I’m writing this because I wanted to buy it and no one had reviewed it, so I went blind. I barely opened it without maceration and threw it away: the blend of bitter almond, heliotrope, and wood reminded me of a throat lozenge; my mother said it smelled of star anise. It had no evolution, the same scent all the time, and it didn’t captivate me (I’m 18). Edit: After two months of maceration, it smells the same. It’s for those over 30 due to its olfactory maturity, not versatile at all, only for special occasions. Good performance, over eight hours.
Does anyone who knows this line well know which is better: this or the Detour Noir Exclusif? I’ve smelled the latter and, while I like it and it evolves well over time, it just doesn’t suit me much. According to reviews, this one smells spicier and sweeter, which usually appeals to me more. Which one should I choose?
I bought it blind a month ago, drawn in by its notes. The first impression was good, slightly spicy, but what really stands out is the bitter almond. It’s not for daily wear; ideal for evenings or dates. The performance is brutal: over ten hours on my skin with good projection for the first two or three hours; afterwards it fades but the scent still lingers sometimes. I haven’t smelled the Pegasus Exclusif, but it reminds me of Tom Ford F*king Fabulous for those aromatic touches and the almond. If you can get it at a good price, it’s a solid addition to your collection.
I own several perfumes and this is my first review. To my taste, this smells very heavy; while the scent in the air is rich, two sprays on the skin quickly become suffocating and difficult to wear. It lasts over eight hours without issue. If it were less dense, I’d use it a lot for that interesting almond note. If you like to stand out significantly, you might enjoy it, but I prefer the Exclusif, which is more pleasant and wearable.
