A perfume that costs four pounds and which I love. When I use it, I get that feeling of clean clothes, freshly ironed. It’s fresh, with soft citrus, and don’t be fooled by the lavender note because it has nothing of “barbershop” or vintage. As a perfume for the office, job interview or daily use, it’s great. In fact, I swear it’s the one I wore to my current job interview 🤔
If you’re looking for a perfume that makes you smell CLEAN, pleasant to everyone, that DOESN’T DRUNK your office and that costs cheap, this should be your choice. Upon leaving, a bit of lavender mixed with bitter citrus is noticeable, giving a stinging and refreshing sensation. Lavender is the star and stays present in all stages. Afterwards, it intensifies and mint appears slightly; together with the lavender, they give an attar-like touch. Finally, vanilla is perceived slightly (almost imperceptible). Ideal for work, indoor or outdoor; it doesn’t stand out too much but isn’t very weak either. I recommend reapplying every 5 or 6 hours. Longevity: 5/10 (4-6 hours). Sillage: 5/10 (Projects for the first hour, then close to the skin). Price: 8/10 (25 dollars or less). Occasion: Autumn daytime, Spring and Summer daytime. Situation: Office, home office, shopping, outdoor meetings, work with people. Attire: informal to semi-formal. Age: From over 20 up to 40. Compliments: 7/10. Versatility: 7/10 (I’ve used it in winter on sunny days and it works well). Note: 7/10.
I bought it thanks to reviewer videos and certainly got it right: it’s clean, very sexy, charming and above all discreet. Morillas is a genius of perfumery, a jewel that you must have.
To the good Chilean: oh, what a beauty! How to explain what happened… I had Lanvin Oxygene and Eclat d’Arpege, plus several others, and felt I was missing something. I had Lanvin L’Homme in mind, but only as a backup. I went to a shop to smell various scents: Armaf Club de Nuit Intense, Montblanc Starwalker, Montblanc Explorer, Versace Pour Homme and Boss Bottled Unlimited. I won’t go into details, but the ones I liked were Starwalker and Versace… I was thinking of Versace for the price, but suddenly I remembered this Lanvin. Does it have one to try? Yes. He handed me the strip and I: oh, what a beauty! Totally unexpected; with all the others I smelled, by their reputation, I never thought this house, not overly massified and half abandoned, could generate such pleasure. I didn’t think twice and bought it. It was the last one they had, that very tester. I wanted it just as is, without the junk from the cap. What a lot. It’s a truly exquisite scent for me. I’d recommend it as a blind buy. In fact, when I returned to the car with my partner through the city centre, I felt a smell I didn’t know where it was coming from (I applied it to the back of my neck and the inner folds of my arms). I thought it might be from somewhere else until I asked her if that smell was coming from me; yes, it was me with Lanvin L’Homme. Out in the street, in the open air, it reached me, soothing me, making me happy, calming me and surprising me, bringing a big smile to my face. Without a doubt, it’s for daily use, accompanying and embracing you with a harmonious, fresh, green, sweet, fruity but not cloying scent. I see it well for hot, intermediate and cold climates, but not deep winter cold. Although perhaps who knows, perhaps I’ll be surprised. They told me in the shop they didn’t think they’d bring more, and I saw someone commenting on YouTube that they were discontinuing part of the men’s line, although I don’t know if this one will be included. So if you find it and aren’t sure, do it; you won’t regret it. It’s a charming scent. Hope my experience helps you.
I met it through reviewer Javier Orgaz, which for me was synonymous with guarantee. It’s masculine, with a strong lavender note that would raise a man’s testosterone. Clean and elegant, perfect as a signature fragrance if you’re over 28 (if you’re 27 and shaving-free, it works too). It lasts six hours on skin and all day on clothes. Good projection, it can be felt without being invasive. If you want the cologne version, buy the Salvatore Ferragamo one; you’ll have the same perfume 90% of the time but with an extra burst of bergamot. Both by Morillas, two little jewels.
