  • Smells 95% like Green Irish Tweed but costs ten times less. Green and talc-like notes accompany the entire development. Ideal for mild or rainy days. Full review on my YouTube channel ‘MOY OLAF’. Best wishes!

  • WOW WOW WOW. The day I put my nose to the Creed Green Irish Tweed bottle, I knew I had found the best inspiration, the most real, leaving behind two decades of Cool Water and its approach. I had to review this beauty on my YouTube channel ‘Moy Olaf Fragancias’ because it deserves to be known by all lovers of this deeply green fragrance current. I leave you this small legacy hoping to make many happy. A hug.

  • It is inspired by Green Irish Tweed, does it achieve it? The opening has abundant iris, verbena and violet leaves, with green and talc-like floral tones. GIT has a fresh path green with dew, without so much iris. In projection, L’Aventure Knight wins from the start. In the middle phase, lower-quality ingredients such as ambroxan and sandalwood are noticeable, giving a creamy and talc-like feel, whereas GIT uses pure sandalwood and ambroxan. At the base, only the ambroxan is noticeable, Creed’s signature. Longevity: GIT 6 to 8 hours, L’Aventure Knight 10 to 11. It is a better clone than Tres Nuit, talc-like with good performance. Differences are evident to the nose but it is pleasant. My projection invades my personal space a bit. A substitute for GIT? By no means, but as a standalone fragrance it stands on its own.

  • It’s a fragrance inspired by Green Irish Tweed. Does it achieve it? The opening notes abundant iris, verbena, and violet leaves, achieves a talc-like and semi-fresh greenery, rather so much floral. GIT, on the other hand, presents a greenery proper to its name, fresh from paths with morning dew, with hardly any iris (2014 formula). In projection, L’Aventure Knight wins from the start and throughout its development. Already in the middle phase, the lower quality ingredients are more evident, where ambroxan and sandalwood with a bit of iris still are appreciated, giving a talc-like creaminess, which is only sandalwood and ambergris in GIT. Towards the base of both, the ‘ambergris’ is noted only, the Creed signature. In terms of longevity, GIT rounds 6-8 hours, LA Knight 10-11. In summary, it’s a better clone than Tres Nuit. Talc-like. Good performance. The differences are evident to the nose. But it’s pleasant. Any complaints? My race gets closer than it should, invading my personal space a bit. Substitute for GIT? Not at all. But if you take it as a fragrance on its own, it stands alone.

  • Does it resemble Green Irish Tweed? It is not identical; the resemblance is percentage-based. For me, GIT is more elegant with superior notes; its ambroxan gives an excellent transparent marine aroma. Does L’Aventure Knight outperform duration and projection? Yes, by a lot. Lasts 8 hours with 2 to 3 hours of projection. Does it resemble Cool Water? Yes, but it is much better than current versions and smells less chemical. It is timeless and suitable for all age ranges.

  • Does it resemble Green Irish Tweed? No, this doesn’t use identical notes and therefore its resemblance ends up being with a certain percentage of similarity. For me, GIT is more elegant and has higher quality notes (the ambroxan in GIT is of very high quality and gives a very good transparent marine aroma). Does L’Aventure Knight surpass the longevity and projection of GIT? By far, I’d say. The aroma duration in L’Aventure Knight is 8 hours and its projection is very good with 2 to 3 hours. Does it resemble Cool Water? Yes, but to my nose L’Aventure Knight is much better than a Cool Water, especially when compared to current versions. Al Haramain L’Aventure Knight doesn’t smell so chemical. It’s timeless and suitable for all age ranges.

If this is trying to smell like Green Irish Tweed, then I’d prefer not to smell Green Irish Tweed. It smells green, cheap, like a high school dressing room; it reminds me a lot of the classic Swiss Army. I bought a 6ml decant, preferred to empty it to use the decant for another perfume. At that level of dislike.

If this tries to smell like Green Irish Tweed, I prefer not to smell the original. It smells green, cheap, like a high school gym. It reminds me of the classic Swiss Army. I bought a 6ml decant and emptied it to use in another perfume; at this level of disgust it is not useful.

  • I received a 10ml decant, but its aroma has too much resemblance to those updated summer versions of Cool Water and a bit talc-like in the dry down. Nothing more than discovering America; I’m not saying it’s bad, but I’m looking for something that isn’t so repetitive and tested. Smells good, yes! For those still using Cool Water. Good luck, just spend on the decant and not on the 100ml perfume. Well, on to searching further.

I don’t have GIT and I don’t think I ever will; it’s obscene to me to pay $300 for a fragrance, but I’ve been told this is very similar. Well, I smelled it recently and it’s so masculine, green, fresh, and energising. I note something salty, it’s very long-lasting. Where I live, I saw it recently for $29 and it seemed an excellent option. I’ve had Cool Water and Udv Blue and they’re different; I note this KNIGHT as much greener and less aquatic. Excellent.

  • The first time I smelled it, its aroma was like a slap in the face of Cool Water: I perceived it as aquatic, mossy, and green. I like CW (masculine, raw) and Creed Green Irish Tweed (elegant, refined), each with its differences, but I must say that in this L’Aventure Knight fragrance, other notes appear that aren’t pleasant on my skin. Perhaps due to the damp, talc-like sensation, I’d describe its aroma as a slightly old damp cloth. The usual reaction from people around me when wearing this fragrance hasn’t been gratifying, at least in my experience. I’m not saying it’s a bad fragrance; I suppose it depends on how it behaves on each person’s skin and the satisfaction it brings. Then I perceive it as lacking the notable masculinity and refreshment of CW and the masculine vintage elegance of Creed Green Irish Tweed, therefore I feel it’s somewhat undefined. Mature, for 30 years and up, ideal for daily use or the office.

