  • Beauty in Capri has never been a must-buy, nor is any other in this range. I sprayed a little in a shopping centre and carried on; sometimes I’d raise my hand and catch a strange, sweet citrus impression, with something like a murky, salty vertebra that was quite off-putting, and I thought it wasn’t worth it. Then, sitting in a café and lifting my cup, the scent of an ozonic vetiver sweetened by a beautiful petit grain emerged. I was utterly surprised; it proved very luminous and coherent with its summer proposal, plus it hinted at good longevity. It’s perfect for a hot day; although there are thousands of options in this genre, Capri has a very lovely touch of elegance, it’s neat, discreet and extremely class-conscious, thanks to that vetiver virtue. It’s not a must, but if it captivates you, you’ll open your wallet with a thousand justifications (as happened to me) and take it home. Ideal for personal and romantic enjoyment. Longevity is below average, but with good application it delivers a perfect eight hours with a very effective skin sillage.

  • Thanks to Cedrat by Roger & Gallet, I discovered a note I absolutely love, the citrus, which in this Light Blue flanker is revealed in all its voluptuousness. I tested it on blotter paper. It seems charming, smells good, and is very pleasant. It’s extremely sweet (like almost everything these days) yet at the same time very fresh and summery. It feels totally unisex (like the men’s Light Blue), with an elegant combination of cedar and vetiver that after an hour brings a certain order to that cheerful, almost wild dance of citrus and petit grain. It was nothing like flat to me. At times I seemed to perceive hints of coconut, and I don’t know where all that sweetness comes from. The listed notes fall short, but well, they must be heat-induced illusions… It seems to last quite a while… Very suitable for holidays. With a Caribbean touch. 7/10

  • Very citrusy, must be that lemon and salty note… it radiates summer and sunshine… after Italian Zest, this is my second favourite of the Light Blue flankers… a real gem…

The base is the classic Light Blue, but layered with a quite sharp sweet-salty note (not Invictus style, its own thing). A good fragrance. More youthful than the original and fairly unique. Not really my cup of tea in terms of scent type, but it’s well made. Average performance for a summer perfume.

It’s the base of the classic Light Blue with a salty-sweet note on top, quite sharp and with its own style. Smells more youthful than the original and is fairly unique. Not really my taste in terms of fragrance type, but it is good. Normal performance for a summer scent.