It’s a good perfume with which you’ll never go wrong. If I were to define it, it would be floral, citrusy and fresh. Upon spraying, lavender comes out followed by neroli, finishing with the citrus. ⚠️What leaves much to be desired is its longevity and projection; it smells great on many, and it would be worth it if they gave it a bit of love and improved it ⚠️
Elegant subtlety made into perfume, in all its splendour: delicate, fine, pleasant, yet sharp and ingenious. The blend has a notable harmony between floral and citrus notes, seasoned with pepper and mint. Hours later, the base blooms, showing vanilla and musk profusely close to the skin, giving it that classic masculine elegance. I wouldn’t pigeonhole it as merely modern; it knows how to unite the classic: the blend between eau de Cologne and early woody-animal perfumes. Truly optimal, a work of art within everyone’s reach.
I met it in the middle of winter, so it wasn’t the best time. What I notice most is the lavender, although it’s accompanied by citrus that make a pleasant and fresh blend. Perhaps I’ll change my review when I use it in spring or warm days, because then I think I’ll appreciate it more. For now, the truth is it doesn’t impress me; it’s soft and lacks much personality, but it smells clean, undeniably. Yes, I also came across it thanks to Señor Orgaz.
Fresh, clean, subtle and elegant. A great option for everyday office wear. Citrus, herbal and floral notes, nothing invasive. I don’t know, but it reminds me of the classic Tommy Men; both are excellent.
From the very first whiff, I loved it: a safe scent that doesn’t bother anyone and suits all tastes, whatever your preference, to enjoy for yourself and others. I’ve received many compliments, at least in my case, and it lasts over six hours sometimes. It’s one of my favourites for hot weather (30-40°C) and humidity; it performs excellently. I don’t want to finish it and am already thinking about a second bottle.
I agree 100% with the latest reviews: my rating is subjective. It’s an Eau de Toilette, not an EDP, so after reformulations, don’t ask for the performance of other perfumes. To make it last, you’d have to bathe in it; otherwise, it lasts a short time. It’s rare, but a summer cologne is worn in winter and goes unnoticed. Of the declared notes, I only appreciate one that is linear and strong: “Softly intense lavender” (smells good and clean). It fills the space and projects strongly at the start, but it decays instantly and sticks to the skin for ten minutes. On clothes it lasts longer. It must be my nose or the environment at 30 degrees. I don’t remember the price; at less than 20 degrees, we can’t ask for much. I had my chance and passed it up frugally. There are better options for the same price. I’ll stick with another Lego: “It’s not bad, it smells little, it doesn’t bother and anyone can like it… but it’s soft lavender, flat, doesn’t smell special, doesn’t last, doesn’t project. I wouldn’t buy it again.” In conclusion, don’t waste money: it smells little, doesn’t project and adds nothing new. It smells softly very well, wishing to spend. Better alternative for price and quality: Essence Musk Ferrari.
A sublime fragrance. Regardless of being by Morillas, it’s terribly good. It surpasses Aqua Di Gio, Cool Water, CH 212, Nautica Voyage and other fresh/blue scents. Only Aqua Di Parma Essenza reaches this level. If you don’t need a sillage to charm or compliments these days, and value an exquisite, neat, clean and fresh scent without being cloying, this is your perfume. Wish it remained undervalued so few can enjoy it.
I have it; it doesn’t last anything. Maximum two hours close to the skin. Good scent, fresh, for summer, even for the gym. Nothing spectacular, just a good smell. I won’t buy it again; very generic and it doesn’t last past two hours. Mr Orgaz put a lot into it…
Listen, it smells very nice… but a two-hour fixative leaves me feeling underwhelmed versus the high price. I think other cheap brands fix better. Rating out of 10: a 4 at most.
A delightful citrus and very clean; it’s hard to dislike. The bergamot and neroli are delicious; it feels juicy. Strong at first, then delicious on the skin. The downside: poor longevity and zero projection. I used a decant at home just to smell it. If you have spare cash, use it post-shower or for a trip to the supermarket. It doesn’t last more than an hour on the skin.
I tried it in Tenerife at 24 degrees; it lasted 5–6 hours with moderate projection. I fell in love. Fresh and incredibly masculine. I bought it online in the summer of 2023 in Madrid. Although it’s a summer scent, it performs better in mild temperatures. In summer at 40 degrees, it doesn’t last an hour (it evaporates). This autumn I’ll try it again; it’s sure to improve. I’m already thinking about the SPORT version for greater longevity.
I bought it straight after its launch in the 90s and, when recreating that collection, I searched for it and bought it again. My olfactory memory doesn’t fail: quality, elegance, freshness, cleanliness and class remain intact. Upon spraying, it has the same vibe as back then. Without a doubt, another masterpiece by Alberto Morillas.