  • The first time I wore it, it felt like a hit of Cool Water: aquatic, mossy, green. I like both, but in L’Aventure Knight unpleasant notes appear on my skin. Due to that damp and talc-like sensation, it smells like old wet rags. People do not react well to it. It is not bad, it depends on the skin, but it lacks the refreshing masculinity of Cool Water and the vintage elegance of GIT. I feel it is indefinite, mature, for 30 years or more, ideal for the office.

My favourite Creed fragrance is Green Irish Tweed, my only weakness. With exorbitant prices, I sought alternatives such as Coolwater, Armaf Tres Nuit and Le Parfait; none convinced me, although Coolwater is great, it is far from GIT. This one from Al Haramain impressed me: green opening, herbal-citrus, exquisite, with silky iris giving a soapy sensation and incredible cleanliness. It resembles it quite a bit, though note quality differs. In the dry-down, an average nose cannot distinguish between the two. Lasts 8 hours, not a projection bomb but has a short trail, elegant, fresh, clean and gentlemanly. I recommend it if you are looking for a GIT alternative.

My favourite Creed fragrance is Green Irish Tweed; out of all I’ve tried from that house, that’s my only weakness. Given Creed’s exorbitant prices, I’ve sought cheaper alternatives and tried many: Davidoff Cool Water, Armaf Tres Nuit, and Armaf Le Parfait. None convinced me, mind you, I’m not saying they’re bad; I love Cool Water, but to be frank, they’re far from resembling GIT. However, I managed to try this one from Al Haramain and was impressed: green opening, herbal-citrus, delicious, with a silky iris that produces a soapy sensation and incredible cleanliness. This one does resemble GIT quite a bit, though the difference in note quality is undeniable. In the dry down, it’s hard to distinguish between the two, unless you have an expert nose. Lasts easily 8 hours, not a projection bomb, but has a short trail that lingers, elegant, fresh, clean, and gentlemanly. I recommend it if you’re looking for a Creed Green Irish Tweed alternative.

Ugh, what a delight. Smells like talc and is very similar to GIT. Highly recommended for the price and because the packaging is gorgeous.

  • HarrisonTomFord

Disappointing. I have a soft spot for Ted Lapidus’s Black Soul Imperial, and this smells too much like it. I understand it has some Cool Water in it, but in my opinion, it doesn’t even come close to that classic or GIT. Basically, throwing a few euros down the drain at Notino.

  • From my point of view, it’s much better than Cool Water; obviously, it’s not as good as Creed GIT, but for the price paid, it’s more than acceptable. Here in Mexico, GIT costs $7,900 and Knight costs $1,000; I prefer this Knight for this price. Creed’s do have better ingredient quality, but the performance doesn’t justify their price.

  • I don’t know if I received a defective sample, because the scent has nothing to do with perfume; it smells like lemon bathroom cleaner, plants, and the talc gives it a cleaning product touch. It’s an aroma no one should wear, besides being very synthetic. Unfortunately, it lasts quite a bit on skin; the clean bathroom smell sticks to you. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  • I do not know if a defective sample arrived, because it smells like nothing less than lemon and plant bathroom cleaner. The talc-like touch makes it smell like a cleaning product, an aroma nobody should wear. It is very synthetic and unfortunately lasts quite a while on the skin, leaving that clean bathroom smell stuck. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

  • A good perfume if we use the quality vs price premise. It resembles CW and GIT quite a bit. It doesn’t drive me mad, but for wearing it straight out of the shower after sport, it’s great. It’s masculine, versatile, and not one to buy blindly. Rating: 7.5/10.

  • luislaguelles

A very economical perfume and its cost fits well in its excellent case and bottle. But it’s too chemical, too artificial, especially as time passes.

  • luislaguelles

Very economical perfume, and its price is even better thanks to the box and bottle. But it smells too chemical and artificial, especially as time passes.

  • Mixed feelings: it smells clean, but not as expected; it smells like freshly washed clothes, in short, like laundry detergent. Although I love the smell of clean clothes, I don’t like smelling like that. For me, it’s a 3.5 out of 10.

  • When buying a perfume, apart from smelling good, you want it to feel rich. This isn’t rich; it’s a 6, quite normal. I have a 100ml bottle and already want to finish it so I never have to use it again. It’s an aroma a radical would wear.

  • Smells synthetic but pleasant for the heat. It doesn’t even reach the soles of Green Irish Tweed’s shoes, but for the price, it’s acceptable. Although I expected more given its reputation as a great clone. I prefer Armaf Le Parfait as it feels less synthetic and more humid. This Knight smells like Sprite with a talc touch.

  • Nestorberetta

Soapy beyond belief, thanks to the iris. Don’t stop with comments about it being synthetic; it’s all a matter of taste; there are natural and synthetic ways. It’s clean, green, with lots of iris, making you feel fresh and wearable. Lasts over 6 hours at night. Perhaps they should try it, as the iris isn’t for everyone.

  • Bought it blindly for a super discount. The opening was strange, nothing bad, but the evolution changed everything and I loved it. After researching, I saw it’s inspired by Green Irish Tweed by Creed. Now I want all the L’Aventure presentations.

  • Instantly lifts my spirits; smells fresh and if you have a connection with Cool Water or GIT, it transports you emotionally. As a non-sweet enthusiast, it’s a winner all year round, not just in summer. Lasts about 8 hours on skin. Despite some critics calling it synthetic, compared to GIT’s price, I’m more than happy.
