, there are better options. It lasts about 7 hours with 5 sprays, leaving a discreet trail and lingering on clothes until the next day.
Halloween Man is a top choice for anyone seeking freshness, spices, and mandarin sweetness. Its versatility makes it ideal for day and night, leaving a trail that makes a good impression. Thanks to JESÚS DEL POZO, they achieve 8-9 hours of longevity; it’s the first Halloween EDP with a genuinely good trail.
Delicious! I don’t understand how it can be so cheap and so good. It reminds me of Y EDP and Dylan Blue. 10/10.
I’m smelling it on a tester strip given in the store and it smells very similar to Dylan Blue. They currently have a promotion with a gift for the 50 ml version. I think I’ll buy it.
Exquisite! How can it be so cheap and so good? It reminds me of Y EDP and Dylan Blue. 10/10.
It belongs to the blue fragrances. It could remind me of Y EDP Intense, Sauvage, Myself, Bad Boy Cobalt, Ralph Club, Polo Blue, or Acqua di Gio, but it has a more masculine and deeper touch. It could even evoke Club de Nuit for that peppery note that adds mystery. It’s a great perfume. If you’re looking for something fresh, non-sweet, and masculine for parties, this is the option. I recommend it blindly. Who wouldn’t like it? Only those who rule out a perfume because it’s a Halloween release by Jesús del Pozo.
Well, every nose is different, and honestly, I didn’t like this flanker. I sensed a very aggressive, almost alcoholic and synthetic spicy orange. I have a decant and have tried it twice, but it still hasn’t quite taken; I’ll give it a third attempt.
At first it smells like foot powder, the fruity notes are very prominent, and it’s super versatile, but that first impression has stuck in my head and won’t go away.
On my skin it smells like chlorine mixed with spices; I found it totally unpleasant. Definitely test before spending.
Very good fragrance; it smells fantastic once dry and I’ve received many compliments. On sale, it’s a top choice if you like sweet scents, although it might be a bit overwhelming for some. All in all, I recommend trying it at least once.
Beware! It’s not a safe blind buy. It smells sweet, strong, and almost woody. It’s not bad, but it’s more of the same as Halloween. Ideal for the first summer; on skin it notes as citrusy and more pleasant than in the bottle. I recommend it for daily wear, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again.
It’s a Rexona deodorant sold at a ridiculous price, costing five or six times more than it should.
Smells sweet and rich; people always ask what I’m wearing. The price is spot on, though on my skin it’s a bit short-lived; it’s a bomb for the first half-hour but then becomes more subtle. I always wear it after work for visitors, so my skin isn’t freshly washed. Still, it’s a safe blind buy.
It doesn’t hold up over time; the 100ml bottle feels endless. I like it less and less with each use.
It lasts five minutes and then it’s gone.
Fruity geranium. I received this as a Christmas present. It’s very versatile and lasts about five hours if sprayed normally; on clothes, twelve sprays will keep it going all day. It doesn’t typically garner compliments, but it has been well-received. It’s said to sit in the same line as Y, Mega, and Fahkar. It’s a budget option—I’ve seen it for $34—but I wouldn’t buy it myself as I already have others. Recommended for those entering the world of fragrances. I hate geranium plants, yet this scent is absolutely delicious. 9/10: I hate nothing about it; I love it. It’s not poor quality; geranium is uncommon and smells wonderful. I adore it, but I’ve decided I prefer Kenzo, Halloween Man X, Sauvage Elixir, and so on. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it, somewhat contradictorily.
The dry-down is excellent; it reminds me a lot of Valentino Coral Fantasy.
I was gifted a tester and didn’t pay it much attention at first, but after reviewing it, it’s the first one I’ve used. It has a powerful, citrusy, sweet, and very synthetic opening (I like it, though not everyone does). There’s a slightly ‘dirty’, earthy, and unusual note, which I suppose comes from the vetiver and patchouli. Once dried, it becomes very subtle, sweet, and inoffensive. It’s neither long-lasting nor does it leave a huge trail, but the scent really surprised me. I imagine it as a brown plastic banana—sweet, soft, synthetic, yet organic at the same time. Given the price, I think I’ll buy the full bottle.
Simply a delicious, cheap, and very long-lasting fragrance. For the price, there’s no equal quality; its projection and longevity have nothing to envy from a designer brand. It lasts 12 hours on skin with four hours of projection. It’s an unknown beast: it starts with intense mandarin and dries down to sweet, cosy fruity notes. Versatile and economical, I give it my 10/10.
Very easy to wear. The first hour projects too much, then it settles into a fruitier scent. It’s delicious.
Easy to wear. The first hour projects too much, then it settles into a fruitier, rich scent.
I tried it in a store before and liked it: rich, with that lavender that recalls fougère but fruitier and spicier. The issue is the longevity and sillage; although it’s an EDP, it’s very discreet. All reviews say it projects a lot at the start, but I don’t feel it, nor do others notice it despite me applying it generously. For the price, it’s okay, but it lacks projection. It disappointed me a little.
A sweet fragrance with a pineapple opening that reminds me of Dior Sauvage and Qaed Al Fursan. For the price, it’s excellent; it lasts about seven hours and projects quite a bit in the first hour and a half.
A perfect blend of Qaed Al Fursan and Y EDP: fresh, clean with hints of lavender and apple. It lasts incredibly long for the price and doesn’t need reapplying. Its DNA makes it very easy to wear, regardless of the weather or occasion; it’s a blue scent without being one, versatile and refreshingly crisp. 10/10 for aroma, 8/10 for price, 7/10 for projection, 8/10 for longevity. If you’re looking for that clean vibe like Y EDP, it’s 100% recommended.