I acquired it recently and, unlike most, it lasts about five hours. It’s winter in Chile, so I suppose it would perform better in the heat. A rich, clean scent that works and won’t offend anyone. Very good price.
Turning a year older gives you perspective on key facts; this fragrance is exquisite, sensual and elegant, very easy to wear. Ethereal, almost celestial. What luck to have it debut in 1997. I can’t find it in stores and fear that reformulation has done it a disservice to its evolution. It was brief but very evolving.
Exquisite and refreshing; it’s my purchase of the year. It lasts about four hours on my skin and the value for money is laughable.
Bought in 2024, batch from 2022. It’s a nineties fragrance dominated by citrus, mint, and pepper. It’s a fresh-herbal, highly versatile perfume, ideal as a signature scent, as for 20 euros you get 100ml with average performance. 1-2 hours noticeable after leaving the house, and another 4 hours in a personal bubble. You can tell it’s a good quality-to-price ratio; it’s very similar to the HUGO by Hugo Boss but slightly more mature and less sweet. Guaranteed universal appeal, 100% enjoyable, fresh, clean, charming… nice presentation, good price… well done, Lanvin.
I bought it blind because of the good reviews I saw on YouTube and because I found it cheap. It doesn’t give me much. I think it occupies the place of a classic cologne, but I like it less and it performs worse than some very cheap ones like Álvarez Gómez. I’m using it to be at home or at work if I don’t have to be around people, just to refresh myself in the morning, but it’s not what I want to smell like in front of others. I imagine I’ll consume it or gift it to someone close to see how it smells on other people. The only standout thing I find is that I don’t think it will repel anyone; so it’s okay, but it’s not for me.
A fresh, clean fragrance I used for the first time at the gym, but due to its pepper note, I wouldn’t use it there again. Today I used it in the office and it was perfect… although when the heat picks up, the mandarin flashes appear, being this a fruit not yet fully ripe, with certain herbal notes that place the fruit still on the tree. Regarding performance, I found it adequate, although something very strange happened when I first sprayed it… it smelled strongly of alcohol (mind you, not an alcoholic note… literally alcohol), which made me check the batch and everything usual, resulting in an authentic fragrance; perhaps that day I shook the bottle too much?
It’s not as high quality as they paint it, but for the price, I suppose you can’t ask for much. I used it a couple of times; it smells somewhat clean and synthetic, but no more than that, nor does it stand out in longevity. I sold it shortly after getting it.
Bought blind; after using it occasionally for a few months, I have to admit it doesn’t quite convince me. It smells mostly of cardamomo over a herbal base with some flashes of very green mandarin. To me, it feels a bit simple. On the skin, it fades quickly, becoming skin-scent within minutes. On clothes, it does last longer. It gives a certain sense of cleanliness, though not formality. After all, it has a quite marked youthful-nineties vibe. If you love cardamomo and want to smell clean and tidy but not too formal… it could be worth it. Keep in mind it’s quite economical and created by none other than Alberto Morillas.
Good, pretty, and cheap. A modernised fougère mixed with a blue fragrance, without being the typical ambroxan, habanone bomb of current overuse. For going to work and looking like a proper gentleman, without pretension or childishness. Lanvin, classic French perfumery, without going for model aromas, ambiguous or weird niche scents for the rich.
A fragrance that reminded me of the 90s and 2000s, not because I’ve smelled it on many people, but because I immediately recognised it on my older brother, who has since passed away and never revealed it to me, so rediscovering it was like a tremendous gift for me. Now I’m adopting it little by little for myself, but with its latent signature, many beautiful memories. Beyond the personal and being more objective, it’s an exquisite lavender fragrance with woody, slightly resinous touches and good performance, especially on clothes where it persists the most. Springtime and for summer nights. The mint, sage, pepper, and cardamomo in the heart are totally distinguishable. You can feel the vanilla, sandalwood, and amber in the dry down (one of the few fragrances I understand hasn’t been reformulated excessively over the years). With oxidation, it gains more strength. It’s a unique aroma that, due to its current lack of use, has the advantage of being practically exclusive (I didn’t smell it in the last 20 years if not because I bought it). However, it doesn’t smell old… For casual to semi-formal occasions, I also see it well for the office. Longevity 5-7 hours for a laughable price.
