  I’d been eyeing the Rasasi Junoon line for some time, so I jumped in with this blind buy without knowing what to expect from that tomato leaf and iris root note. On paper, it smells dark, earthy, and damp at first, but with that iris root, soft leather, and herbal touches, plus a timid vanilla and rosehip at the base. On skin, it evolves into a vanillic leather with spices; initially it’s dark, woody, balsamic, slightly ambered, and dusted by the blend of labdanum, iris root, benzoin, and tomato. The leather reappears softly at the dry down with the creaminess of sandalwood and a touch of myrrh. In summary, it smells super natural, nothing synthetic, with great harmony between the notes. It brings niche quality, though it might be difficult for those not used to powerful leathers.

  Excellent! I’m keeping this as the only Arab perfumes in my collection. Brutal quality for the price, on par with any niche brand or even better. It opens with a dark vanilla but isn’t overly sweet, just enough to make it pleasant. The leather is super elegant, making it ideal for special occasions in cold weather. Top-tier perfume, giving it 10/10.
