Descripción
Intuition for Men by Estée Lauder is a woody oriental fragrance for men. Launched in 2003, this composition was created by Yves Cassar, Lois Evans, Pierre Wargnye and Alienor Massenet. The top notes unfold with amber, cucumber, sage, calendula, aldehydes, nutmeg and cardamom; the heart reveals amber, apple, patchouli and cedar; while the base notes complete the structure with amber, raisin, incense, myrrh and labdanum.

It’s a truly majestic scent; I’d wear it a thousand times more.
Intuition for Men is a pleasant fragrance with a soft and fresh opening, very fruity; I thought it smelled of tangerine but it isn’t listed, although the cucumber is notable. Gradually a warm and woody character appears giving it an oriental nature, although it is a soft oriental, not heavy or intrusive, and it has elegance. In my opinion it suits any season, it has freshness and warmth, it can be for day or night, and I even think it can please both young and older people. Its longevity was good, superior to eight hours with a single application, and it is one of those fragrances that anyone can like. In style it reminds me a bit of Solo by Loewe. In summary, it is a ‘good fragrance’.
Intuition for Me seemed pleasant to me, with a soft and fresh opening, very fruity; I thought it smelled of tangerine, but it’s not listed, though the cucumber does stand out. Gradually, a warm and woody character emerges, giving it an oriental nature, although it’s soft, not heavy or intrusive, with elegance. In my view, it suits any season, offering both freshness and warmth, works by day or night, and I believe both young people and adults will enjoy it. The longevity is good, lasting over eight hours with a single application, and it’s one of those fragrances that anyone could like. In style, it reminds me a bit of Solo by Loewe. In short, it’s a good fragrance.
This scent is delicious, I love it. It is fresh but not like the fashionable ones today, it is elegant to wear with a suit and tie giving a sporty air. Totally recommended.
One of the best I own, versatile; the scent lingers on clothes the next day, with performance above average. I still have my bottle from 2016. Discontinued in Peru.
One of my best, it is versatile and the scent fixes on clothes the next day, so the performance is above average. I still have my bottle from 2016. Discontinued in Peru.
Very good fragrance: fresh, sweet, woody and very sensual. It doesn’t project too much but has good longevity. Recommended.
One of my best purchases of the year. Elegant, westernised oriental, a very successful blend of warmth and freshness. It smells sweet but not cloying, nor does it feel gourmand. The balances and transitions are subtle and very well assembled. If I had to choose a perfume for any occasion, I would choose this one.
One of my best purchases of the year. Elegant, oriental with a Western touch, a perfect blend of warmth and freshness. It smells sweet without being cloying or feeling gourmand. The balances and transitions are subtle and well-crafted. If I had to choose a perfume for any occasion, it would be this one.
I bought it blindly guided by favourable reviews on this forum, but it seems not everyone has the same sense of smell or tastes. And how good, because it turned out awful for me. It smells like an old doctor, totally dated. It’s the typical cheap cologne sold by catalogue. I won’t buy anything without testing it first.
Undoubtedly a unique perfume with that rare and fresh aroma: calendula, cucumber, amber and sage. Its aromatic bubble reaches about half a metre and lasts around five hours before settling on the skin. I would use it again, it is one of the good ones. The downside is that the fixative isn’t more potent, that would be ideal, otherwise it would be one of my top 10.
Nice scent, clean and sweet but serious, reminds me a bit of Hypnose Men. Ideal for work, it has a noticeable presence for a couple of hours and then settles close to the skin.
Fresh, rich and unique, nothing like anything I’ve smelled before. It says 2003 but doesn’t smell old at all. I use it daily for work and it suits me perfectly; I don’t understand why it isn’t more well-known, I was very surprised. I would buy it again if I could find it.
The stars are a slightly sweet amber, cucumber, and apple, giving it a fresh aquatic fruity touch. Looking at the ratings, I was surprised that something so amber was rated more for spring, and indeed it is; I imagine it for sunny, fresh days. A very lovely scent, although unfortunately the apple note always makes a fragrance smell cheaper or generic, but setting that aside, I was surprised by this aquatic amber. Projection and longevity are low; I spotted it in a corner of the shelf with some boxes gathering dust, and I didn’t miss the chance to pick up this discontinued gem.
Sweet amber, cucumber and aquatic apple. Surprising that such an amber scent is for spring, but yes, ideal for sunny, fresh days. Very pretty, although the apple sometimes makes it sound generic; setting that aside, I loved this aquatic amber. Projection and longevity are low, I spotted it in a corner of the shelf gathering dust and didn’t miss the chance to pick it up, as it was already discontinued.