I’ll talk about the experience this fragrance offers: this is truly a sophisticated, elegant jewel at an excellent price. Furthermore, where I live, it hasn’t become as mass-produced yet. It has a subtle, elegant, delicate character. It’s for a man who doesn’t fight or argue, a sensitive man, an artist, a painter… If you are someone who appreciates decoration, is sensitive to music, scents, nature, and children, this is for you. It has good longevity and moderate projection. It probably won’t be a compliment machine, but if people give you compliments, they are someone who, like you and me, appreciates the subtle, the serene, and tranquility. It’s not my favourite in the collection, but it does have a special place.
I bought a decant of this fragrance and didn’t like it at first, then I let it settle, or perhaps my nose changed, but now I love it. It smells very clean and serious, ideal for everyday wear and office work. It’s perfect for warm climates, though not excessive ones. The price-to-quality ratio is incredible; it has citrus notes and a floral base that blend beautifully, resulting in a very charming fragrance. I hope to acquire the full bottle soon.
Elegance and subtlety with a unisex, semi-vintage touch (just like me). Smells like colourful flowers and is perfect for winding down and enjoying alone, as its scent is very relaxing. I’m not sure if others will like it, but you will enjoy it. The performance isn’t exactly rocket science, but the price is spot on. If you buy blind, grab some ONCE coupons first.
Meets the BBB criteria: good, beautiful and cheap. It doesn’t bother, it’s usable and those who smell it like it. It’s herbal and fresh, special for the office in heat. Update: Today is the first fragrance I’m buying again. I’ve tried many and never repeated, as I know there are better ones, but although this isn’t a bomb or a projectone, it leaves a pleasant and ‘pacifying’ personal bubble. I already mentioned it’s special for the office, just like MontBlanc Starwalker, but Lanvin L’Homme is more elegant. I’ve looked for another similar one but more projecting and long-lasting, and none of the ones tried afterwards resemble it.
Lavender predominates with a subtle citrus touch. It doesn’t project much and then the scent fades (or it’s olfactory fatigue). I see it for over 20s. Perfect after a shower, at home, in the park, squares, cinema, meetings, dates, work or the beach. Goes with dress trousers or jeans, long-sleeve shirt, blazer, polo, t-shirt, V-neck or collar, casual, guayabera or linen. I don’t see it with a tuxedo or tailcoat, but it depends on each person. Ratings: Trail 2/5, Longevity 2/5, Versatile 4/5, Notes 4/5, Overall 3/5. If someone gifted it to me I’d use it again, but I’d buy it back much later or only if I can’t find a better option.
Reminds me of CH 212, but it’s not a dupe; it takes its own path with predominant citrus. I bought it blind after seeing it looked like the 212 on YouTube, but I think I should have paid more for the original. The 212 has good memories, it accompanied me years ago. If you don’t want to spend and want the 212 DNA, this is a good option; if money is no object, go for the CH one. Longevity: 4-5 hours. Projection: first hour.
I had forgotten about this fragrance and it deserves a review. For me, if the H2O of the universe had a scent, it would be this: simple and vast. Fresh, simple and good. What stands out most is the lavender, mint and bergamot. It’s a 90s aroma, so don’t expect heavy molecules or longevity. It lasts as long as it should.
Guys… is it worth it in 2025?
Clean and simple fragrance, signature style. I wear it in the heat. Very similar to MontBlanc Starwalker, about 90%, but without the bamboo or the sweetness of MB. It doesn’t invade, it just accompanies you in your bubble. Recommended for heat, the office, or medical staff as it won’t bother others. Available from $20.
Bought it after a review by Andrés C. and it smells very good. It has a strong similarity with Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction; they follow the same line but dry down differently, with the AB being more marine and this one more animalic and musky. Both are fresh. I bought it recently to see how it evolves. Safe blind buy.
Low trail but lots of sophistication. Smells elegant and well, without being annoying. Simple to wear, perfect for formality in the heat.
Excellent perfume
Smells great on me, very clean. It’s not a Starwalker nor as potent as Arabic scents. The trail is low and it doesn’t last long on my skin. Ideal for hot days; in temperate or cold weather, it goes unnoticed. For the accessible price, it delivers.
